These oils can successfully replace the antibiotics. So, the microorganisms show their inefficiencies resistant for the antibiotics. For this reason, we study the physicochemical analysis and antimicrobial activity of the essential oil of Daucus carota. The extraction is done by steam distillation of water which brought us a very significant return of 4.65%. The analysis of the essential oil is performed by GC/MS and has allowed us to identify 32 compounds in the oil of D. carota flowering tops of Bouira. Although efforts have been made in the field of sanitation in urban areas, rural areas, due to their specificities, such as scattered dwellings and limited accessibility, suffer from a lack of basic infrastructure. This work focuses on replicating the Faculty of Sciences Ain Chock (FSAC) model for the treatment and reuse of wastewater from a peri-urban traditional hammam in Casablanca, specifically in the municipality of Dar Bouazza. This initiative is part of the Eco-Hammam project, which aims to minimize the negative impacts of traditional hammams in terms of irrational and uncontrolled consumption of water and wood energy resources. To achieve this, a comprehensive environmental diagnosis of all hammams in the municipality of Dar Bouazza, our study site, has been undertaken. Then, a feasibility study is also conducted to assess the possibility of replicating the FSAC mini-station to treat the wastewater of the selected pilot hammam, namely, My Yacoub II. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=water%20resource%20scarcity" title="water resource scarcity">water resource scarcity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=unconventional%20resources" title=" unconventional resources"> unconventional resources</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sanitation" title=" sanitation"> sanitation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=per-urban%20areas" title=" per-urban areas"> per-urban areas</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=rural%20areas" title=" rural areas"> rural areas</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=basic%20infrastructure" title=" basic infrastructure"> basic infrastructure</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=replication" title=" replication"> replication</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=reuse%20of%20wastewater" title=" reuse of wastewater"> reuse of wastewater</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=traditional%20hammam" title=" traditional hammam"> traditional hammam</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Casablanca" title=" Casablanca"> Casablanca</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Municipality%20of%20Dar%20Bouazza" title=" Municipality of Dar Bouazza"> Municipality of Dar Bouazza</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=negative%20impacts" title=" negative impacts"> negative impacts</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=environmental%20diagnosis" title=" environmental diagnosis"> environmental diagnosis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=feasibility%20study" title=" feasibility study"> feasibility study</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=pilot%20hammam" title=" pilot hammam"> pilot hammam</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=My%20Yacoub%20II" title=" My Yacoub II"> My Yacoub II</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/176379/eco-hammam-initiative-replicating-the-fsac-model-for-sustainable-wastewater-treatment-and-resource-reuse-in-dar-bouazza-morocco" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/176379.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">63</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">36</span> Simulation of High Performance Nanoscale Partially Depleted SOI n-MOSFET Transistors</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fatima%20Zohra%20Rahou">Fatima Zohra Rahou</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=A.%20Guen%20Bouazza"> A. With the reduction of dimensions of components at 0.1 micron and below, new physical effects come into play as the standard simulators of two dimensions (2D) do not consider. In fact the third dimension comes into play because the transverse and longitudinal dimensions of the components are of the same order of magnitude. To describe the operation of such components with greater fidelity, we must refine simulation tools and adapted to take into account these phenomena. After an analytical study of the static characteristics of the component, according to the different operating modes, a numerical simulation is performed of field-effect transistor with submicron gate MESFET GaInP. The influence of the dimensions of the gate length is studied. The results are used to determine the optimal geometric and physical parameters of the component for their specific applications and uses. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Monte%20Carlo%20simulation" title="Monte Carlo simulation">Monte Carlo simulation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=transient%20electron%20transport" title=" transient electron transport"> transient electron transport</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=MESFET%20device" title=" MESFET device"> MESFET device</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=GaInP" title=" GaInP"> GaInP</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/19250/modeling-the-transport-of-charge-carriers-in-the-active-devices-mesfet-based-of-gainp-by-the-monte-carlo-method" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/19250.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">419</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">33</span> 3D Quantum Simulation of a HEMT Device Performance</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Z.%20Kourdi">Z. We have demonstrated an excellent current density, as high as 2.05 A/mm, a peak extrinsic transconductance of 590 mS/mm at VDS=2 V, and cutting frequency cutoffs of 638 GHz in the first HEMT and 463 GHz for Field plate HEMT., maximum frequency of 1.7 THz, maximum efficiency of 73%, maximum breakdown voltage of 400 V, DIBL=33.52 mV/V and an ON/OFF current density ratio higher than 1 x 1010. These values were determined through the simulation by deriving genetic and Monte Carlo algorithms that optimize the design and the future of this technology. