<h4>UK | M&S has set out plans for a future food store at Norwich’s Broadland Gate, subject to planning permission.</h4> <p>In plans submitted to Broadland District Council by developer <a href="http://www.norfolklanddevelopment.co.uk/">Norfolk Land Development</a>, the currently unoccupied Plot 3 at Broadland Gate has been identified as the location for a 2026 opening.</p> <p>The planned 16k sq ft fresh market-style M&S Food would offer customers a range of unbeatable quality and innovative products.</p> <p>From fruit and vegetables sourced from M&S’ 8,000 Select Farm Partners in the UK, with 500 based in Norfolk, to dedicated Flower and Wine Shops and a show-stopping in-store bakery serving delicious, based pastries and signature bread.</p> <p>“As we reshape for growth, we want to open new stores we can be proud of and that deliver the best possible shopping experience for customers. At Broadland Gate, we have the opportunity to create a truly fantastic M&S Food,” said Will Smith, Property Director at M&S.</p> <p>“That means unbeatable products with that touch of M&S magic as well as the quality, service and trusted value our customers expect and deserve. Not only do our plans represent a multi-million-pound investment in Norwich, but the opening would also create 70 new jobs for the local community and more roles during seasonal periods.”</p> <p><a href="https://supermarketnews.co.nz/global/marks-spencer-west-bridgford-reopens/">M&S</a> has currently employed more than 1,300 colleagues across East Anglia and has three existing stores in Norwich: Longwater Retail Park, Sweet Briar Retail Park, and the city centre.</p> <p>“Norfolk Land Development are proud to be working with Marks and Spencer to provide their new store at Broadland Gate. The new store will be an impressive asset to the area, providing the complete range of M&S quality food products,” said Andrew Scales, Director of Norfolk Land Development.</p> <p>“The store will complement the existing developments at Broadland Gate which includes Travis Perkins, Jaguar Land Rover, Lidl & Gridserve, as well as the new Broadland Police Station.”</p> <p>Subject to planning
