Lucey headshot" width="140" height="140" align="right" />Catherine R. Lucey, MD, MACP</h3> <p><a href="https://profiles.ucsf.edu/catherine.lucey" target="_blank">Catherine R. Lucey</a>, a practicing physician and leading national voice on medical school education, <a href="https://www.ucsf.edu/news/2022/11/424196/catherine-lucey-new-ucsf-executive-vice-chancellor-and-provost" target="_blank">took the helm as Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost (EVCP) in January 2023</a>. As EVCP, Dr. Lucey leads both UCSF’s robust research enterprise as well as its highly ranked academic programs, comprising four professional schools and the Graduate Division. She works in close collaboration with the Chancellor and the leadership team to develop and implement campus priorities and vision, maintain the University’s status as an international leader in health sciences education and research, and oversee external partnerships representing UCSF’s best interests across the University of California system, at the UC Office of the President, and beyond. Renowned for her leadership, Dr. Lucey was previously Vice Dean for Education and Executive Vice Dean for the School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine and completed her residency in internal medicine at UCSF.</p> <h3><img style="border: 10px solid white; margin: 10px; float: right;" src="/sites/evcprovost.ucsf.edu/files/alldredge-sm.jpg" alt="Brian Alldredge headshot" width="140" height="140" align="right" />Brian Alldredge, PharmD</h3> <p><a href="http://profiles.ucsf.edu/brian.alldredge" target="_blank">Brian Alldredge</a> is vice provost for academic affairs and leads the <a href="https://facultyacademicaffairs.ucsf.edu/" target="_blank">Office of Faculty and Academic Affairs</a>. He earned his BS in Chemistry from UCLA and his PharmD from UCSF. He is a clinician-educator-researcher with research and clinical interests in epilepsy, seizure emergencies, and pharmacogenomics. He holds joint academic appointments in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, and in the Department of Neurology, School of Medicine. He is responsible for supervision of academic appointment, advancement and review processes; oversight of academic policy development and implementation; and he plays a key role in developing programs for faculty welfare, development and growth.</p> <h3><img style="float: right; border: 10px solid white; margin: 10px;" src="/sites/evcprovost.ucsf.edu/files/blake_sm.jpg" alt="Nicquet Blake headshot" width="140" height="140" align="right" />Nicquet Blake, PhD</h3> <p>Nicquet Blake is vice provost of <a href="https://studentaffairs.ucsf.edu/" target="_blank">Student Academic Affairs</a> and dean of the <a href="https://graduate.ucsf.edu/uc-san-francisco-graduate-division" target="_blank">Graduate Division</a> at UCSF. Collard, MD, MS</h3> <p><a href="https://profiles.ucsf.edu/harold.collard" target="_blank">Harold Collard</a> is the vice chancellor for <a href="https://research.ucsf.edu/" target="_blank">Research</a> at UCSF. In this role, Collard oversees and stewards UCSF’s research mission. Deeply committed to advancing UCSF’s research mission, he previously served as associate vice chancellor of Clinical Research and director of UCSF’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute. <a href="https://chancellor.ucsf.edu/leadership/chancellors-cabinet/harold-collard" target="_blank">Read more about Dr. Collard</a>.</p> <h3><img style="border: 10px solid white; margin: 10px; float: right;" src="/sites/evcprovost.ucsf.edu/files/damiano-sm.jpg" alt="Margaret Damiano headshot" width="140" height="140" align="right" />Margaret Damiano, MBA</h3> <p>Margaret Damiano is associate vice chancellor for Organizational Development and Transformation within the EVCP, overseeing internal organizational improvement, external strategic initiatives, communications, records and affiliation management, and EVCP programmatic units. She works closely with EVCP leadership and stakeholders to drive systems improvement and lead cross-institutional initiatives designed to tackle complex problems. Throughout her 18-year career with UCSF, Margaret has demonstrated a unique ability to bring people together to address a range of important issues, ranging from concerns about Graduate Medical Education work hours to the design, opening, and operational improvement of PRIDE Hall on the ZSFG campus.</p> <h3><img style="float: right; border: 10px solid white; margin: 10px;" src="/sites/evcprovost.ucsf.edu/files/estrada_sm.jpg" alt="Clarice Estrada headshot" width="140" height="140" align="right" />Clarice Estrada, MPA</h3> <p><a href="https://profiles.ucsf.edu/clarice.estrada" target="_blank">Clarice Estrada</a> is associate vice chancellor for EVCP Finance and Administration. With over 20 years of academic administrative operations experience, she oversees overall EVCP organization finance, HR, administration, business analytics, and institutional space. She has served on numerous UCSF and UC systemwide committees, including advisory boards and task forces related to space management, IT, research administration, and academic and staff personnel. Clarice holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco and a BS in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego.</p>  <h3><img style="float: right; border: 10px solid white; margin: 10px;" src="/sites/evcprovost.ucsf.edu/files/shaffer-sm.jpg" alt="Chris Shaffer headshot" width="140" height="140" align="right" />Chris Shaffer, MS</h3> <p><a href="https://profiles.ucsf.edu/chris.shaffer" target="_blank">Chris Shaffer</a> is university librarian, assistant vice chancellor for academic information management, and adjunct professor, Department of Medicine. Previously, he served for nine years as university librarian and associate professor at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). His previous experience includes planning interprofessional education initiatives and working with research offices and Clinical and Translational Science Award centers to develop new library services for researchers.
