If he said, No; <span class="reftext"><a href="/judges/12-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>Then said they to him, Say now Shibboleth: and he said Sibboleth: for he could not frame to pronounce it right. Then they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan.
