These cover various topics, including induction, equality, diversity and inclusion opportunities and health and safety.</p> <p>Additional support is offered to those new to Cambridge in the form of the Newcomers and Visiting Scholars Group. It helps newly arrived wives, husbands, partners and families of Visiting Scholars and Senior Members of the University to settle down in Cambridge and gives them an opportunity to meet local people.</p> <p>We welcome and support individuals from under-represented groups and have various staff networks which help us to progress equality; these include the Women's Staff Network, the Disabled Staff Network, the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Staff Network and the LGBT+ Network.
