data-block-key="z6cn7">Wiley, a global leader in research and learning, has renewed its 'read and publish' transitional agreement (TA) with Jisc, which offers researchers at UK universities open access (OA) publishing in all Wiley journals at no cost to them.</p><p data-block-key="e82q6">The renewed agreement provides unrestricted OA publishing in Wiley’s hybrid journals for eligible authors and includes a 'gold fund' for publishing in fully OA journals, calculated to cover all anticipated eligible publishing.</p><p data-block-key="2jf9g">Workflow improvements mean it is easier for authors required to publish under the CC-BY (creative commons attribution) license to comply with their funder’s OA policy.</p><p data-block-key="4cjm4">The deal also continues to provide read access to Wiley’s full journal database and has removed additional fees for upgrades to include new subscription titles.</p><p data-block-key="e0egb">Caren Milloy, director of licensing at Jisc, says:</p><blockquote data-block-key="7sjcj"><p>“This improved agreement means that approximately 10,000 UK research articles can be published immediately OA and be free to reuse. UK universities open access (OA) publishing in all Wiley journals at no cost to them.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp data-block-key=\"e82q6\"\u003eThe renewed agreement provides unrestricted OA publishing in Wiley’s hybrid journals for eligible authors and includes a \u0026#x27;gold fund\u0026#x27; for publishing in fully OA journals, calculated to cover all anticipated eligible publishing.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp data-block-key=\"2jf9g\"\u003eWorkflow improvements mean it is easier for authors required to publish under the CC-BY (creative commons attribution) license to comply with their funder’s OA policy.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp data-block-key=\"4cjm4\"\u003eThe deal also continues to provide read access to Wiley’s full journal database and has removed additional fees for upgrades to include new subscription titles.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp data-block-key=\"e0egb\"\u003eCaren Milloy, director of licensing at Jisc, says:\u003c/p\u003e\u003cblockquote data-block-key=\"7sjcj\"\u003e\u003cp\u003e“This improved agreement means that approximately 10,000 UK research articles can be published immediately OA and be free to reuse.
