It includes repositories that enable permanent storage of and access to data sets to researchers, funding bodies, publishers, and scholarly institutions. re3data promotes a culture of sharing, increased access and better visibility of research data. </p> <p> The re3data service is free of charge and is provided in all conscience, which is no guarantee for its continuous service availability. The data is backed up regularly, but no warranty is given that all data is accessible under any circumstances. The re3data operator can change the service and data at any time. Please note that the use of re3data does not constitute a legal obligation between you and the operators of the service. </p> <p> re3data stores various data for repositories entered by the respective users to be indexed by the service. The data is publicly available via web interface for human actors and API for machine agents. </p> <p> Users can suggest new repositories to re3data via the suggest form or email and submit change requests for existing entries. The submitted data will be processed and reviewed by the re3data Editorial Board. There is no guarantee for submitted data to be published. Entered data does not constitute a legal obligation between you and the operators of the service. </p> <p> The index information is published by <a href="https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/">CC-0</a> To the extent possible under law, re3data.org has waived all copyright and related or neighboring rights to the database entries of re3data.org.
