Additionally there was the bombing of two churches in Baghdad and the kidnapping of two girl chlidren one in Baghdad and one in Mosul. Furthermore many Christian families received letters threatening their liquidation. </p> <p>In response to this persecution more than 1800 Christian families have been forced to flee their homes to different parts of the Nineveh Plain. الإثنين مصادمات مسلحة بين عناصر من الجيش العراقي وافراد حماية احد مقرات الحزب الديمقراطي الكردستاني وسط كركوك اسفرت عن مقتل مدني واصابة جنديين وعنصري حماية بجروح. وقال مصدر في الجيش العراقي ان المصادمات وقعت في شارع اطلس وسط كركوك، من دون أن يبين الأسباب التي دفعت لوقوع هذه الإشتباكات. وأشار المصدر إلى أنه تم فرض طوق امني على المكان من قبل قوات الشرطة التي انتشرت بكثافة.</p> <p><strong>العراق وإيران يوقعان اتفاقية لتسليم المطلوبين</strong></p> <p>اعلن وزير الدولة الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة علي الدباغ ،اليوم الاثنين، " ان العراق وقع اتفاقية ثنائية مع ايران تقضي بتسليم المطلوبين "، مشيرا الى إن الاتفاقية هي شبيهة بالأتفاقيات التي وقعت مع تركيا والأردن قبل اشهر لتبادل المطلوبين. <br/>من جانبها رجحت وسائل إعلام إيرانية أن يكون الغرض من الاتفاقية، تسليم العراق لعناصر منظمة مجاهدي خلق الإيرانية المطلوبين لطهران. <br/>وذكرت وكالات أنباء إيرانية رسمية أن اتفاقا لتبادل المطلوبين وقع مساء امس في العاصمة الإيرانية طهران بين وزيرا العدل الإيراني مرتضى بختياري ونظيره العراقي حسن الشمري، من المؤمل أن يدخل حيز التنفيذ في القريب العاجل.</p> <p><strong>قيادي كردي: اتهام "العمال الكردستاني" بالاتجار بالمخدرات متعلق بصفقة اميركية – تركية</strong> </p> <p>رجح رئيس مؤتمر الشعب الكردستاني رمزي كارتال اتهامه مع ثلاثة قياديين في حزب العمال الكردستاني من قبل الولايات المتحدة بالاتجار بالمخدرات بانه مرتبط بصفقة شراء مروحيات عسكرية اميركية. <br/>واوضح كارتال لوكالة كردستان للانباء انه شعر بغضب شديد لدى سماعه النبأ قائلا انه من المستحيل ان تكون هناك أية علاقة بمتاجرة المخدرات مع اشخاص وهبوا حياتهم في سبيل نضال الشعب الكردي. <br/>ولفت كارتال الى ان الشعب الكردي الذي يبلغ تعداده نحو 20 مليونا بتركيا قد ذهب مرة اخرى ضحية العلاقات التجارية الدولة، مطالبا الولايات المتحدة بـالكشف عن الوثائق التي بحوزتها والتي تثبت تورطهم بالاتجار بالمخدرات للرأي العام الدولي.</p> <p><strong>عثمان : الأمريكان يمارسون ضغوطا على الأكراد بهدف تمديد بقائهم </strong></p> <p>كشف قيادي في التحالف الوطني الكردستاني أن الأمريكان يمارسون ضغوطا على الأكراد بهدف إقناع باقي الكتل بتمديد بقاء قواتهم بالعراق وفيما أكد أن الكرد مع قرار تمديد بقاء القوات الأمريكية في العراق شدد على أن يناقش</p> <p>أصحاب الشأن هذا الموضوع باعتباره امني أكثر مما هو سياسي.وقال النائب عن التحالف الكردستاني محمود عثمان إن قرار تمديد القوات الأمريكية في العراق وغيره من القرارات الحساسة لاتمر ألا إذا كان هناك اتفاق بين الكتل مبينا أن اغلب الكتل ضد قرار التمديد.وأضاف عثمان أن الجانب الأمريكي يضغط على الكرد سقوط قتلى وجرحى في درعا</b></p> <p>افادت وكالة "رويترز" نقلا عن مسؤولين اردنيين، ان سورية أغلقت حدودها مع الاردن اليوم الاثنين، بعد نشر وحدات من قوات الامن في مدينة درعا الجنوبية. <br/>واكد دبلوماسي بارز في عمان "اغلاق المعبرين الرئيسيين السوريين في درعا ونصيب على الجانب السوري، وذلك على ما يبدو في اطار اجراء عملية امنية كبيرة في درعا." <br/>هذا ونقلت وكالات الأنباء عن شهود عيان تأكيدهم دخول قوات الامن المدعومة بمدرعات ودبابات ،اليوم الاثنين، مدينة درعا والقيام بمداهمات وإطلاق العيارات النارية بشكل عشوائي، ما ادى الى سقوط عدد من القتلى والحرحى.</p> <p><font color="#800000"><strong>أخبار جدولا لتنفيذ الانسحاب من المحافظة نهاية العام الجاري، حسب الاتفاقية الأمنية المبرمة بين بغداد وواشنطن. <br/>وقال النجيفي في تصريح صحفي" إن القوات الأمريكية في محافظة نينوى وضعت جدولا لتنفيذ الانسحاب من المحافظة نهاية العام الجاري، بعد ان لمست إصرار الأهالي من مواطنين ومسؤولين بمطالبتهم برحيلها من خلال تنظيمهم التظاهرات والاعتصامات المتواصلة". <br/>وأضاف النجيفي" أن القوات الأمريكية في محافظة نينوى تعد العدة حاليا من أجل الرحيل عن المحافظة نهاية العام الحالي، حسب الاتفاقية الأمنية المبرمة بين بغداد وواشنطن".</p> <p><b>عودة 72 أسرة عراقية من سوريا خلال 48 ساعة الماضية</b></p> <p>كشف مصدر في منفذ الوليد الحدودي العراقي مع سوريا ،اليوم الاثنين، أن 72 أسرة عراقية عادت إلى البلاد قادمة من سوريا خلال 48 ساعة الماضية نتيجة الأوضاع التي تشهدها المدن السورية. <br/>وقال المصدر" إن 72 أسرة عراقية دخلت العراق خلال الـ48 ساعة الماضية عن طريق منفذ الوليد الحدودي، قادمين من مدن حمص ودرعا وريف دمشق واللاذقية السورية"، مبينا " أن الأسر العائدة أبلغت السلطات العراقية أنها اضطرت لمغادرة سوريا خوفا على أبنائهم من حملة الاعتقالات العشوائية التي تنفذها الشرطة السرية السورية". <br/>وأضاف المصدر" أن السلطات العراقية عملت على تسهيل عملية دخول تلك الأسر إلى الأراضي العراقية"، لافتا إلى" أن وجود عدد من كبار السن والمرضى بين تلك الأسر ".