在西沙群岛的石屿门北岸的广大礁盘上，有一礁岛，群众称为“银屿”。据说是由于清代在这里拾获许多银而得名的。还有一说是清未有沉船在此，留有银而得名。这个银屿所在的礁盘外文地图上称为：观测滩。银屿是一小沙洲，有草无木，不时有海鸟栖息。海拔只有2米，故高潮时大部分被淹没。该沙洲地形易变。<br />     银屿岛，如海上花园，远处看，视野里出现的是一片蓝绿分隔的海水，和北礁看到的场景差不多这种海水泾渭分明的分界线，是因为清澈的海水深浅不一所致靠近岛屿的地方，水位较浅，因而是翡翠般的绿色，靠近深海的地方，水位较深，因此是墨玉般的蓝色。银屿岛上，白色的沙砾，栗色的礁石，褐色的渔民居所，绿色的波光粼粼。在沙砾堆中，有一些岛上渔民的棚屋，那里有一方石碑，刻着小岛的名字，岛名为“银屿岛”，并非原来以为的“银鱼岛”，意即银色的岛屿来过的人都会发现，这个名字很贴切，尤其是映着岛上北端的一大片碧海银沙如果不是这块石碑提醒，这座小岛就像被整个世界遗忘了一般如同一扇失落的窗，在四面都是海的角落，悄无声息地打开。</span><img 在广阔森屏滩礁盘东南侧，有大点礁形成的小岛即鸭公岛。岛屿多由礁块构成，上生有少数草本植物。岛发育在点礁上，岛四周即为深水区。这种礁体是在泻湖中各自孤立生长的，尤其在“门”的通路上形成，因为在“门” 附近潮流急，风浪大，外海或泻湖内的浮游生物送来亦多。有利于礁头的生长和合并，并形成小岛。鸭公岛即正当银屿门区。岛屿呈新月形，体现出东北风对礁体发育的影响。<br /> <img alt="" 鸭公岛在全富岛东1．5海里处，礁石外水颇深，又无广大礁盘，故水产较少水产以贝类为主，南海特产马蹄螺即产于本岛。该岛因人迹罕到，故有海鸟栖息。但该岛无林木和沙地，海鸟不能常来，只成为海鸟的季节性栖息地。0.01平方公里的鸭公岛，就像一位凌波仙子，亭亭玉立地位于进出西沙永乐群岛的咽喉。这个小岛的特别之处就是没有大大浅浅的礁盘托起，全身是雪白的蚌壳和珊瑚石，独独一个从大海深处探出海面。小岛没有沙滩，离岸不多远就是深海，上岛下岛非常的容易。<br />     鸭公岛的另一个特别之处就是小岛中间有个可随大海一起潮涨潮落的湖，这个晶莹剔透的湖既是小船的避风港，又是渔民存放海蚌收成的很好场所。<br /> <img alt="" src="http://c.cncnimg.cn/038/547/6491_b.jpg" style="height:365px; width:550px" /></span></p> <p 全富岛0.02平方公里。属于西沙群岛，位于南中国海西沙群岛永乐环礁北部，珊瑚岛东北部4.5海里，面积0.02平方公里，为一牛轭形小沙洲，地势地平，平均海拔1米左右。1983年公布名称为“全富岛”。中国渔民俗称“全富峙”、“全富”或“曲手”<br />     全富岛是因为岛区水产丰富而得名：这里珊瑚礁区生物种类丰富，如浅水造礁珊瑚一项，即有56种之多。但是岛屿面积小，东西长360米，南北宽240米。沙堤不宽，因此，本岛淡水含量也不多。北面沙堤高一些，岛南较不明显。本岛海滩岩发育不坚固，可是已能保护沙堤，使沙堤固定。洼地出现在岛的南部，高潮时还可以被海水淹没。本岛地势不高，沙脊出水时也只有l米左右。因而常被人们认为是刚刚出水的新沙洲。<br />
