for the devil was a sinner from the beginning, for this purpose the son of God appeared, that he might destroy the works of the devil. <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/1_john/3-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>whosoever is born of God, does not commit sin;