</p> <p><strong>وصول طائرة جثامين العراقيين في حادث العمرة في سوريا </strong></p> <p>وصلت صباح اليوم الى مطار البصرة طائرة عراقية وعلى متنها عدد من الجثامين والجرحى الذي اصيبوا في حادث سيارة العمرة في سوريا. <br/>وقال مصدر في المطار للوكالة الاخبارية للانباء: وصلت صباح اليوم الاثنين الطائرة العراقية القادمة من سوريا وعلى متنها 29جثمانا و20مصابا جميعهم من ابناء البصرة. <br/>واضاف المصدر, ان اهالي القتلى والجرحى وعدد من المسؤولين كانوا في استقبال ذويهم الذين قضوا وجرحوا في الحادث، مبينا ان الجرحى تم نقلهم الى عدد من مستشفيات البصرة لتلقي العلاج. <br/>يذكر ان الضحايا كانوا في طريقهم الى اداء العمرة عن طريق البر عبر الاراضي السورية وتعرضوا لحادث تصادم مع احدى الشاحنات في الطريق البري ، مما اسفر عن انقلاب السيارة في احد الوديان من ارتفاع 15م ،عن مستوى الشارع.</p> <h3><font color="#800000">الاخبار السياسية</font></h3> <p><strong>قيادي في كتلة الاحرار : عودة الصدر الى النجف لاعلاقة لها بموضوع تمديد وجود القوات الامريكية </strong></p> <p>اكد قيادي في كتلة الاحرار التابعة للتيار الصدري ان عودة زعيم التيارمقتدى الصدر الى النجف لاعلاقة لها بموضوع قضية تمديد بقاء القوات الامريكية في البلاد. <br/>وقال القيادي الذي فضل عدم ذكر اسمه (للوكالة الاخبارية للانباء) امس ان الصدر طالب علم ومتفرغ للدراسة وعودته لاتعني انه قادم لغرض التحقق من مسالة بقاء القوات الاجنبية. <br/>يذكر ان زعيم التيار الصدري مقتدى الصدر عاد الى النجف أمس قادماً من قم، وكانت تقارير صحفية قد اشارت الى ان عودة الصدر جاء ليتحقق بنفسه عما يروِّج له البعض من وجود اتفاق سري بين حكومة المالكي والإدارة الاميركية يقضي بتمديد بقاء القوات الامريكية في البلاد .</p> <p><strong>كنا:هناك مظلومية على المسيحيين بسبب عدم وجود توازن بين الحجم السكاني والتمثيل البرلماني </strong></p> <p>اكد النائب المسيحي ورئيس قائمة الرافدين البرلمانية يونادم كنا ان هناك مظلومية على المسيحيين لانه لايوجد توازن بين الحجم السكاني والتمثيل البرلماني. واكد كنا في تصريح صحفي " نحن لا ننعزل كدين أو كقومية ولكن نحن عراقيون وسنبقى, وهناك كثافة سكانية بما يعادل نصف مليون نسمة. مبينا" ان المسيحيين لايريدون الانعزال وهذه الفكرة سوقت خطاء بسبب التسويف ,لا طابع ديني أو قومي لطرح وهذا الكلام .مشيرا" سيكون هذا صحيح لو كانت الفكرة دينية أو قومية وهذا مرفوض لأنه بالأساس يتقاطع مع الدستور . موضحا" ان العراق يعيش صراعات ذات طابع يحمل عناوين فرعية وليس وطنية وهذه مشكلة العراق ألأساسية.متسائلا" هل مايجمعنا الوطن وهو عنواننا الرئيسي أم هناك عناوين فرعية وهذا شيء خطير ولا يخدم الوحدة الوطنية وعليه تتراكم مسألة الفساد والمحاصصة على أساس طائفي وحزبي.</p> <p><b>اسامة النجيفي : المحاصصة الطائفية دفعت بشخصيات فاسدة وضعيفة إلى مراكز صنع القرار</b></p> <p>أكد رئيس مجلس النواب أسامة النجيفي ،اليوم الاثنين، أن المحاصصة الطائفية والحزبية أدت إلى تغييب غالبية الشعب، ودفعت بشخصيات فاسدة وضعيفة إلى مكان صنع القرار في بعض مفاصل الدولة. <br/>وقال النجيفي خلال مؤتمر منظمات المجتمع المدني الذي عقد في بغداد اليوم الاثنين" إن حقوق الإنسان تبقى مدونات إلى أن يسعى الفرد في المجتمع إلى تحصيلها، أما الشعب الذي ينتظر أن تهب الحكومات له حقوق الإنسان على طبق من ذهب، فلن ينالها، وإن قدر أن ينالها فسينال قشورها". <br/>وأضاف النجيفي" أن توفير بيئة حقوق الإنسان يضعنا أمام تحد خطير، وهي كيفية إيجاد هذه البيئة في ظل دوامات بعض مسارات العملية السياسية، كالمحاصصة الطائفية التي أدت إلى تغييب غالبية الشعب لصالح النوايا الحزبية والطائفية، التي دفعت بشخصيات فاسدة وضعيفة إلى مراكز صنع القرار والإدارة في بعض مفاصل الدولة".</p> <p><b>اسامة النجيفي :بقاء القوات الاجنبية في العراق معروض على الحكومة وكلمة الفصل لمجلس النواب</b></p> <p>اعلن رئيس مجلس النواب اسامة النجيفي ان المزاج الشعبي في العراق لايريد بقاء قوات اجنبية في البلاد، مشيرا الى ان القرار الذي يجب ان يتخذ من قادة البلد والسياسيين هو الاصلح والاصوب قانونيا . <br/>واضاف خلال استقباله السفير الياباني في العراق سوسوموها سيغاوا ان الامر معروض الان على الحكومة وهي صاحبة الكلمة الاولى في تقدير حاجة العراق الى وجود قوات اجنبية من عدمه وستكون الكلمة الاخيرة والحاسمة في مجلس النواب لاقرار ذلك او رفضه. <br/>النجيفي بين "ان وجود خلافات سياسية تضر بالشراكة التي تشكلت الحكومة بموجبها وفق اتفاق سياسي معلن" لافتاً الى "وجود محاولات لاستكمال بنود هذا الاتفاق من خلال مفاوضات جارية حاليا ". <br/>وقال "اننا امام اختبار حقيقي في ممارسة الحريات وتقديم الخدمات للشعب ولو بنسب معقولة". <br/>واعرب النجيفي عن تعاطف الشعب العراقي مع الشعب الياباني في الكارثة التي اصابته جراء الاعصار والتلوث الاشعاعي الذي حصل، متمنيا ان لايكون ذلك عامل قلق للشعب الياباني .</p> <h5>الحائري يحّرم تمديد بقاء القوات الأمريكية في العراق </h5> <p>حرم المرجع الديني كاظم الحائري المقيم في إيران، الاحد ، تمديد بقاء القوات الأمريكية في العراق بعد انتهاء المدة المقررة في الاتفاقية الأمنية نهاية عام 2011، مؤكد أنه ليس من حق الحكومة العراقية والبرلمان أن يمددوا فترة بقاء هذه القوات. <br/>وقال بيان صدر عن مكتب الحائري في النجف إن المرجع يحرم تمديد بقاء المحتلين في العراق، بعد انتهاء المدة المقررة في الاتفاقية الأمنية، مضيفا أنه لا يحق للحكومة العراقية ومجلس النواب أن يمددوا فترة بقاء هذه القوات في العراق ولو ليوم واحد بعد نهاية عام 2011.