And eating it, it will be in my mouth as honey for sweetness.<p> <A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>And he will say to me, Son of man, go; come to the house of Israel and speak my word to them. <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>For not to a people deep of lip and heavy of tongue; thou art sent to the house of Israel; <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>Not to many peoples deep of lip and heavy of tongue which thou wilt not hear their words If to them I sent thee, they will hear to thee. <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>And the house of Israel will not hear to thee; for they are not willing to hear to me: for all the house of Israel are strong of forehead, and they are hard of heart. <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>Behold, I gave thy face strong over against their face, and thy forehead strong over against their forehead. <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>As the diamond strong above the rock I gave thy forehead: thou shalt not fear them, and thou shalt not be terrified from their face, for they are a house of contradiction. <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>And he will say to me, Son of man, all my words which I shall speak to thee take into thy heart, and with thine ears hear thou. <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>And go, come to the captivity, to the sons of my people, and speak to them, and say to them, Thus said the Lord Jehovah; if they will hear, and if they will desist.<p> <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>And the spirit will lift me up, and I shall hear behind me a voice of a great shaking: Praised be the glory of Jehovah from his place. <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>And the voice of the wings of the living creatures, kissing one to the other, and the voice of the wheels over against them, and the voice of a great shaking. <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>And the spirit lifted me up, and it will take me and I shall go bitter, in the heat of my spirit; and the hand of Jehovah was strong upon me. <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>And I shall go to the captivity, the hill of the green ears, those dwelling at the river Chebar, and where they are sitting there, I shall sit there seven days, being astonished in the midst of them.<p> <A name="17"></a><p class="hdg">A Watchman for Israel<p><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>And it will be from the end of seven days, and the word of Jehovah will be to me, saying, <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>Son of man, I gave thee a watchman to the house of Israel: and hear thou the word from my mouth, and admonish them from me. <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>In my saying to the unjust, Dying, thou shalt die; and thou admonished him not, and thou spakest not to admonish the unjust from his way of injustice to preserve him alive; this unjust one shall die in his iniquity, and his blood I will seek from thy hand. <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>And if thou hast admonished the unjust one, and he turned not back from his evil and from his way of injustice; he shall die in his iniquity and thou deliveredst thy soul. <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span>And in the just turning back from his justice and doing evil, and I gave a stumbling-block before his face, he shall die: for thou didst not admonish him, in his sins he shall die, and his justice shall not be remembered which he did; and his blood will I seek from thy hand. <A name="22"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span>And if thou admonishedst the just for the just not to sin, and he sin not, living, he shall live, for he was admonished; and thou didst deliver thy soul.<p> <A name="23"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-22.htm"><b>22</b></a></span>And the hand of Jehovah will be there upon me; and he will say to me, Arise, go forth to the valley, and there I will speak with thee. <A name="24"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-23.htm"><b>23</b></a></span>And I shall arise and go forth to the valley: and behold there the glory of Jehovah stood as the glory which saw by the river Chebar: and I shall fall upon my face. <A name="25"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-24.htm"><b>24</b></a></span>And the spirit will come into me, and will cause me to stand upon my feet, and will speak with me, and my to me, Come in and be shut up in the midst of thy house. <A name="26"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/3-25.htm"><b>25</b></a></span>And thou, son of man;
