While he had gone to get his season ticket at the concessional rate, he was told that he should get it from the station where he resides. <br><br>The student argued with the authorities and also tried to file a formal complaint about the issue, but was instead roughed up by RPF officers at Churchgate. <br><br><keyword keytype="UNKNOWN" smid="0" usetype="2" botkeyword="false" keywordseo="Deepanshu-Bhandari" actualkeyword="Deepanshu Bhandari">Deepanshu Bhandari</keyword>, a student of final year Bachelor in Mass Media at St Xaviers College near CST wanted to renew his monthly pass. Bhandari said, “Since year 2004, I have been travelling between these two stations and everytime I have purchased my season ticket from Churchgate. When I asked if this was some new rule, the booking clerk told me that the rule had come into existence from last month.”<br><br>Bhandari was in doubts that booking clerk just wanted to pass the buck, as his duty timing was about to end. Bhandari thus asked him to show a copy of such a notice but the booking clerk replied abusively and shut the window on Bhandari’s face.<br><br><strong><em>When I asked if it is some new rule, the booking clerk said it  had come into existence from last month</em></strong> <br><strong>– Deepanshu Bhandari</strong><br><br>“I went to station superintendent’s office to report about the incident. He too, made me wait for a few minutes and then asked me to complain the incident to Chief Booking Supervisor,” adds Bhandari.<br><br>Officers at Chief Booking Supervisor’s office told Bhandari that the rule of buying season ticket from the place of residence has been in existence since years. <br><br>They did not allow Bhandari to lodge a complaint against the booking clerk. Instead, Railway Protection Force personnel was called in to drag Bhandari out of the office. <br><br><keyword keytype="UNKNOWN" smid="0" usetype="2" botkeyword="false" keywordseo="S-S-Gupta" actualkeyword="S S Gupta">S S Gupta</keyword>, Chief Public Relation Officer with WR said,  “I need to check the rules about season tickets being issued against the concession for students.