</p> <p><strong>اليعقوبي:السياسيون لاضمير لهم ولا يتحركون إلاّ عندما تُحرق الأرض تحت أقدامهم وتُهدّد مصالحهم </strong></p> <p>دعا المرجع الديني الشيخ محمد اليعقوبي العراقيين الى أن يكونوا واعين ولا يسمحوا للانتهازيين بمصادرة جهودهم وتضحياتهم، ورفع شعارات غير ما خرج المتظاهرون من أجله، وأن يعرفوا قيادتهم بالخير والصلاح و لا يسيروا خلف مجهولين لا تُعرف أجنداتهم ولا الجهات التي يعملون لحسابها ويريدون توجيه الشعب عبر مواقع الفيسبوك واليوتيوب والتويتر. <br/>ونقلت الوكالة الاخبارية للانباء عن بيان لمكتب اليعقوبي قوله أن هذه اليقظة وهذه المطالبات جاءت متأخرة وبعد فوات الفرصة. <br/>وأكد اليعقوبي أن هؤلاء السياسيين لا ضمير لهم قد أعماهم حب الدنيا، ولا يتحركون إلاّ عندما تُحرق الأرض تحت أقدامهم وتُهدّد مصالحهم، لكن الشعب لم يفقه ما يقوله المخلصون له، وجاءته فرصة التغيير في الانتخابات ليختار من يعرف كفائته ونزاهته وإخلاصه لكن الأغلبية الساحقة اختارت نفس المفسدين المستأثرين.</p> <h3><font color="#800000">الاخبار الاقتصادية</font></h3> <p><strong>أعتصام سائقي باصات خط المدينة القديمة في النجف الأشرف </strong></p> <p>أضرب سائقو باصات الخط المستحدث من مرآب الداخل إلى المدينة القديمة احتجاجا على رفع هيئة النقل والمواصلات أجور النقل من 500 إلى 1000 دينار.وذكرت مصادر خاصة في المحافظة، ان سائقي الباصات شكلوا تجمعات تطالب المواطنين بالتضامن معهم للتظاهر احتجاجا على رفع الاجور. يذكر أن الإضراب أدى إلى حدوث مشاكل في نقل المواطنين وتأخر الموظفين عن الوصول الى عملهم في منطقة المدينة القديمة وبالعكس. واكد سائقو الباصات ان رفع الاجور يؤدي الى قلة ارتياد الباصات من قبل المواطنين، ما يؤدي الى انخفاض الاجور اليومية <p>انفجرت عبوة لاصقة بحافلة صغيرة نوع كيا في تقاطع القدس في ديالى مما ادى الى استشهاد السائق في الحال وجرح </p> <p>العشرات .وبين المصدر " ان الانفجار ادى الى استشهاد سائق"الكيا" بالاضافة الى جرح عشرات المواطنين الابرياء واضرار مادية كبيرة . ولم يذكر المصدر اي تفاصيل اخرى.</p> <p><strong>استشهاد ضابط في الجيش الحكومي بمنطقة السيدية </strong></p> <p>استشهد صباح اليوم ضابط في الجيش الحكومية باسلحة كاتمة للصوت في منطقة السيدية جنوب غرب العاصمة بغداد.وذكر</p> <p>مصدر امني " ان مسلحين مجهولين يستقلون سيارة رباعية الدفع اطلقوا النار من مسدساتهم الكاتمة للصوت على ضابط في الجيش العراقي حال وصوله المنطقة المذكورة ما تسبب باستشهاده على الفور في حين لاذ المجرمون الى جهة غير معلومة.واشار الى ان القوات الامنية سارعت الى فرض طوق امني حول مكان الحادث بعد ان قامت بنقل الجثة الى دائرة الطب العدلي.</p> <p><strong>نجاة مسؤول العمليات المشتركة في الحويجة من محاولة اغتيال </strong></p> <p>نجا مسؤول غرفة العمليات المشتركة في قضاء الحويجة العقيد غازي احمد من محاولة اغتيال بعبوة ناسفة بحسب قول مصدر في قوات شرطة كركوك. واضاف المصدر اليوم الاثنين أن عبوة ناسفة انفجرت على سيارة العقيد غازي احمد عند خروجه من مقر قيادات العمليات المشتركة في قضاء الحويجة مشيرا الى ان العقيد إصيب بجروح طفيفة.</p> <p><strong>انفجار عبوة ناسفة شمال بغداد </strong></p> <p>أفاد مصدر أمني الاثنين بأن جنديين عراقيين أصيبا بانفجار عبوة ناسفة شمال بغداد.وقال المصدر إن عبوة ناسفة كانت مزروعة على جانب الطريق بمنطقة الأعظيمة شمال بغداد، </p> <p>انفجرت في ساعة متقدمة من ليل أمس على دورية للجيش الحكومي مما أسفر عن إصابة اثنين من عناصرها نقلا على أثرها إلى مستشفى قريب لتلقي العلاج.</p> <p><strong>العثور على جثة شاب مصابة بإطلاقات في ديالى </strong></p> <p>أفاد مصدر أمني بأن قوة أمنية عثرت على جثة تعود لشاب وهي مصابة باعيرة نارية في منطقة الرأس عند ضفاف نهر في شمال بعقوبة.وقال المصدر إن قوة امنية عثرت على جثة شاب ,</p> <p>في العقد الثاني من عمره يدعى احمد شلال وهي مصابة باعيرة نارية في الرأس وملقاة على ضفاف نهرخريسان 3كم شمال بعقوبة واضاف المصدر أن الاجهزة الامنية نقلت الجثة الى وحدة الطبابة العدلية في مستشفى بعقوبة العام.</p> <p><strong>إصابة شرطيين في انفجار قرب كنيسة في الكرادة </strong></p> <p>أصيب شرطيان ومدنيان بجروح لدى انفجار عبوة ناسفة زرعت على الطريق قرب مدخل كنيسة كاثوليكية في بغداد يوم </p> <p>مس الأحد حيث يحتفل المسيحيون بعيد القيامة.وأوضح مصدر امني" أن الانفجار استهدف عربة للشرطة كانت توفر الحماية لكنيسة القلب المقدس في حي الكرادة وسط العاصمة.هذا وأصيب العميد الركن في وزارة الدفاع عبد الغني محمد بجروح بالغة عندما انفجرت عبوة مثبتة في سيارته في منطقة العامرية غرب بغداد.</p> <p><strong>شرطيات ديالى يعملن من دون رواتب ولا مخصصات حكومية لهن </strong></p> <p>تعاني النساء العراقيات العاملات في شرطة محافظة ديالى من غبن وعدم أنصافهن من قبل الحكومة، فهن يعملن في وحدات الشرطة بشكل رسمي ولكن من دون رواتب لعدة أشهر.وقالت مصادر من الشرطة النسائية في المحافظة أن الوحدة النسائية شكلت بعد تنامي العمليات الإرهابية التي كانت تنفذها نساء تابعات لتنظيم القاعدة في المحافظة من خلال عمليات أنتحارية، حيث تم تسجيل أكثر من 32 عملية أنتحارية وقعت بالمحافظة في ذلك الوقت نفذت بواسطة نساء، تمكن من عبور السيطرات الأمنية وتفجير أنفسهن داخل أهداف معينة أسفر عنها عشرات الشهداء. وتابعت المصادر أنه وعلى اثر تلك العمليات تشكل فصيل "بنات العراق" المكون من 250 شرطية ويتسلمن مبلغاً يتراوح بين 250 و330 دولار شهريا، كانت تدفع لهن من قبل القوات الأمريكية، وقام هذا الفصيل بدوره على أكمل وجه، فلم يحصل خرق أمني من قبل أي عنصر نسوي، ولهذا أشادت الحكومة العراقية بدورهن وقالت بصراحة "إن وحدة الشرطة النسائية في ديالى ساهمت بنصيب كبير في إحباط هجمات انتحارية كانت ستنفذها نساء". وتابعت