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=HEMT" title="HEMT">HEMT</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Silvaco" title=" Silvaco"> Silvaco</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=field%20plate" title=" field plate"> field plate</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=genetic%20algorithm" title=" genetic algorithm"> genetic algorithm</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum" title=" quantum"> quantum</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/30552/3d-quantum-simulation-of-a-hemt-device-performance" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/30552.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">476</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">32</span> Impact Of Anthropogenic Pressures On The Water Quality Of Hammams In The Municipality Of Dar Bouazza, Morocco</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nihad%20Chakri">Nihad Chakri</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Btissam%20El%20Amrani"> Btissam El Amrani</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Faouzi%20Berrada"> Faouzi Berrada</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Halima%20Jounaid"> Halima Jounaid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fouad%20Amraoui"> Fouad Amraoui</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Public baths or hammams play an essential role in the Moroccan urban and peri-urban fabric, constituting part of the cultural heritage. Urbanization in Morocco has led to a significant increase in the number of these traditional hammams: between 6,000 and 15,000 units (to be updated) operate with a traditional heating system. Numerous studies on energy consumption indicate that a hammam consumes between 60 and 120m3 of water and one to two tons of wood per day. On average, one ton of wood costs 650 Moroccan dirhams (approximately 60 Euros), resulting in a daily fuel cost of around 1300 Moroccan dirhams (about 120 Euros). These high consumptions result in significant environmental nuisances generated by: Wastewater: in the case of hammams located on the outskirts of Casablanca, such as our study area, the Municipality of Dar Bouazza, most of these waters are directly discharged into the receiving environment without prior treatment because they are not connected to the sanitation network. Emissions of black smoke and ashes produced by the often incomplete combustion of wood. Reducing the liquid and gas emissions generated by these hammams thus poses an environmental and sustainable development challenge that needs to be addressed. In this context, we initiated the Eco-hammam project with the objective of implementing innovative and locally adapted solutions to limit the negative impacts of hammams on the environment and reduce water and wood energy consumption. This involves treating and reusing wastewater through a compact system with heat recovery and using alternative energy sources to increase and enhance the energy efficiency of these traditional hammams. To achieve this, on-site surveys of hammams in the Dar Bouazza Municipality and the application of statistical approaches to the results of the physico-chemical and bacteriological characterization of incoming and outgoing water from these units were conducted. This allowed us to establish an environmental diagnosis of these entities. In conclusion, the analysis of well water used by Dar Bouazza's hammams revealed the presence of certain parameters that could be hazardous to public health, such as total germs, total coliforms, sulfite-reducing spores, chromium, nickel, and nitrates. Therefore, this work primarily focuses on prospecting upstream of our study area to verify if other sources of pollution influence the quality of well water. <p As the oxide thickness scales below 2 nm, leakage currents due to tunneling increase drastically, leading to high power consumption and reduced device reliability. Replacing the SiO2 gate oxide with a high-κ material allows increased gate capacitance without the associated leakage effects. In this paper, SOI TRI-GATE FinFET structure with use of high K dielectric materials (HfO2) and SiO2 dielectric are simulated using the 3-D device simulator Devedit and Atlas of TCAD Silvaco. The simulated results exhibits significant improvements in the performances of SOI TRI GATE FinFET with gate oxide HfO2 compared with conventional gate oxide SiO2 for the same structure. SOI TRI-GATE FinFET structure with the use of high K materials (HfO2) in gate oxide results into the increase in saturation current, threshold voltage, on-state current and Ion/Ioff ratio while off-state current, subthreshold slope and DIBL effect are decreased. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=technology%20SOI" title="technology SOI">technology SOI</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=short-channel%20effects%20%28SCEs%29" title=" short-channel effects (SCEs)"> short-channel effects (SCEs)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=multi-gate%20SOI%20MOSFET" title=" multi-gate SOI MOSFET"> multi-gate SOI MOSFET</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=SOI-TRI%20Gate%20FinFET" title=" SOI-TRI Gate FinFET"> SOI-TRI Gate FinFET</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=high-K%20dielectric" title=" high-K dielectric"> high-K dielectric</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Silvaco%20software" title=" Silvaco software"> Silvaco software</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/31441/performance-improvement-of-soi-tri-gate-finfet-transistor-using-high-k-dielectric-with-metal-gate" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/31441.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">347</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">30</span> High Performance of Square GAA SOI MOSFET Using High-k Dielectric with Metal Gate</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fatima%20Zohra%20Rahou">Fatima Zohra Rahou</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=A.