Gorelick, MD, </strong>professor of translational science and molecular medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, discusses the results from the FAST-MAG trial, presented at the International Stroke Conference.</p> <p>Researchers evaluated 1,700 patients within 2 hours of stroke onset, who received either 4 mg magnesium in the field and 16 g magnesium infusion over the subsequent 24 hours, or placebo.
