implant was done in a 66-year-old lady with uveitic glaucoma. Serial IOP measurement was done to assess the efficacy of ologen implant in uveitic glaucoma. The patient had an IOP of 4mmhg day 1 postoperatively and Ologen implant was in place with a well-formed bleb. On follow up patient had an IOP of 14mmhg and unaided visual acuity of 6/12 on day 10 postoperatively. After 12 weeks of Trabeculectomy with Ologen implant, the IOP of the patient was 14 mmHg, the vision was 6/6 with -1.25 DS and -1.25 DC at 90 degrees. Trabeculectomy performed in patients with uveitic glaucoma has a higher chance of failure due to increased inflammation and fibrosis. Trabeculectomy with ologen implant done in a patient of uveitic glaucoma provides excellent postoperative results and the patient has a well-controlled IOP even after 56 weeks of surgery and a best corrected visual acuity of 6/6. Trabeculectomy with the ologen implant is superior to other surgeries in cases of secondary glaucoma with increased inflammation. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=glaucoma%20surgery" title="glaucoma surgery">glaucoma surgery</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ologen%20implant" title=" ologen implant"> ologen implant</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=temporal%20trabeculectomy" title=" temporal trabeculectomy"> temporal trabeculectomy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=uveitic%20glaucoma" title=" uveitic glaucoma"> uveitic glaucoma</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/84549/ologen-collagen-matrix-implant-in-uveitis-induced-glaucoma-with-temporal-trabeculectomy" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/84549.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">216</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">5</span> Rathke鈥檚 Cleft Cyst Presenting as Unilateral Visual Field Defect</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ritesh%20Verma">Ritesh Verma</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Manisha%20Rathi"> Manisha Rathi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Chand%20Singh%20Dhull"> Chand Singh Dhull</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sumit%20Sachdeva"> Sumit Sachdeva</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jitender%20Phogat"> Jitender Phogat</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> A Rathke's cleft cyst is a benign growth found on the pituitary gland in the brain, specifically a fluid-filled cyst in the posterior portion of the anterior pituitary gland. It occurs when the Rathke's pouch does not develop properly and ranges in size from 2 to 40mm in diameter. A 38-year-old male presented to the outpatient department with loss of vision in the inferior quadrant of the left eye since 15 days. Visual acuity was 6/6 in the right eye and 6/9 in the left eye. Visual field analysis by HFA-24-2 revealed an inferior field defect extending to the supero-temporal quadrant in the left eye. MRI brain and orbit was advised to the patient and it revealed a well defined cystic pituitary adenoma indenting left optic nerve near optic chiasm consistent with the diagnosis of Rathke鈥檚 cleft cyst (RCC). The patient was referred to neurosurgery department for further management. Symptoms vary greatly between individuals having RCCs. RCCs can be non-functioning, functioning, or both. Besides headaches, neurocognitive deficits are almost always present but have a high rate of immediate reversal if the cyst is properly treated or drained. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=pituitary%20tumors" title="pituitary tumors">pituitary tumors</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=rathke%E2%80%99s%20cleft%20cyst" title=" rathke鈥檚 cleft cyst"> rathke鈥檚 cleft cyst</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=visual%20field%20defects" title=" visual field defects"> visual field defects</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=vision%20loss" title=" vision loss"> vision loss</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/84547/rathkes-cleft-cyst-presenting-as-unilateral-visual-field-defect" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/84547.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">211</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4</span> Assessment of ATC with Shunt FACTS Devices</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ashwani%20Kumar">Ashwani Kumar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jitender%20Kumar"> Jitender Kumar</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In this paper, an optimal power flow based approach has been applied for multi-transactions deregulated environment for ATC determination with SVC and STATCOM. When a similar object is grouped, this is called the basis of Clustering. There is K number of objects and C number of cluster in to single cluster in which k is always supposed to be less than C having each cluster to be its own centroid but the major problem is how is identify the cluster is correct based on the data. Formulation of the cluster is not a regular task for every tuple of row record or entity but it is done by an iterative process. Each and every record, tuple, entity is checked and examined and similarity dissimilarity is examined. So this iterative process seems to be very lengthy and unable to give optimal output for the cluster and time taken to find the cluster. To overcome the drawback challenge, we are proposing a formula to find the clusters at the run time, so this approach can give us optimal results. The proposed approach uses the Euclidian distance formula as well melanosis to find the minimum distance between slots as technically we called clusters and the same approach we have also applied to Ant Colony Optimization(ACO) algorithm, which results in the production of two and multi-dimensional matrix. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ant%20colony%20optimization" title="ant colony optimization">ant colony optimization</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=data%20clustering" title=" data clustering"> data clustering</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=centroids" title=" centroids"> centroids</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=data%20mining" title=" data mining"> data mining</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=k-means" title=" k-means"> k-means</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/147011/hybridized-approach-for-distance-estimation-using-k-means-clustering" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/147011.