It was officially listed in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2008, as a traditional folk cultural activity organized by the local Miao people. With the rise of cultural tourism, after 19 years of exploration, the local government has successfully built Miao New-Year into a cultural card that is well-known at home and abroad. During the Miao New-Year period, it has attracted 3.8 million tourists and achieves a win-win situation in the economy and culture. However, tourism development has changed the living environment and living state of the local people. And it is accompanied by changes in the form of the festival, the content of the festival, and the local people’s needs and attitudes to the festival. This paper uses the field investigation method to achieve 410 questionnaires and 35 interviews, exploring the process and the reasons for changes of Leishan Miao New-Year’s cultural function. Among all the functions, the economic function, identity function, and entertainment function have been enhanced, and the marriage and love function has been extended. In the meanwhile, sacrificial function has been weakened. There are some trends in functions. The function of commemorating ancestor and self-entertainment has been changed to entertaining people and economic pursuit. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Miao%20New-Year" title="Miao New-Year">Miao New-Year</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Miao%20nationality" title=" Miao nationality"> Miao nationality</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=festival%20function" title=" festival function"> festival function</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=changes" title=" changes"> changes</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/110630/the-changes-of-functions-of-leishan-miao-new-year-in-southeast-guizhou" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/110630.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">121</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">172</span> Cognitive Benefits of Being Bilingual: The Effect of Language Learning on the Working Memory in Emerging Miao-Mandarin Juveniles in Rural Regions of China</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Peien%20Ma">Peien Ma</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Bilingual effect/advantage theorized the positive effect of being bilingual on general cognitive abilities, but it was unknown which factors tend to modulate these bilingualism effects on working memory capacity. This study imposed empirical field research on a group of low-SES emerging bilinguals, Miao people, in the hill tribes of rural China to investigate whether bilingualism affected their verbal working memory performance. 20 Miao-Chinese bilinguals (13 girls and 7 boys with a mean age of 11.45, SD=1.67) and 20 Chinese monolingual peers (13 girls and 7 boys with a mean age of 11.6, SD=0.68) were recruited. These bilingual and monolingual juveniles, matched on age, sex, socioeconomic status, and educational status, completed a language background questionnaire and a standard forward and backward digit span test adapted from Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Revised (WAIS-R). The results showed that bilinguals earned a significantly higher overall mean score of the task, suggesting the superiority of working memory ability over the monolinguals. And bilingual cognitive benefits were independent of proficiency levels in learners’ two languages. The results suggested that bilingualism enhances working memory in sequential bilinguals from low SES backgrounds and shed light on our understanding of the bilingual advantage from a psychological and social perspective. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=bilingual%20effects" title="bilingual effects">bilingual effects</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=heritage%20language" title=" heritage language"> heritage language</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Miao%2FHmong%20language%20Mandarin" title=" Miao/Hmong language Mandarin"> Miao/Hmong language Mandarin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=working%20memory" title=" working memory"> working memory</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/130579/cognitive-benefits-of-being-bilingual-the-effect-of-language-learning-on-the-working-memory-in-emerging-miao-mandarin-juveniles-in-rural-regions-of-china" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/130579.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">157</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">171</span> Experiences on the Application of WIKI Based Coursework in a Fourth-Year Engineering Module</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=D.%20Hassell">D. The response of students to the use of wiki-based coursework was found to vary based on their experiences and background, with UK students being generally more positive on its application than those in Malaysia. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=engineering%20education" title="engineering education">engineering education</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=student%20differences" title=" student differences"> student differences</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=student%20learning" title=" student learning"> student learning</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=web%20based%20coursework" title=" web based coursework"> web based coursework</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/54160/experiences-on-the-application-of-wiki-based-coursework-in-a-fourth-year-engineering-module" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/54160.