المصادر أنه في مقابل هذه التضحية والجهد والعطاء والإشادة الحكومية بدور أولئك النسوة العراقيات، التي يعملن ضمن مسمى "بنات إن "الاحتفال بعيد الشعانين الذي أقيم اليوم الأحد، تضمن احياء قداديس دينية في كنيسة مدينة القوش"، مشيراً إلى إن "المشاركين ابتهلوا خلال صلواتهم لحلول السلام والأمان". <br/>وأضاف أن "الاحتفال شهد مشاركة أوسع للمحتفلين مقارنة بالعام الماضي، كما أن عدداً من عوائل المهاجرين جاءوا من خارج العراق للمشاركة في أعياد السعانين والفصح في مناطقهم". <br/>ودعا كاهن كنيسة القوش، إلى "طي صفحة الماضي والنظر بأمل إلى المستقبل، والعمل من أجل السلام وبناء العراق"، مؤكداً في الوقت نفسه، على "أهمية بقاء المسيحيين في أرضهم ووطنهم". <br/>ويحتفل المسيحيون بعيد الشعانين (الخلاص)، في الأحد السابع من الصوم الكبير، والأخير قبل عيد الفصح أو القيامة، ويسمى الأسبوع الذي يبدأ به بـ"اسبوع الشعانين"، أو "اسبوع الآلام"، وهو يوم ذكرى دخول السيد المسيح إلى بيت المقدس، واستقباله من قبل الجموع بفرش ثيابهم وأغصان الأشجار والنخيل والزيتون احتفالاً بمقدمه. <br/>من جهته، قال كرم كامل، أحد المشاركين في الاحتفال، لــ"السومرية نيوز"، إن "للاحتفال بعيد الشعانين نكهة خاصة، ونحرص من خلال المشاركة في طقوسه على الحفاظ على التقاليد، وعلى أصالة الوجود المسيحي في العراق"، مضيفاً أن "مسيحيي المنطقة شاركوا بحماس كبير في الاحتفال، وحرص العديد منهم على ارتداء أزياء تقليدية في محاولة لإثبات وجودهم فوق أرضهم". <br/>ودعا كامل، الحكومة العراقية إلى "توفير الأمن ليتمكن المسيحيون العراقيون مم ممارسة حياتهم الطبيعية وطقوسهم الدينية بحرية في أنحاء البلاد". <br/>وبحسب مصادر مطلعة، فإن المئات من الأسر المسيحية استقرت في منطقة سهل نينوى، شمال شرق الموصل، منذ الهجوم المسلح على كنيسة "سيدة النجاة"، في منطقة الكرادة وسط بغداد، خلال تشرين الثاني الماضي، وهرباً من تهديدات الجماعات المسلحة لهم. <br/>يذكر أن عدد المسيحيين في العراق بلغ في الثمانينيات ما بين مليون إلى مليوني نسمة، وانخفضت هذه النسبة خلال حقبة التسعينيات بسبب توالي الحروب وتردي الأوضاع الاقتصادية، في حين هاجر القسم الأكبر منهم، بعد سنة 2003 بسبب أعمال العنف التي طالتهم في مناطق مختلفة من العراق. <br/>وكانت كنيسة سيدة النجاة، تعرضت في 31 تشرين الثاني الماضي، إلى اقتحام من قبل مجموعة مسلحة أقدمت على احتجاز عشرات الرهائن من المسيحيين الذي كانوا يقيمون قداس الأحد، وأسفرت العملية عن مقتل و إصابة ما لا يقل عن 125 شخصاً من المصلين، وقد تبنى تنظيم ما يعرف بدولة العراق الإسلامية في بيان له الهجوم وهدد بمواصلة استهداف المسيحيين في العراق، كما شهدت مناطق عدة في العراق، بعد الحادث، لاسيما في بغداد والموصل، حركة نزوح كثيفة لعائلات مسيحية إلى مناطق إقليم كردستان العراق، إما بفعل تلقيها تهديدات من قبل مجهولين، أو بفعل تعرض أفرادها لاعتداءات. <br/>ويضم العراق أربع طوائف مسيحية رئيسة align="right"> <div dir="rtl" align="right"> <p>بغداد: تتواصل محنة شريحة مهمة من شرائح المجتمع العراقي  في ظل تصعيد اعمال العنف والاستهداف التي يتعرضون اليها في العراق على وجه الخصوص  انهم المسيحيون الذين عاشوا في العراق على امتداد الاف السنيين وكانوا  الحديقة التي تسر الناظرين اليها لكثرة الورودة الجميلة فيها  واليوم تقف كاتدرائيات المسيحيين صامتة فيما احياؤهم يهجرها سكانها.</p> <p>والمسيحيون في العراق يواجهون حقيقيتين ما كانتا تخطران بالبال: الاولى هي ان الاحتفالات بعيد الميلاد (يوم 25 كانون اول بالنسبة للكاثوليك والسادس من كانون ثاني بالنسبة للبروتستانت) قد الغيت. والثانية ان القليل فقط منهم يرغب بالاحتفال بالايام المقدسة القادمة.انها اسوأ سنوات يمر بها مسيحيو البلاد، فقد هرب الالاف في الشهر الماضي، وغادر الكثير منهم العراق خلال عام 2010 مقارنة بمن غادروا منذ الاحتلال عام 2003 اي قبل ثماني سنوات. ويقول الزعماء المسيحيون انها كانت اكثر السنوات الحاسمة في تاريخ المسيحيين الذي يمتد لالفي عام وسط بلاد العرب.وجرى آخر نزوح جماعي للمسيحيين بعد مذبحة الكنيسة الكاثوليكية الكلدانية في وسط بغداد على يد القاعدة في اليوم الاخير من شهر تشرين اول والتي خلفت حوالي 60 قتيلا، وبحدود مئة معوق وجالية مرعوبة تتوجس الشر. ومنذ ذلك الحين، والجماعة الإرهابيةَ تستهدف المسيحيين في بيوتهم، بضمنهم أفراد عائلة نجت من هجوم كنيسة سيدة النجاة.وألغيت مراسم عيد الميلاد في بغداد، إضافة إلى المدن الشمالية الموصل وكركوك مخافة وقوع اعمال عنف اخرى. وفي حينها قال الزعماء الكنسيون انهم لن يعلقوا زينة عيد الميلاد ولن يحتفلوا بقداس منتصف الليل. وأخبروا العوائل أَنْ لا يقوموا بتزيين بيوتهم مخافة ان تنفذ القاعدة هجمات بعد ان كررت تهديداتها باستهداف المسيحيين في وقت سابق.ويقول رئيس الوقف المسيحي في العراق عبد الله النوفلي ان "اكثر من 80 % من مسيحيي العراق لم يعودوا يذهبون الى الكنائس. ولم تعد هناك مدارس يوم الاحد، ومدارس (خاصة) بتعليم المسيحيين. وحول عيد الميلاد كان القرار ان نقوم بقداس واحد في حين كنا نقوم في السابق بعدة قداسات".وكانت كنيسة النوفلي اغلقت وتم تحصينها في عام 2005 بعد ان استنزف العنف بغداد. لكن العديد من الكنائس ظلت مفتوحة منذ تلك الفترة وحتى الان. ومن المعتقد ان عشر كنائس على الاقل أغلِقتْ في أعقاب الهجوم على كنيسة سيدة للنجاة، اما الكنائس الاخرى فكان التواجد فيها قليلا جدا.ووصل عديد السكان المسيحيين في العراق الى النصف منذ الاطاحة بصدام. لكن نسبة المغادرين ارتفعت في الشهرين السابقين. وتذكر اللجنة العليا لشؤون اللاجئين التابعة للأمم المتحدة ان أعدادا عالية من المسيحيين العراقيين يقومون بالتسجيل في سوريا والأردن ولبنان. وفي شمال العراق الكردي، تزايدت اعداد اللاجئين بكثرة طاغية.