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">131</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">2</span> Equipment Donation: A Perspective from a Teaching Tertiary Care Hospital in North India</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jitender%20Sodhi">Jitender Sodhi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shweta%20Talati"> Shweta Talati</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=A.%20K.%20Gupta"> A. These circular transcripts, known as competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs), act as natural sponges for microRNAs (miRNAs), thereby modulating miRNA-mediated regulation of target mRNAs. Here, we utilized in-house RNAseq data from contrasting chickpea genotypes, ICC8397 (high protein content, HPC) and FG212 (low protein content, LPC), employing CIRCExplorer3 and CIRIquant for circRNA detection. Notably, substantial variation was observed in predicted circRNAs (101 and 1276, respectively), potentially attributed to different aligners used. Among these, 26 circRNAs exhibited differential expression, with 67 being common between the two algorithms. Seven circRNAs, including three common to both algorithms, were prioritized for validation. However, only three circRNAs were validated at 30DAP and 40DAP, possibly due to stage-specific expression. We selected the corresponding miRNAs of these circRNA, able to validate four corresponding miRNAs (Ca_Novel_mir_279, Ca_Known_mir_21 (mir396), Ca_Known_mir_11 (mir160), Ca_Novel_mir_37), exhibiting inverse correlation with their respective circRNAs. Integrating parental gene information revealed involvement in seed development, signalling, and plant developmental processes. Notably, a circRNA (NC_021162.1:31313341|31317877) originating from genes LOC101489278 and LOC101488953, encoding Legumin and Legumin A-like seed proteins, displayed consistent high expression across in silico and qRT-PCR analyses. Corresponding miRNAs (Ca_Known_mir_11 and Ca_Novel_mir_37) exhibited contrasting expression patterns, with higher levels in ICC8397. Detailed analysis underscored the circRNAs relevance to seed protein content regulation. Integration of circRNA and miRNA data holds promise for chickpea crop improvement, offering avenues for targeted manipulation to enhance traits crucial for yield and quality, such as seed development and protein content. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=circular%20RNAs" title="circular RNAs">circular RNAs</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=non-coding%20RNAs" title=" non-coding RNAs"> non-coding RNAs</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=miRNAregulation" title=" miRNAregulation"> miRNAregulation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=seed%20protein%20content" title=" seed protein content"> seed protein content</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/198468/exploring-the-potential-of-circrnas-in-shaping-seed-protein-profiles-in-chickpea-genotypes" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/198468.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">4</span> </span> </div> </div> </div> </main> <footer> <div id="infolinks" class="pt-3 pb-2"> <div class="container"> <div style="background-color:#f5f5f5;" class="p-3"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> About <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support">About Us</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support#legal-information">Legal</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/WASET-16th-foundational-anniversary.pdf">WASET celebrates its 16th foundational anniversary</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Account <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile">My Account</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Explore <li><a href="https://waset.org/disciplines">Disciplines</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/conferences">Conferences</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/conference-programs">Conference Program</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/committees">Committees</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org">Publications</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Research <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts">Abstracts</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org">Periodicals</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org/archive">Archive</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Open Science <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Science-Philosophy.pdf">Open Science Philosophy</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Science-Award.pdf">Open Science Award</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Society-Open-Science-and-Open-Innovation.pdf">Open Innovation</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Postdoctoral-Fellowship-Award.pdf">Postdoctoral Fellowship Award</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Scholarly-Research-Review.pdf">Scholarly Research Review</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Support <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support">Support</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile/messages/create">Contact Us</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile/messages/create">Report Abuse</a></li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="container text-center"> <hr style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:.3rem;"> <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" target="_blank" class="text-muted small">Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License</a> <div id="copy" class="mt-2">© 2025 World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology</div> </div> </footer> <a href="javascript:" id="return-to-top"><i class="fas fa-arrow-up"></i></a> <div class="modal" id="modal-template"> <div class="modal-dialog"> <div class="modal-content"> <div class="row m-0 mt-1"> <div class="col-md-12"> <button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-label="Close"><span aria-hidden="true">×</span></button> </div> </div> <div class="modal-body"></div> </div> </div> </div> <script src="https://cdn.waset.org/static/plugins/jquery-3.3.1.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdn.waset.org/static/plugins/bootstrap-4.2.1/js/bootstrap.bundle.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdn.waset.org/static/js/site.js?v=150220211556"></script> <script> jQuery(document).ready(function() { /*jQuery.get("https://publications.waset.org/xhr/user-menu", function (response) { jQuery('#mainNavMenu').append(response);
