Prior to joining ThinkGard, he spent 11 years at a small central Alabama municipality as the Director of Information Technology. In 2011, after devastating tornadoes tracked less than 2 miles from his office, he recognized the need for the city to implement what he calls a “proper backup and business continuity plan”. After meeting ThinkGard’s CEO Paul Franks and CTO Kevin Fuller at a technology conference in 2012 Michael was convinced that ThinkGard’s complete business continuity and disaster recovery solution was “beyond proper”.