%20Guen%20Bouazza"> A. Several rheological measurements; viscosity measurements, creep compliance tests at a constant low shear stress and oscillation experiments have been performed. The concentrations ranged by weight from 0.01 to 2.5% of PAC. It was found that the aqueous solutions of PAC do not exhibit a yield stress, the flow curves of PAC over a wide range of shear rate (0 to 1000 s-1) could be described by the cross model and the Williamson models. The critical concentrations of polymer c* and c** have been estimated. The dynamic moduli, i.e., storage modulus (G’) and loss modulus (G’’) of the polymer have been determined at frequency sweep from 0.01 to 10 Hz. At polymer concentration above 1%, the modulus G’ is superior to G’’. The relationships between the dynamic modulus and concentration of polymer have been established. The creep-recovery experiments demonstrated that polymer solutions show important viscoelastic properties of system water-PAC when the concentration of the polymer increases. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=polyanionic%20cellulose" title="polyanionic cellulose">polyanionic cellulose</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=viscosity" title=" viscosity"> viscosity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=creep" title=" creep"> creep</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=oscillation" title=" oscillation"> oscillation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cross%20model" title=" cross model"> cross model</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/6588/effect-of-polymer-concentration-on-the-rheological-properties-of-polyelectrolyte-solutions" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/6588.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">326</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">24</span> The Optical OFDM Equalization Based on the Fractional Fourier Transform</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=A.%20Cherifi">A. CPLDs offer very predictable timing characteristics and are therefore ideal for critical control applications. This paper describes how the logic synthesis techniques, such as 1) XOR detection, 2) logic doubling, 3) complement of a Boolean function are combined, applied and used to optimize the CPLDs devices architecture that is based on PAL-like macrocells. Simulation software based on a stochastic method such as Monte Carlo has been established. The results are discussed and compared with those of the experiment. However, its high cost is a major constraint, especially on the less windy sites. The purpose of wind energy systems is to maximize energy efficiency, and extract maximum power from the wind speed. In other words, having a power coefficient is maximum and therefore the maximum power point tracking. In this case, the MPPT control becomes important. To realize this control, strategy conventional proportional and integral (PI) controller is usually used. However, this strategy cannot achieve better performance. This paper proposes a robust control of a turbine which optimizes its production, that is improve the quality and energy efficiency, namely, a strategy of sliding mode control. The proposed sliding mode control strategy presents attractive features such as robustness to parametric uncertainties of the turbine; the proposed sliding mode control approach has been simulated on three-blade wind turbine. The simulation result under Matlab\Simulink has validated the performance of the proposed MPPT strategy. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=wind%20turbine" title="wind turbine">wind turbine</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=maximum%20power%20point%20tracking" title=" maximum power point tracking"> maximum power point tracking</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sliding%20mode" title=" sliding mode"> sliding mode</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=energy%20conversion%20systems" title=" energy conversion systems"> energy conversion systems</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/21686/sliding-mode-control-of-variable-speed-wind-energy-conversion-systems" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/21686.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">611</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">18</span> Physical and Mechanical Characterization of Limestone in the Quarry of Meftah (Algeria)</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Khaled%20Benyounes">Khaled Benyounes</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Determination of the rock mechanical properties such as unconfined compressive strength UCS, Young’s modulus E, and tensile strength by the Brazilian test Rtb is considered to be the most important component in drilling and mining engineering project. The yields of flavonoids is 7.242% for the aqueous extract and 28.86% for butanol extract, 29.875% for the extract of ethyl acetate and 22.9% for the extract of di - ethyl. The evaluation of the antibacterial effect shows that the diameter of the zone of inhibition varies from one microorganism to another. The operation values obtained show that the bacterial strain P fluoresces, and 3 yeasts and molds; <em>A. Niger</em>, <em>A. fumigatus</em> and <em>C. albicans</em>are the most resistant. But it is noted that, <em>S. aureus</em> is shown more sensitive to crude extracts, the stock solution and the various dilutions. Finally for the minimum inhibitory concentration is estimated only with the crude extract of <em>Thymus inodorus</em> flavonoid.Indeed, these extracts inhibit the growth of Gram + bacteria at a concentration varying between 0.5% and 1%. In the present study, the rheological characterization of cement grout with water/binder ratio (W/B) is fixed at 0.5. The effect of the replacement of cement by bentonite (2 to 10 % wt) in presence of superplasticizer (0.5 % wt) was investigated. Several rheological tests were carried out by using controlled-stress rheometer equipped with vane geometry in temperature of 20°C. To highlight the influence of bentonite and superplasticizer on the rheological behavior of grout cement, various flow tests in a range of shear rate from 0 to 200 s-1 were observed. Cement grout showed a non-Newtonian viscosity behavior at all concentrations of bentonite. Three parameter model Herschel-Bulkley was chosen for fitting of experimental data. Based on the values of correlation coefficients of the estimated parameters, The Herschel-Bulkley law model well described the rheological behavior of the grouts. Test results showed that the dosage of bentonite increases the viscosity and yield stress of the system and introduces more thixotropy. While the addition of both bentonite and superplasticizer with cement grout improve significantly the fluidity and reduced the yield stress due to the action of dispersion of SP. