The end<MH7093> is coming<MH935> on the four<MH702> corners<MH3671> of the land<MH776>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span>Now<MH6258> the end<MH7093> is upon you, for I will send<MH7971> My anger<MH639> against you; I will judge<MH8199> you according to your ways<MH1870> and <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[b]</a></span>bring<MH5414> all<MH3605> your abominations<MH8441> upon you. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>And My eye<MH5869> will have<MH2347> no<MH3808> pity<MH2347> on you, nor<MH3808> will I spare<MH2550> <i>you,</i> but I will <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[c]</a></span>bring<MH5414> your ways<MH1870> upon you, and your abominations<MH8441> will be among<MH8432> you; then you will know<MH3045> that I am the LORD<MH3068>!’ <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>“This<MH3541> is<MH3541> what<MH3541> the Lord<MH136> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[d]</a></span>GOD<MH3068> says<MH559>: ‘A disaster<MH7463a>, a unique<MH259> disaster<MH7463a>, behold<MH2009>, it is coming<MH935>! <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>An end<MH7093> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[e]</a></span>is coming<MH935>; the end<MH7093> has come<MH935>! It has awakened<MH7019a> against<MH413> you; behold<MH2009>, it has come<MH935>! <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>Your <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[f]</a></span>doom<MH6843> has come<MH935> to you, you inhabitant<MH3427> of the land<MH776>. The time<MH6256> has come<MH935>, the day<MH3117> is near<MH7138>—panic<MH4103> rather<MH3808> than<MH3808> joyful<MH1906> shouting<MH1906> <i>on the</i> mountains<MH2022>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>Now<MH6258> I will shortly<MH4480, 7138> pour<MH8210> out<MH8210> My wrath<MH2534> on you and expend<MH3615> My anger<MH639> against you; I will judge<MH8199> you according to your ways<MH1870> and <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[g]</a></span>bring<MH5414> on you all<MH3605> your abominations<MH8441>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>My eye<MH5869> will have<MH2347> no<MH3808> pity<MH2347> nor<MH3808> will I spare<MH2550> <i>you.</i> I will <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[h]</a></span>repay<MH5414> you according to your ways<MH1870>, while your abominations<MH8441> are in your midst<MH8432>; then you will know<MH3045> that I, the LORD<MH3068>, am striking<MH5221>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>‘Behold<MH2009>, the day<MH3117>! Behold<MH2009>, it is coming<MH935>! <i>Your</i> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[i]</a></span>doom<MH6843> has gone<MH3318> forth<MH3318>; the rod<MH4294> has budded<MH6692a>, arrogance<MH2087> has blossomed<MH6524a>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>Violence<MH2555> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[j]</a></span>has grown<MH6965> into a rod<MH4294> of wickedness<MH7562>. None<MH3808> of them <i>shall remain,</i> none<MH3808> of their <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[k]</a></span>people<MH1995>, none<MH3808> of their wealth<MH1991>, nor<MH3808> <i>anything</i> eminent<MH5089> among them. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>The time<MH6256> has come<MH935>, the day<MH3117> has arrived<MH5060>. Let neither<MH408> the buyer<MH7069> rejoice<MH8055> nor<MH408> the seller<MH4376> mourn<MH56>; for wrath<MH2740> is against<MH413> all<MH3605> their multitude<MH1995>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>Indeed<MH3588>, the seller<MH4376> will not <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[l]</a></span>regain<MH7725> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[m]</a></span>what<MH4465> he sold<MH4465> as long<MH5750> as <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[n]</a></span>they <i>both</i> live<MH2421b, 2425b>; for the vision<MH2377> regarding<MH413> all<MH3605> their multitude<MH1995> will not <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[o]</a></span>be averted<MH7725>, nor<MH3808> will any<MH376> of them maintain<MH2388> his life<MH2421b> by his wrongdoing<MH5771>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>‘They have blown<MH8628> the trumpet<MH8619> and made<MH3559> everything<MH3605> ready<MH3559>, but no<MH369> one<MH369> is going<MH1980> to the battle<MH4421>, for My wrath<MH2740> is