ويستمر وصول المسيحيين الى الشمال العراقي منذ ان قدم مسعود بارزاني رئيس اقليم كردستان الحماية والمأوى لهم بعد المذبحة.ويقول المسؤولون الاكراد ان الف عائلة على الاقل وافقت على ما عرضه بارزاني. ويعتقد عبد الله النوفلي ان العدد اكثر من ذلك. ويقول ان الاكراد كانوا مرحبين ودافئين. لكنه يخشى ان الانتقال الى هناك لن يقدم للجماعة المسيحية حلا دائما.ويضيف "لقد رأينا في كردستان انه لا تتوفر القدرة على قبول الطلاب في الجامعات. ولا توجد مقاعد دراسية كافية لهم. ويجب ان يكون (للمسيحيين) فرصة للتعلم والعمل. فالمشكلة ليست امنية فقط".وفي لبنان يتم تفحص محنة مسيحيي العراق بدقة. ويقول الاب يوسف مونس من مجلس الكنائس الكاثوليكية في الشرق الأوسط "نحن نتفهم الصدمة التي يعانيها المسيحيون العراقيون. ونريدهم ان يعرفوا اننا لن نتركهم لوحدهم".ويضيف "هناك قضايا قديمة يتم العمل عليها. وهؤلاء الاشخاص [القاعدة] يقتلون بسبب فتوى".وقد شكل مسيحيو لبنان مرة أغلبية سكانية. لكن الهجرة والحرب الاهلية الوحشية أنقصت الاعداد كثيرا. ويعتقد امين الجميل الرئيس اللبناني السابق والاب الحالي للعديد من المسيحيين ان هناك الكثير الذي يمكن للزعماء المسلمين القيام به لضمان ان لا يكون النزوح المسيحي شاملا.ويقول الجميل ان "المسيحيين كَانوا وطنيين تماما، انهم جزء من مؤسسات هذه المنطقة. ونحن لا نستطيع فهم مثل هذه السلبية القوية من قبل الزعماء. وعندما يتم تطهير المنطقة من الاديان الاخرى (ما عدا الاسلام) فعندها سيتم تسليمها للاصوليين".وفي الابرشية الكلدانية في بعبدا فوق بيروت يستقبل الاب حنا العوائل العراقية الهاربة من وطنها. ويقول "انا ساعود الى هناك واقدم الخدمات (الكنسية) حتى ولو بقي شخص واحد اذا توجب عليَّ ذلك. لكن حتى الان ليس من المحتمل القيام بذلك.</p> </p></div> </div> </div> <hr/> <div class="post clearfix" align="right"> <p>Their cathedrals stand silent and their neighbourhoods are rapidly emptying. Now <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20130126114105/http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/iraq" class="external" target="_blank">Iraq</a>’s Christians face two further unthinkable realities: that Christmas this year is all but cancelled, and that few among them will stay around to celebrate future holy days.</p> <p>It has been the worst of years for the country’s Christians, with thousands fleeing in the past month and more leaving the country during 2010 than at any time since the invasion nearly eight years ago. Christian leaders say there have been few more defining years in their 2,000-year history in central Arabia.</p> <p> <a title="20102412_captioned_memorial_murdered_christians by Gorillas Guides, on Flickr" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20130126114105/http://www.flickr.com/photos/gorillasguides/5287899085/" class="external" target="_blank"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin: 0px auto 5px" height="276" alt="20102412_captioned_memorial_murdered_christians" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20130126114105im_/http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5245/5287899085_689e1097d8_o.jpg" width="460"/></a> <p>The latest exodus follows a massacre led by al-Qaida at a Chaldean Catholic church in central Baghdad on 31 October, which left about 60 people dead, almost 100 maimed and an already apprehensive community terrified. Since then, the terrorist group has targeted Christians in their homes, including family members of those who survived the attack.</p> <p>In Baghdad, as well as the northern cities of Mosul and Kirkuk, Christmas services have been cancelled for fear of further violence. Church leaders said they would not put up Christmas decorations or celebrate midnight mass. They told families not to decorate their homes, for fear of attack after al-Qaida reiterated its threat to target Christians earlier this week.</p> <p>"Now more than 80% of Christians are not going to the churches," said the head of Iraq’s Christian Endowment group, Abdullah al-Noufali. "There is no more sunday school, no school for teaching Christianity. Yesterday we had a discussion about what we would do for Christmas. We took a decision just to do one mass. In years before we had many masses."</p> <p>Noufali’s church was closed and barricaded in 2005 when violence was consuming Baghdad. Many others had stayed open since then. Until now. In the wake of the attack on the Our Lady of Salvation church, at least 10 churches are believed to have been closed. At others, congregations are down to a handful.</p> <p>Iraq’s Christian population has halved since the ousting of Saddam Hussein. But in the past two months, the rate of departure has soared. The United Nations High Commission for Refugees is reporting high numbers of registrations by Christians in Syria, Jordan and Lebanon. And in Iraq’s Kurdish north, the number of refugees is overwhelming.