collaboration with Ashui Vietnam Corporation and Minh Long Wood Group Joint Stock Company. The Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 with the theme “Flow” received the Activity nomination at this award.</strong></p> <p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-68329" src="https://tckt.vn/english/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/24A10053-2.jpg" alt="" width="768" height="576" /></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Bui Xuan Phai Award – For the Love of Hanoi was established by the Sports and Culture newspaper and the family of the late artist Bui Xuan Phai in 2008, to award authors, works, ideas, and activities of high scientific and artistic value, imbued with love for Hanoi. The jury of the Award includes prestigious names such as: poet Bang Viet, former Chairman of the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association (Chairman of the Council); historian Duong Trung Quoc, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Historical Association; journalist Ho Quang Loi, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association; journalist Le Xuan Thanh, Editor-in-Chief of the Sports and Culture newspaper; and especially this year, the jury has a new member, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Hoai Son, Standing Member of the National Assembly’s Committee on Culture and Education.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Over 16 seasons, more than 150 authors, works, ideas, and activities have been recognized as official nominations, with nearly 70 awards given, including 15 Grand Prizes awarded to: Hanoi scholar Nguyen Vinh Phuc (2009), writer To Hoai (2010), Professor Phan Huy Le (2011), guitarist Van Vuong (2012), photographer Quang Phung (2013), researcher Vu Tuan San (2014), researcher Giang Quan (2015), photographer Le Vuong (2016), researcher Huu Ngoc (2017), researcher Nguyen Ba Dam (2018), researcher Nguyen Thua Hy (2019), musician Phu Quang (2020), musician Hong Dang (2021), director Tran Van Thuy (2022) and most recently director Dang Nhat Minh (2023).</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The annual award has become a festival to honor individuals and groups who have made great contributions to Hanoi during the year. In this year’s award season, based on a tentative list of 54 nominees, the Jury held 2 meetings to select 9 official nominees. From these 9 nominees, the Jury continued to vote to select 4 awards, including: Grand Prize, Works Prize, Idea Prize, and Activity Prize.</span></p> <h2><b>List of Bui Xuan Phai Awards – For the Love of Hanoi 2024</b></h2> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><b>Grand Prize: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Professor. In 2023, the event had many major breakthroughs in scale and location – when old French architectures such as Hang Dau water tower, Long Bien bridge, Gia Lam train factory… were used and attracted a large number of artists to participate. With the theme “Flow”, taking place with more than 60 cultural activities, 4 architectural introduction works, 20 exhibitions and displays, 19 seminars and talks, including 5 international seminars, 12 art activities, a series of community events, creative fairs…, the festival attracted 200,000 visitors to visit and experience at Gia Lam Train Factory; 30,000 visitors to Hang Dau water tower; 26,000 train tickets were sold for visitors to experience the heritage train route; attracting the response and proactive creation of 1,000 content creators…</span></p> <p><strong>Following the success of the previous 3 Festival seasons, the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024 with the theme “Creative Intersection” will bring the public different experiences, helping the community to appreciate history, appreciate the past and inspire creativity to inherit and continue the creative values that previous generations have built and left behind.
