The journal aims to provide platform for members to have access to latest and the best scientific, peer-reviewed, and clinically- oriented knowledge suitable to the specific needs of the region.The prestigious SAFOG Journal saw the light of the day way back in 2009 with the efforts and vision of Prof Rashid Latif, (Emeritus Editor), Narendra Malhotra(Founder editor), Rubina Sohail, and Alokendu Chatterjee(Chairman of Journal Committee). Dr Narendra Malhotra had the vision to bring out the journal to promote more studies from SAFOG region and to promote research in SAFOG countries and made contract with esteemed Jaypee publishers. Initially the editors saw a day when they used to personally ask friends to send researches in the journal and many times write themselves to bring out the issue timely. issues were released per year.
