the sceptre of thy kingdom <i>is</i> a sceptre of righteousness:<p> <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/hebrews/1-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>thou lovest righteousness and hatest iniquity; therefore God, <i>even</i> thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thine associates."<p> <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/hebrews/1-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>And <i>in another place,</i> "Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast founded the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands:<p> <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/hebrews/1-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>they <i>shall</i> perish, but thou remainest; and they shall all grow old as a garment,<p> <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/hebrews/1-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>and as a mantle wilt thou fold them <i>up,</i> and they shall be changed;
