<h2>The ROMARIN legacy</h2> <div class="main"> <p>At the time of its introduction in 1991, the “Read-Only-Memory of Madrid Active Registry Information”, or ROMARIN, was the first database to consolidate details of the Madrid Registry’s official register of international applications and registrations.</p> <p>The launch of ROMARIN’s online version in 2004 marked a new era in searching and </div> </div> <h2>Madrid Monitor: simple, streamlined searches</h2> <p>ROMARIN’s retirement paves the way for the newly designed and more streamlined Madrid Monitor, which integrates all the functions of its predecessor and companion tools e-Alert and Realtime status.</p> <p>Developed in-house, this all-in-one monitoring tool allows you to track the current status of all international applications and registrations under the Madrid System, and provides access to the <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20180816095855/http://www.wipo.int/madrid/monitor/en#gazette" target="_blank">WIPO Gazette of International Marks</a>, the official publication of the Madrid System.</p> <p>Madrid Monitor also introduces a number of new features designed with users in mind — making it simpler than ever to browse, filter, save and share over 900,000 trademark records.
