"> <div class="Normal"> <p style="padding-top: 0pt; " class="paragraph_style"><span class="style">Eduardo Caballero</span> is a broadcast pioneer with 40+ years of experience in Spanish-language television and radio.<br/></p> <p class="paragraph_style"><br/></p> <p class="paragraph_style">He began his career in Spanish broadcasting in 1962, working as a radio salesman at <span class="style">WBNX-AM</span> in New York City.聽聽 By 1963, Caballero had become the nation鈥檚 first Hispanic General Sales Manager at a U.S. radio station.聽 From radio, Caballero moved to Spanish television in 1968, as Vice President/ Director of Sales at <span class="style">Spanish International Network</span> TV (now Univision).<br/></p> <p class="paragraph_style"><br/></p> <p class="paragraph_style">Caballero is best known for starting in 1973 <span class="style">Caballero Spanish Media,</span> the nation鈥檚 first and largest Spanish radio rep firm, which he sold to I<span class="style">nterep</span> in October of 1995.聽 Caballero Spanish Media was then representing over 130 Spanish radio stations, covering 90% of Hispanic consumers in the United States.<br/></p> <p class="paragraph_style"><br/></p> <p class="paragraph_style">In October, 1998, Caballero returned to the television industry, by launching the nation's first Spanish music broadcast television network, <span class="style">MasMusica TeVe</span>, with programming aimed only at young Hispanics. MasMusica TeVe was a privately Hispanic-owned company. He was also the founder of Caballero Television, one of the largest Hispanic-owned TV station groups in the country, which was recently sold to Viacom to be part of the newest MTV venture, MTV tr3s.<br/></p> <p class="paragraph_style"> <br/></p> <p class="paragraph_style">In 1988, Caballero was the first inductee to Hispanic Business Magazine鈥檚 Se Habla Espanol Hall of Fame.