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">296</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">170</span> Dancing Calligraphy: An Aesthetic Study of Dancing Ink (2017)</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Chingwen%20Yeh">Chingwen Yeh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Chang%20Ning%20Hung"> Chang Ning Hung</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This paper aims to analysis the aesthetic qualities of Dancing Ink (2017) performed by Miao-Hsuan Dance Group in Taiwan. The premiere was performed at Taichung Seaport Art Center Exhibition Hall Room A, in Taichung Taiwan on March 11th, 2017. What calligraphic elements were applied into the contemporary dance choreography was examed by these authors. Although calligraphy and dance are two different art forms, one can see in Dancing Ink that the beauty of Yin Yang force circling; the flow of Chi from inner meditation to the outer physical action are resonated in both art forms. The aesthetic experience was documented through qualitative research methods. In-depth interviews were conducted within a focus group including the calligrapher, the choreographer, the participated professional dancers and the appreciators. Subject matter, movement qualities, characteristic and meaning are the four main areas of interpretation originated from Janet Adshead’s dance analytical theory. Based on all the research data collection and analysis, this research found: 1) Making invisible spirituality visible in relations to creative process, 2) An artistic symbol that transforms from two-dimensional into three-dimensional generates a new aesthetic value, 3) Choreography and calligraphy require different artistic skills and disciplines but expressed the similar dynamic and rhythm in their movement. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Chi" title="Chi">Chi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Dancing%20Ink" title=" Dancing Ink"> Dancing Ink</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Miao%20Hsuan%20Dance%20Group" title=" Miao Hsuan Dance Group"> Miao Hsuan Dance Group</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yin%20Yang%20force" title=" Yin Yang force"> Yin Yang force</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/71356/dancing-calligraphy-an-aesthetic-study-of-dancing-ink-2017" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/71356.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">405</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">169</span> A Lightweight Pretrained Encrypted Traffic Classification Method with Squeeze-and-Excitation Block and Sharpness-Aware Optimization</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zhiyan%20Meng">Zhiyan Meng</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Dan%20Liu"> Dan Liu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jintao%20Meng"> Jintao Meng</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Dependable encrypted traffic classification is crucial for improving cybersecurity and handling the growing amount of data. Large language models have shown that learning from large datasets can be effective, making pre-trained methods for encrypted traffic classification popular. However, attention-based pre-trained methods face two main issues: their large neural parameters are not suitable for low-computation environments like mobile devices and real-time applications, and they often overfit by getting stuck in local minima. To address these issues, we developed a lightweight transformer model, which reduces the computational parameters through lightweight vocabulary construction and Squeeze-and-Excitation Block. We use sharpness-aware optimization to avoid local minima during pre-training and capture temporal features with relative positional embeddings. Our approach keeps the model's classification accuracy high for downstream tasks. We conducted experiments on four datasets -USTC-TFC2016, VPN 2016, Tor 2016, and CICIOT 2022. Even with fewer than 18 million parameters, our method achieves classification results similar to methods with ten times as many parameters. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sharpness-aware%20optimization" title="sharpness-aware optimization">sharpness-aware optimization</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=encrypted%20traffic%20classification" title=" encrypted traffic classification"> encrypted traffic classification</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=squeeze-and-excitation%20block" title=" squeeze-and-excitation block"> squeeze-and-excitation block</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=pretrained%20model" title=" pretrained model"> pretrained model</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/191101/a-lightweight-pretrained-encrypted-traffic-classification-method-with-squeeze-and-excitation-block-and-sharpness-aware-optimization" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/191101.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">30</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">168</span> Ultra-Wideband Antennas for Ultra-Wideband Communication and Sensing Systems</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Meng%20Miao">Meng Miao</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jeongwoo%20Han"> Jeongwoo Han</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Cam%20Nguyen"> Cam Nguyen</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Ultra-wideband (UWB) time-domain impulse communication and radar systems use ultra-short duration pulses in the sub-nanosecond regime, instead of continuous sinusoidal waves, to transmit information. The pulse directly generates a very wide-band instantaneous signal with various duty cycles depending on specific usages. In UWB systems, the total transmitted power is spread over an extremely wide range of frequencies; the power spectral density is extremely low. This effectively results in extremely small interference to other radio signals while maintains excellent immunity to