</p> <p>Christians have been arriving since the president of the Kurdish regional government, Massoud Barazani, offered them protection and refuge days after the massacre.</p> <p>Kurdish officials say at least 1,000 families have taken up the offer. Noufali believes the number is far higher. He says the Kurds have been warm and welcoming, but fears that moving there does not offer his community a long-term solution.</p> <p>"We have seen in Kurdistan that they have no ability to accept the Kurdish students in the universities," he said. "There are not enough chairs in the university for them. They must have opportunity to learn and work. The problem is not just security."</p> <p>In Lebanon, the plight of Iraq’s Christians is being carefully scrutinised. Father Yusef Muwaness, of the Council of Catholic Churches in the Middle East, said: "We understand the shock [the Iraqis] are enduring. We want them to know that they won’t be left alone.</p> <p>"There are ancient issues at work. These people [al-Qaida] are killing because of a fatwa. There has not been a mufti who has stood up and said this is wrong."</p> <p>Lebanon’s Christians once held a demographic majority. Emigration and a brutal civil war has whittled numbers away. Amin Gemayel, a former Lebanese president and now patriarch of many of the country’s remaining Christians, believes far more could be done by Muslim leaders to ensure that the exodus is not total.</p> <p>"The Christians were very nationalistic," he said. "They are part of the foundations of this area. We can’t understand such extremity then passivity from the leaders. When the region is completely cleansed of other religions (apart from Islam) it will be a surrender to the fundamentalists."</p> <p>In the Chaldean archdiocese in Baabda, above Beirut, Father Hanna has been receiving Iraqi families fleeing their homeland. "I would go back there to give a service in front of one person, if I had to," he said. "But even that may not be possible now. Since 1 November, we have seen 450 families register here. Many more have gone to the UN."</p> <p>Among those who have stayed in Iraq and tried to build a new life in the north, there are mixed feelings. "Three days after the church attack I left my house (in Baghdad) and came to the KRG," said Georges Qudah, 30, a pharmacy assistant. "At the main checkpoint I said we are a Christian family, and they said we are welcome to stay as long as we want. I feel safe and comfortable here, but the problem is how to live. The council here has given us blankets and beds, but housing is very expensive."</p> <p>In Baghdad, there are few signs of the joy of Christmas.</p> <p>"There is no hope here anymore," says Noufali. "No one can believe they [the Christians] will stay. Christmas came with two messages, peace in the world and hope for the people and we need these two things for our life in Iraq. If there are no more Christians here, I am certain Iraq will become a more dangerous country."</p> <h3>Christianity in the Middle East</h3> <p> Freedom of worship for Christians varies greatly across the Middle East. <p>In Lebanon, where about half the population are Christian, believers are allowed to practise their faith without fear of persecution. The Maronite Church is the largest, most politically active and influential denomination, holding 34 of the 64 Christian seats in the Lebanese parliament.</p> <p>In Jordan, Christians are free to profess their faith, build churches, schools, hospitals and universities. They attend mass and there are public celebrations of religious festivals and ceremonies. They experience less discrimination and more freedom than fellow believers in Egypt and Iraq. There is a similar portrait of stability and freedom in Syria, where Christians comprise up to 10% of the population.</p> <p>Evangelising bvy Protestants in Jordan has prompted a crackdown on churches, visas and summer camps. Attempting to convert Muslims is illegal, but there is no law against proselytising to other Christians and some Catholic and Orthodox groups have complained of energetic wooing from Protestants. It is this evangelising that has offended authorities, keen to avoid religious zealotry of any sort.</p> <p>What Saudi Arabia lacks in violent persecution it makes up for in outright intolerance. There is no religious freedom in Saudi Arabia, which counts a million Catholics in its population. The country allows Christians to enter for work purposes but severely restricts the practise of their faith.