The close-ups of Ginger Rogers alone make this a standout movie. This is one of the first movies Ginger Rogers made after all the dancing films with Fred Astaire at a time when she decided she needed a break from musicals. The movie premise is that she, as a single girl working at a department store, finds a baby at her doorstep. As fate would have it her boss and everyone else at the store thinks it is her baby and worse yet her boss's father thinks that the father is his son (her boss). The fun ensues and it's a classic case of mistaken identity. The comedy is light but Ginger Rogers is excellent. A true must see for Ginger Rogers fans. Ginger was 29 when this movie was made and she looks fantastic. If you're a man and you're not "reeled in" when she looks into the camera then you should check your pulse because you're probably dead. I gave this a 3 1/2 stars simply because of her presence. If she was removed from the film it would only rate 1 star at the most.

Have you seen this film?
