Officer</h4> <p>Natalie joined COPE in 2010 as the Operations Manager. Now Executive Officer, her main responsibilities are to implement the strategic goals and objectives of COPE, and support the Trustee Board and the activities of Council, overseeing the delivery and quality of all resources and services. </p> <p>Natalie previously worked for the BMJ Specialty Journals (1997-2004) and <em>The Lancet </em>(2005-2010). </p> <p>Natalie is a full time employee of COPE.</p> <h4><img alt="" src="/web/20220419125600im_/https://publicationethics.org/files/u7141/lindagough90.png" style="float:left; height:120px; margin:10px; width:90px"/></h4> <h4>Linda Gough<br/> COPE Administrator </h4> <p>Linda has been working as the COPE administrator since 2006 on a freelance basis. Her previous experience includes marketing for a renewable energy company, digital marketing for an organic grocery delivery company and marketing roles in journal and book publishing. Working with members of the COPE Team and digital agency, her focus is on coordinating and managing development that supports COPE’s strategic objectives. </p> <p>Christina is a freelance digital developer and project manager. Before joining COPE (in a freelance capacity) in 2020, she worked at universities, the Medical Research Council, and the Francis Crick Institute.</p> <h4><img alt="" src="/web/20220419125600im_/https://publicationethics.org/files/u7141/sabah-92w.jpg" style="float:left; height:117px; margin:10px; width:90px"/>Sabah Moran<br/> Administrative Assistant</h4> <p>Sabah is COPE's full time Administrative Assistant and joined the COPE team in 2018. Previously she worked as a Trainee Psychologist for HM Prison Service.</p> <h4><img alt="" src="/web/20220419125600im_/https://publicationethics.org/files/u7141/iratxe.jpg" style="float:left; height:120px; margin:10px; width:90px"/><a id="iratxe" name="iratxe"></a>Iratxe Puebla<br/> Facilitation and Integrity Officer</h4> <p>Iratxe is COPE’s Facilitation and Integrity Officer and in this role she supports the administration of the Facilitation and Integrity subcommittee. Iratxe has been involved with COPE on a freelance basis since 2012.</p> <p>Iratxe moved from research into publishing in 2003 when she joined the editorial team for the <em>BMC </em>series journals. She then became a freelance editor working for several organisations before joining the editorial team of the journal <em>PLOS ONE</em> where she became Deputy Editor-in-Chief. Currently, Iratxe is Associate Director for ASAPbio, a nonprofit with a mission to accelerate innovation and transparency in life sciences communication.</p> <h4><img alt="" src="/web/20220419125600im_/https://publicationethics.org/files/u7141/david-img1-90w.jpg" style="float:left; height:120px; margin:10px; width:90px"/>David Summers<br/> Membership Administrator</h4> <p>David joined COPE as a full time Membership Administrator in 2018. David has worked in publishing and communications teams in the non-profit sector for over 15 years. His last role was in the editorial team at Amnesty International.</p> <h4><img alt="" src="/web/20220419125600im_/https://publicationethics.org/files/u7141/bonita-90w.jpg" style="float:left; height:120px; margin:10px; width:90px"/>Bonnie Jacobs<br/> Graphic Designer</h4> <p>Bonnie is responsible for design and branding to ensure a consistent visual message and identity across all COPE communications and resources.</p> <p>Prior to joining COPE in 2017 (in a freelance capacity), Bonnie worked at several design and digital agencies in the UK. Her role involved producing designs for a range of applications across a variety of market sectors.