interference from these signals. UWB devices can therefore work within frequencies already allocated for other radio services, thus helping to maximize this dwindling resource. Therefore, impulse UWB technique is attractive for realizing high-data-rate, short-range communications, ground penetrating radar (GPR), and military radar with relatively low emission power levels. UWB antennas are the key element dictating the transmitted and received pulse shape and amplitude in both time and frequency domain. They should have good impulse response with minimal distortion. To facilitate integration with transmitters and receivers employing microwave integrated circuits, UWB antennas enabling direct integration are preferred. We present the development of two UWB antennas operating from 3.1 to 10.6 GHz and 0.3-6 GHz for UWB systems that provide direct integration with microwave integrated circuits. The operation of these antennas is based on the principle of wave propagation on a non-uniform transmission line. Time-domain EM simulation is conducted to optimize the antenna structures to minimize reflections occurring at the open-end transition. Calculated and measured results of these UWB antennas are presented in both frequency and time domains. The antennas have good time-domain responses. They can transmit and receive pulses effectively with minimum distortion, little ringing, and small reflection, clearly demonstrating the signal fidelity of the antennas in reproducing the waveform of UWB signals which is critical for UWB sensors and communication systems. Good performance together with seamless microwave integrated-circuit integration makes these antennas good candidates not only for UWB applications but also for integration with printed-circuit UWB transmitters and receivers. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=antennas" title="antennas">antennas</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ultra-wideband" title=" ultra-wideband"> ultra-wideband</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=UWB" title=" UWB"> UWB</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=UWB%20communication%20systems" title=" UWB communication systems"> UWB communication systems</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=UWB%20radar%20systems" title=" UWB radar systems"> UWB radar systems</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/53928/ultra-wideband-antennas-for-ultra-wideband-communication-and-sensing-systems" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/53928.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">238</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">167</span> Intellectual Property Protection of CRISPR Related Technologies</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zheng%20Miao">Zheng Miao</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Dennis%20Fernandez"> Dennis Fernandez</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> CRISPR research has the potential to completely transform life science, agriculture, live-stock and the health care industry. During pile installation in soil, a significant amount of excess pore pressure is generated, creating disturbance zones around the pile. The dissipation rate of excess pore pressure is an important factor influencing the pile setup. The paper aims to examine how alterations in parameters within disturbance zones affect the dissipation of excess pore pressure. An axisymmetric FE model is used to simulate pile installation in clay, subsequently consolidation using Plaxis 3D. The influence of disturbed zone on setup is verified, by comparing the parametric studies in uniform field and non-uniform field. Three types of consolidation are employed: consolidation in three directions, vertical consolidation, horizontal consolidation. The results of the parametric study show that the permeability coefficient decreases, soil stiffness decreases, and reference pressure increases in the disturbance zone, resulting in an increase in the dissipation time of excess pore pressure and exhibiting a noticeable threshold phenomenon, which has been commonly overlooked in previous literature. The research in this paper suggests that significant thresholds occur when the coefficient of permeability decreases to half of the original site's value for three-directional and horizontal consolidation within the disturbed zone. Similarly, the threshold for vertical consolidation is observed when the coefficient of permeability decreases to one-fourth of the original site's value. Especially in pile setup research, consolidation is assumed to be horizontal; the study findings suggest that horizontal consolidation has experienced notable alterations as a result of the presence of disturbed zones. Furthermore, the selection of pile installation methods proves to be critical. A nonlinearity excess pore pressure formula is proposed based on cavity expansion theory, which includes the distribution of soil profile modulus with depth. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=pile%20setup" title="pile setup">pile setup</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=threshold%20value%20effect" title=" threshold value effect"> threshold value effect</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=installation%20effects" title=" installation effects"> installation effects</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=uniform%20field" title=" uniform field"> uniform field</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=non-uniform%20field" title=" non-uniform field"> non-uniform field</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/185943/numerical-study-pile-installation-disturbance-zone-effects-on-excess-pore-pressure-dissipation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/185943.