On arrival assistance at airport with our office representative and transfer to the Respective Hotel.<br /> Overnight at Kathmandu.<br /> <br /> <div class="day-title"><strong>Day 02: Kathmandu</strong> </div>Optional Everest Mountain Flight.<br /> <br /> The largest domestic airline, Yeti Airlines regularly conducts a number of flights over the Everest region. These flights are about 50 minutes long and supplies breathtaking views of all the mountain peaks that come under the region of Everest as well as several others. Everest mountain flights are conducted early in the morning between 06.30 and 08.00am. Once the flights take off it can go as high as 25,000 feet! The experience itself is thrilling and worth remembering once you are in the country of the Himalayas. Jetstream-41, the state-of-the art technology based aircraft is used for the flight with guaranteed window seat for all the passengers.<br /> <br /> Breakfast at the Hotel in Kathmandu.<br /> <br /> AM: Half day sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath + Bodhnath with English Speaking Guide.<br /> <br /> PASHUPATINATH<br /> 6kms/4miles from Kathmandu City, Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Baghmati River, the temple built in Pagoda Style has gilded roof and richly carved silver doors. Visitors will be permitted to view the temple from the east bank of River Baghmati, entrance in the temple being strictly forbidden to all non Hindus. <br /> <br /> Pashupatinath is the centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of Shivaratri which falls in the month of February/March. Behind the temples are the cremation grounds. <br /> <br /> BOUDHNATH<br /> This Stupa situated 11km/7 miles from Kathmandu City is one of the biggest in the world of its kind. It stand with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. This Buddhist Stupa was built by King Man Deva at the advice of the Goddess Mani Jogini. It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. The shrine is ringed by houses of Lamas or Buddhist priests.<br /> <br /> PM: Half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City + Swoyambhunath with English Speaking Guide.<br /> <br /> KATHMANDU CITY <br /> Known as Kantipur Nagri, the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal. Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Kashtamandap the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty.<br /> <br /> SWAYAMBHUNATH<br /> Located approximately 4 kms. /2.5 miles, this Buddhist Stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of Copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples.<br /> Overnight at Kathmandu.<br /> <br /> <div class="day-title"><strong>Day 03: Kathmandu</strong> </div>Breakfast at the Hotel. <br /> <br /> AM: - Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur City.<br /> <br /> BHAKTAPUR CITY<br /> As you walk in you cannot but be over come by a feeling of inner harmony. Such is the art and architecture and the special layout here. The 15th century palace of 55 windows, situated to the left as you enter through the city gate, inspire admiration. The National Art gallery is also housed inside. The Palace entrance, the golden gate is a masterpiece in repose art.