against<MH413> all<MH3605> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[p]</a></span>their multitude<MH1995>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>The sword<MH2719> is outside<MH2351> <i>the city</i> and the plague<MH1698> and the famine<MH7458> are within<MH1004>. <i>Anyone</i> who<MH834> is in the field<MH7704> will die<MH4191> by the sword<MH2719>, while famine<MH7458> and the plague<MH1698> will consume<MH398> those in the city<MH5892b>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>Even when their survivors<MH6412a> escape<MH6403>, they will be on the mountains<MH2022> like doves<MH3123> of the valleys<MH1516>, all<MH3605> of them moaning<MH1993>, each<MH376> over his own wrongdoing<MH5771>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>All<MH3605> hands<MH3027> will hang<MH7503> limp<MH7503>, and all<MH3605> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[q]</a></span>knees<MH1290> will drip<MH1980> with water<MH4325>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>They will put<MH2296> on<MH2296> sackcloth<MH8242> and shuddering<MH6427> will overwhelm<MH3680> them; and shame<MH955> <i>will be</i> on all<MH3605> faces<MH6440>, and a <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[r]</a></span>bald<MH7144> patch<MH7144> on all<MH3605> their heads<MH7218>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>They will fling<MH7993> their silver<MH3701> into the streets<MH2351>, and their gold<MH2091> will become<MH1961> an abhorrent<MH5079> thing<MH5079>; their silver<MH3701> and their gold<MH2091> will not be<MH3201> able<MH3201> to save<MH5337> them on the day<MH3117> of the wrath<MH5678> of the LORD<MH3068>. They cannot<MH3808> satisfy<MH7646> their <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[s]</a></span>appetite<MH5315>, nor<MH3808> can they fill<MH4390> their stomachs<MH4578>, because<MH3588> their wrongdoing<MH5771> has become<MH1961> a cause<MH4383> of<MH4383> stumbling<MH4383>. <p class="hdg">The Temple Profaned</p><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span>Moreover, they transformed<MH7760> the splendor<MH6643a> of His jewels<MH5716> into pride<MH1347b>, and they made<MH6213a> the images<MH6754> of their abominations<MH8441> <i>and</i> their detestable<MH8251> things<MH8251> with it; therefore<MH5921, 3651> I will make<MH5414> it an abhorrent<MH5079> thing<MH5079> to them. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span>And I will hand<MH5414, 3027> it over<MH5414> to the foreigners<MH2114a> as plunder<MH957>, and to the wicked<MH7563> of the earth<MH776> as spoils<MH7998>; and they will profane<MH2490c> it. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-22.htm"><b>22</b></a></span>I will also turn<MH5437> My face<MH6440> away<MH5437> from them, and they will profane<MH2490c> My treasure<MH6845>; then robbers<MH6530> will enter<MH935> and profane<MH2490c> it. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-23.htm"><b>23</b></a></span>‘Make<MH6213a> the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[t]</a></span>chain<MH7569>, for the land<MH776> is full<MH4390> of <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[u]</a></span>bloody<MH1818> crimes<MH4941>, and the city<MH5892b> is full<MH4390> of violence<MH2555>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-24.htm"><b>24</b></a></span>Therefore, I will bring<MH935> the worst<MH7451a> of the nations<MH1471>, and they will take<MH3423> possession<MH3423> of their houses<MH1004>. I will also put<MH7673a> an<MH7673a> end<MH7673a> to<MH7673a> the pride<MH1347b> of the strong<MH5794> ones<MH5794>, and their holy<MH4720> places<MH4720> will be profaned<MH2490c>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-25.htm"><b>25</b></a></span>When anguish<MH7089> comes<MH935>, they will seek<MH1245> peace<MH7965>, but there<MH369> will<MH369> be<MH369> none<MH369>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-26.htm"><b>26</b></a></span>Disaster<MH1943> will come<MH935> upon disaster<MH1943> and rumor<MH8052> will be <i>added</i> to rumor<MH8052>; then they will seek<MH1245> a vision<MH2377> from a prophet<MH5030>, but the Law<MH8451> will be lost<MH6> from the priest<MH3548>, and counsel<MH6098> from the elders<MH2205>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/7-27.htm"><b>27</b></a></span>The king<MH4428> will mourn<MH56>, the prince<MH5387a> will be clothed<MH3847> in horror<MH8077>, and the hands<MH3027> of the people<MH5971a> of the land<MH776> will <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[v]</a></span>tremble<MH926>.
