judges his neighbor, for that in which you judge your neighbor, of that you are guilty yourself, for you also who are judging are engaged in those things.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-2.htm"><b>2</b></a></span><span class="spcl">And we* know that the judgment of God is in truth against those who are engaged in these things.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span><span class="spcl">But why are you thinking, Oh son of man, who are judging those who are occupied in these things, that you will escape from the judgment of God, when you also are engaged in them?</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span><span class="spcl">Or do you presume upon the wealth of his sweetness and upon his patience and upon the place that he gave to you, and do not know that the sweetness of God brings conversion to you? *</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span><span class="spcl">But because of the callousness of your heart which does not repent, you lay up for yourself the treasure of wrath for the day of wrath and the revelation of the just judgment of God,</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span><span class="spcl">He who pays every person according to his works:</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span><span class="spcl">To those who in the patience of good works are seeking glory, honor and indestructibility, he gives eternal life,</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span><span class="spcl">But those who resist and do not obey the truth, but obey evil, he will pay anger and fury,</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span><span class="spcl">Suffering and trouble, to every person who cultivates wickedness, to the Jews first and to the Aramaeans*,</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span><span class="spcl">But glory, honor and peace to everyone who cultivates good, to the Jews first, and to the Aramaeans.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For there is no partiality with God.</span><p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For those who have sinned without The Written Law are also destroyed without The Written Law, and those who sinned with The Written Law will be judged by The Written Law.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span><span class="spcl">The hearers of The Written Law are not righteous ones before God, but the doers of The Written Law are justified.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For if the Gentiles who have not The Written Law would perform those things of The Written Law by their nature, while they have not The Written Law, they would be The Written Law to themselves.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span><span class="spcl">And they show the work of The Written Law written on their heart and their conscience testifies to them, while their reasoning rebukes or defends each one,</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span><span class="spcl">In the day when God judges the secrets of the children of men according to my Gospel, by Yeshua The Messiah.</span><p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span><span class="spcl">But if you are called from the Jews and are comforted by The Written Law and are boasting in God,</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span><span class="spcl">You who know his will and discern what is right, you who are taught from The Written Law,</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span><span class="spcl">And you are confident yourself that you are a leader of the blind and a light of those who are in darkness,</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span><span class="spcl">And an instructor of those lacking understanding and a teacher of children, and you have a model of knowledge and of the truth in The Written Law,</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span><span class="spcl">You therefore who are teaching others, you do not teach yourself. You who are preaching that people should not steal, you are stealing!</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-22.htm"><b>22</b></a></span><span class="spcl">You who say that people should not commit adultery, you commit adultery, and you who despise idols plunder the holy place!</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-23.htm"><b>23</b></a></span><span class="spcl">And you who are boasting in The Written Law, you violate The Written Law, and you insult God himself!</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-24.htm"><b>24</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you, according to what has been written. *</span><p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-25.htm"><b>25</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For circumcision is beneficial, if you will perfectly observe The Written Law, but if you depart from The Written Law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-26.htm"><b>26</b></a></span><span class="spcl">But if he of the uncircumcision will observe the commandments of The Written Law, behold, is not the uncircumcision accounted for circumcision?</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-27.htm"><b>27</b></a></span><span class="spcl">And uncircumcision which by its nature perfectly observes The Written Law will judge you, who with the Scripture and with circumcision, violate The Written Law.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-28.htm"><b>28</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that which is seen in the flesh circumcision.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/2-29.htm"><b>29</b></a></span><span class="spcl">But he is a Jew who is in secret, and circumcision is that which is of the heart, in The Spirit and not by the Scriptures, whose glory is not from the children of men, but from God.</span><p></div></div><div id="botbox"><div class="padbot"><div align="center"><a href="//www.lulu.com/shop/rev-david-bauscher/the-original-aramaic-new-testament-in-plain-english-with-psalms-proverbs-8th-edition-with-notes/hardcover/product-21273790.html">The Original Aramaic New Testament in Plain English- with Psalms & Proverbs<br>Copyright &copy; 2007; 8th edition Copyright &copy; 2013<br>All rights reserved.