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">46</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">152</span> Constructing a Co-Working Innovation Model for Multiple Art Integration: A Case Study of Children's Musical</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nai-Chia%20Chao">Nai-Chia Chao</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Meng-Chi%20Shih"> Meng-Chi Shih</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Under today’s fast technology and massive data era, the working method start to change. It was found that the joints with uniform seam and high tensile strength could be obtained using such a method, while the welding process demanded special welding parameters. Spectrum measurements showed that the Al and Fe atoms diffused more thoroughly at the brazing interface and formed a 3μm-thick intermetallic compound layer at the Al/Fe joints brazed connection interface. Shearing tests indicated that the shearing strength of the Al/Fe welding-brazed joint was 165MPa. The fracture occurred near the melting zone of aluminum alloy, which belonged to the mixed mode with the ductile fracture as the base and the brittle fracture as the supplement. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Al%2FFe%20dissimilar%20metals" title="Al/Fe dissimilar metals">Al/Fe dissimilar metals</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=laser-TIG%20hybrid%20heat%20source" title=" laser-TIG hybrid heat source"> laser-TIG hybrid heat source</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=shearing%20strength" title=" shearing strength"> shearing strength</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=welding-brazing%20method" title=" welding-brazing method"> welding-brazing method</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/17285/laser-tig-welding-brazing-for-dissimilar-metals-between-aluminum-alloy-and-steel" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/17285.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">403</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">150</span> Developing Metaverse Initiatives: Insights from a University Case Study</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jiongbin%20Liu">Jiongbin Liu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=William%20Yeoh"> William Yeoh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shang%20Gao"> Shang Gao</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xiaoliang%20Meng"> Xiaoliang Meng</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yuhan%20Zhu"> Yuhan Zhu</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The metaverse concept has sparked significant interest in both academic and industrial spheres. The optical properties of the Ge1-xMnxTe thin films with different thicknesses are determined by analyzing the transmittance and reflectance data. The energy band gaps of the amorphous Mn-doped GeTe thin films with different thicknesses were calculated. The obtained results demonstrated that the energy band gap values of the amorphous films are quite different and they are dependent on the films thicknesses. The extinction coefficients of amorphous Mn-doped GeTe thin films as function of wavelength for different thicknesses were measured. The results showed that the extinction coefficients of all films are varying inversely with their optical transmission. Moreover, the results emphasis that, not only the microstructure, electrical and magnetic properties of Mn doped GeTe thin films vary with the films thicknesses but also the optical properties differ with the film thickness. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=phase%20change%20magnetic%20materials" title="phase change magnetic materials">phase change magnetic materials</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=transmittance" title=" transmittance"> transmittance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=absorbance" title=" absorbance"> absorbance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=extinction%20coefficients" title=" extinction coefficients"> extinction coefficients</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/48213/the-effect-of-the-deposition-parameters-on-the-microstructural-and-optical-properties-of-mn-doped-gete-chalcogenide-materials" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/48213.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">404</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">148</span> Data Integration with Geographic Information System Tools for Rural Environmental Monitoring</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tamas%20Jancso">Tamas Jancso</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Andrea%20Podor"> Andrea Podor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Eva%20Nagyne%20Hajnal"> Eva Nagyne Hajnal</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Peter%20Udvardy"> Peter Udvardy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Gabor%20Nagy"> Gabor Nagy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Attila%20Varga"> Attila Varga</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Meng%20Qingyan"> Meng Qingyan</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The paper deals with the conditions and circumstances of integration of remotely sensed data for rural environmental monitoring purposes. The Joint profile and microstructure of Ti/Al joints were observed by optical microscopy and SEM and then the structure of the interfacial reaction layers were analyzed in details. It was found that the intermetallic compound layer at the interfacial top is in the form of columnar crystal, which is in short and dense state. A mount of AlTi were observed at the interfacial layer near the Ti base metal while intermetallic compound like Al3Ti、TiSi3 were formed near the Al base metal, and the Al11Ti5 transition phase was found in the center of the interface layer due to the uneven distribution inside the weld pool during the welding process.