</p> <p>Christians worship in private homes and there are bans on religious articles including Bibles, crucifixes, statues, carvings and items bearing religious symbols. The religious police bar the practice of any religion other than Islam. Conversion of a Muslim to another religion is considered apostasy and carries a death sentence if the accused does not recant. The main source of fear for the remaining ones is that they have no idea of who is fueling the anti-Christian violence in the violent city.</p> <p>“We live under a cycle of fear and instability. We are always worried and have no taste for peace. We seriously consider leaving the city,” said Behnam Moayad.</p> <p>Amira Salem says fear and terror have become part of Christian life in the city. “It is the same during the day and during the night. If one of our children goes to school and is late for a few minutes, we get extremely worried and afraid,” she said.</p> <p>She said Christians lock their doors before it gets dark every day and refuse opening them no matter who is the one knocks on the door.</p> <p>Many Christians have fled the country or left to areas that are relatively safer such as the Kurdish north. But emigrating and leaving is not the solution, according to Nameer Fadi.</p> <p>“I have thought about it (emigration) a great deal but it cannot be the ideal solution. Foreign (European) countries are making it more and more difficult for refugees to settle down. The mosque’s minarets tower over the cathedral, but the Maronites were built a spanking new archbishop’s house between the two buildings as compensation. Yet every day, the two calls to prayer – the clanging of church bells and the wailing of the muezzin – beat an infernal percussion across the city. Both bells and wails are tape recordings, but they have been turned up to the highest decibel pitch to outdo each other, louder than an aircraft’s roar, almost as crazed as the nightclub music from Gemmayzeh across the square. But the Christians are leaving.</p> <p>Across the Middle East, it is the same story of despairing – sometimes frightened – Christian minorities, and of an exodus that reaches almost Biblical proportions. Almost half of Iraq’s Christians have fled their country since the first Gulf War in 1991, most of them after the 2004 invasion – a weird tribute to the self-proclaimed Christian faith of the two Bush presidents who went to war with Iraq – and stand now at 550,000, scarcely 3 per cent of the population. More than half of Lebanon’s Christians now live outside their country. Once a majority, the nation’s one and a half million Christians, most of them Maronite Catholics, comprise perhaps 35 per cent of the Lebanese. Egypt’s Coptic Christians – there are at most around eight million – now represent less than 10 per cent of the population.</p> <p>This is, however, not so much a flight of fear, more a chronicle of a death foretold. Christians are being outbred by the majority Muslim populations in their countries and they are almost hopelessly divided. In Jerusalem, there are 13 different Christian churches and three patriarchs. A Muslim holds the keys to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to prevent Armenian and Orthodox priests fighting each other at Easter. </p> <p>When more than 200 members of 14 different churches – some of them divided – gathered in Rome last week for a papal synod on the loss of Christian populations in the lands where Christianity began, it was greeted with boredom or ignored altogether by most of the West’s press.</p> <p>Yet nowhere is the Christian fate sadder than in the territories around Jerusalem. As Monsignor Fouad Twal, the ninth Latin patriarch of Jerusalem and the second to be an Arab, put it bleakly, "the Israelis regard us as 100 per cent Palestinian Arabs and we are oppressed in the same way as the Muslims. But Muslim fundamentalists identify us with the Christian West – which is not always true – and want us to pay the price." With Christian Palestinians in Bethlehem cut off from Jerusalem by the same Israeli wall which imprisons their Muslim brothers, there is now, Twal says, "a young generation of Christians who do not know or visit the Holy Sepulchre".</p> <p>The Jordanian royal family have always protected their Christian population – at 350,000, it is around 6 per cent of the population – but this is perhaps the only flame of hope in the region. The divisions within Christianity proved even more dangerous to their community than the great Sunni-Shia divide did to the Muslims of the Middle East. Even the Crusaders were divided in their 100-year occupation of Palestine, or "Outremer", as they called it. The Lebanese journalist Fady Noun, a Christian, wrote a profound article from Rome last week in which he spoke of the Christian loss as "a great wound haemorrhaging blood", and bemoaned both Christian division and "egoism" for what he saw as a spiritual as well as a physical emigration. "There are those Christians who reach a kind of indifference… in Western countries who, swayed by the culture of these countries and the media, persuade eastern Christians to forget their identity," he wrote.