The length<MH753> in cubits<MH520>, according to the old<MH7223> standard<MH4060a>, <i>was</i> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[d]</a></span>sixty<MH8346> cubits<MH520>, and the width<MH7341>, twenty<MH6242> cubits<MH520>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/2_chronicles/3-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>The porch<MH197> which<MH834> was in front<MH6440> <i>of the house</i> was as long<MH753> as the width<MH7341> of the house<MH1004>, <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[e]</a></span>twenty<MH6242> cubits<MH520>, and the height<MH1363> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[f]</a></span>twenty<MH6242>; and inside<MH4480, 6441> he overlaid<MH6823> it with pure<MH2889> gold<MH2091>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/2_chronicles/3-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>He overlaid<MH2645> the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[g]</a></span>main<MH1419> room<MH1004> with juniper<MH1265> wood<MH6086> and overlaid<MH2645> it with fine<MH2896a> gold<MH2091>; and he <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[h]</a></span>ornamented<MH5927, 5921> it with palm<MH8561> trees<MH8561> and chains<MH8333>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/2_chronicles/3-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>Further, he overlaid<MH6823> the house<MH1004> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[i]</a></span>with precious<MH3368> stones<MH68>; and the gold<MH2091> was gold<MH2091> from Parvaim<MH6516>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/2_chronicles/3-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>He also overlaid<MH2645> the house<MH1004> with gold<MH2091>—the beams<MH6982>, the thresholds<MH5592b>, and its walls<MH7023> and doors<MH1817>; and he carved<MH6605b> cherubim<MH3742> on the walls<MH7023>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/2_chronicles/3-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>Then he made<MH6213a> the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[j]</a></span>room<MH1004> of the Most<MH6944> Holy<MH6944> Place<MH6944>: its length<MH753> across<MH5921, 6440> the width<MH7341> of the house<MH1004> <i>was</i> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[k]</a></span>twenty<MH6242> cubits<MH520>, and its width<MH7341> <i>was</i> twenty<MH6242> cubits<MH520>; and he overlaid<MH2645> it with fine<MH2896a> gold<MH2091>, <i>amounting</i> to <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[l]</a></span>six<MH8337a> hundred<MH3967> talents<MH3603>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/2_chronicles/3-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>The weight<MH4948> of the nails<MH4548> was fifty<MH2572> shekels<MH8255> of gold<MH2091>.