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=rheology" title="rheology">rheology</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cement%20grout" title=" cement grout"> cement grout</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=bentonite" title=" bentonite"> bentonite</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=superplasticizer" title=" superplasticizer"> superplasticizer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=viscosity" title=" viscosity"> viscosity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=yield%20stress" title=" yield stress "> yield stress </a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/18440/effect-of-bentonite-on-the-rheological-behavior-of-cement-grout-in-presence-of-superplasticizer" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/18440.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">362</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">13</span> Different Biological and Chemical Parameters that Influence the Polyphenols from Some Medicinal Plants in Western Algeria</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mustapha%20Mahmoud">Mustapha Mahmoud</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fouzia%20Toumi%20Benali"> Fouzia Toumi Benali</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohamed%20Benyahia"> Mohamed Benyahia</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sofiane%20Bouazza"> Sofiane Bouazza </a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This work focuses on the influences of biological and chemical parameters on the phenolic compounds such as flavonoids and tannins in different medicinal plants in western Algeria (Papaver rhoeas, Daphnegnidium, Lavandula multifida, Lavandula dentata, Lavandula stoicha, ...). Thus we look the difference between species of the same genus, difference between the different organs of the same species, the influence of environment all temperature influences, time, percentage of solvent on the extraction. Quantification of the phenolic compounds was performed by spectrophotometric method then treated with statistics tools such as variance analysis, multivariant analyzes, response surface methodology). The results show that the polyphenols are influenced by the parameters mentioned. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=polyphenols" title="polyphenols">polyphenols</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=influences" title=" influences"> influences</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=medicinal%20plants" title=" medicinal plants"> medicinal plants</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=west%20Algeria" title=" west Algeria"> west Algeria</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/56767/different-biological-and-chemical-parameters-that-influence-the-polyphenols-from-some-medicinal-plants-in-western-algeria" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/56767.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">294</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">12</span> Dynamics of Plant Communities with Chamaerops humilis in the Region of Tlemcen</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=O.%20Hasnaoui">O. Chamaerops humilis covers a big surface in this region, which appears in the majority of the cases in the form of more or less degraded matorral. Our work is dedicated to the comparative analysis of the groupings in chamaeropaie of the mounts of Tlemcen and mounts of traras, based on a phytoécologique approach. Four representative stations of chamaeropaies were retained to make this work. 120 floristic surveys were realized by using a minimal area of 100 m2. The obtained results show that the Mounts of Tlemcen present a wealth more important than those met at the level of the Mounts of Traras. More we go away from the coast towards the Mounts of Tlemcen, we notice a regressive evolution and a transformation of the plant carpet towards a thérophytisation, as well as an accentuation of the aridity. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tlemcen" title="Tlemcen">Tlemcen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=west%20Algeria" title=" west Algeria"> west Algeria</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Chamaerops%20humilis%20L." title=" Chamaerops humilis L."> Chamaerops humilis L.</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=phyto%C3%A9cological" title=" phytoécological"> phytoécological</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=floristic%20survey" title=" floristic survey"> floristic survey</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=th%C3%A9rophytisation" title=" thérophytisation"> thérophytisation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/34223/dynamics-of-plant-communities-with-chamaerops-humilis-in-the-region-of-tlemcen" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/34223.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">283</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">11</span> Zero Cross-Correlation Codes Based on Balanced Incomplete Block Design: Performance Analysis and Applications</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Garadi%20Ahmed">Garadi Ahmed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Boubakar%20S.%20Bouazza"> Boubakar S.