</p> <p>Pope Benedict, whose mournful visit to the Holy Land last year prompted him to call the special synod which ended in the Vatican at the weekend, has adopted his usual perspective – that, despite their difficulties, Christians of the "Holy Land" must reinvigorate their feelings as "living stones" of the Middle Eastern Church. "To live in dignity in your own nation is before everything a fundamental human right," he said. "That is why you must support conditions of peace and justice, which are indispensable for the harmonious development of all the inhabitants of the region." But the Pope’s words sometimes suggested that real peace and justice lay in salvation rather than historical renewal.</p> <p>Patriarch Twal believes that the Pope understood during his trip to Israel and the West Bank last year "the disastrous consequences of the conflict between Jews and Palestinian Arabs" and has stated openly that one of the principal causes of Christian emigration is "the Israeli occupation, the Christians’ lack of freedom of movement, and the economic circumstances in which they live". But he does not see the total disappearance of the Christian faith in the Middle East. "We must have the courage to accept that we are Arabs and Christians and be faithful to this identity. Our wonderful mission is to be a bridge between East and West."</p> <p>One anonymous prelate at the Rome synod, quoted in one of the synod’s working papers, took a more pragmatic view. "Let’s stop saying there is no problem with Muslims; this isn’t true," he said. "The problem doesn’t only come from fundamentalists, but from constitutions. In all the countries of the region except Lebanon, Christians are second-class citizens." If religious freedom is guaranteed in these countries, "it is limited by specific laws and practices". In Egypt, this has certainly been the case since President Sadat referred to himself as "the Muslim president of a Muslim country".</p> <p>The Lebanese Maronite Church – its priests, by the way, can marry – understands all too well how Christians can become aligned with political groups. The Lebanese writer Sami Khalife wrote last week in the French-language newspaper L’Orient-Le Jour – the francophone voice of Lebanon’s Christians – that a loss of moral authority had turned churches in his country into "political actors" which were beginning to sound like political parties. An open letter to the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, warning him to try to turn Lebanon into a "front line" against Israel, was signed by 250 Lebanese. Most of them were from the minority Christian community.</p> <p>Nor can the church ignore Saudi Arabia, where Christianity is banned as a religion just as much as the building of churches. Christians cannot visit the Islamic holy cities of Mecca or Medina – the doors of the Vatican and Canterbury Cathedral are at least open to Muslims – and 12 Filipinos and a priest were arrested in Saudi Arabia only this month for "proselytism" for holding a secret mass. There is, perhaps, a certain irony in the fact that the only balance to Christian emigration has been the arrival in the Middle East of perhaps a quarter of a million Christian Filipino guest workers – especially in the Gulf region – while Patriarch Twal reckons that around 40,000 of them now work and live in Israel and "Palestine".</p> <p>Needless to say, it is violence against Christians that occupies the West, a phenomenon nowhere better, or more bloodily, illustrated than by al-Qa’ida’s kidnapping of Archbishop Faraj Rahho in Mosul – an incident recorded in the US military archives revealed on Saturday – and his subsequent murder. When the Iraqi authorities later passed death sentences on two men for the killing, the church asked for them to be reprieved. In Egypt, there has been a gloomy increase in Christian-Muslim violence, especially in ancient villages in the far south of the country; in Cairo, Christian churches are now cordoned off by day-and-night police checkpoints.</p> <p>And while Western Christians routinely deplore the falling Christian populations of the Middle East, their visits to the region tend to concentrate on pilgrimages to Biblical sites rather than meetings with their Christian opposite numbers. </p> <p>Americans, so obsessed by the myths of East-West "clashes of civilisation" since 11 September 2001, often seem to regard Christianity as a "Western" rather than an Eastern religion, neatly separating the Middle East roots of their own religion from the lands of Islam.
