Papers should not exceed 6000 words (abstract and references included). Manuscripts must be sent in digital form (e-mail), saved as Word file (*.doc or *.docx) and corresponding *.pdf. If any special fonts other than Times New Roman are used in the text, they should be attached. Only Unicode fonts are accepted. PEER REVIEWING Manuscripts meeting Journal’s scope are subject to anonymous peer reviewing based on which they are accepted or rejected. Submitting of a manuscript do not guarantee its publication in “Linguistique balkanique”. OFFPRINTS Each author will receive a hard copy of his/her article. Electronic files of articles could be published in personal accounts, social networks, etc. only after the express permission of publishers. MANUSCRIPT ORGANIZATION Manuscripts should begin with the ordered sections: <ul> <li>Author(s )' name(s)</li> <li>Romanized author(s)' names (for publications in Russian)</li> <li>Title</li> <li>Title in English (for publications in German, French, or Russian)</li> <li>Abstract in English</li> <li>Keywords in English</li> </ul> and end with the sections of: <ul> <li>Acknowledgments </li> <li>Notes </li> <li>References </li> <li>Abbreviations </li> <li>Author’s affiliation </li> </ul> The title page should begin as follows: All author names should be listed in the following order: <ul> <li>First name(s), </li> <li>Middle name(s) (if used), and </li> <li>Last name(s) (surname, family name)</li> <li>Title</li> <li>Romanized author(s)' names (for publications in Russian)</li> <li>Title in English (for publications in German, French, or Russian)</li> <li>Abstract in English (up to 350 words)</li> </ul> Describes the main objective(s) of the study Summarizes the most important results and their significance <ul> <li>Keywords in English (up to 6 ) </li> </ul> Tables and charts Tables, charts and figures should be numbered and included in the text at the place where they are mentioned for the first time and not separately at the end of the text. Notes: Endnotes should be used rather than footnotes (font size 10). In-text citation: NB! Please do not use footnotes for references! Use author’s last name and year of publication in parentheses as follows: The entire work: One such example is Dan Dana’s analysis of the heritage of Zalmoxis (Dana 2008). When Romanizing Cyrillic or Greek, follow the local standards for Romanization of Bulgarian<a class="sdfootnoteanc" href="#sdfootnote1sym" name="sdfootnote1anc">1</a>, Russian, Ukrainian, Greek etc. Both languages shared the devoicing of the PIE glottalic stops (Дуриданов / Duridanov 1976: 101). If the author is not known, use the title and the date as the in-text citation (for long titles just use the first few words). Your in-text citation should lead your reader to the corresponding entry in the reference list. References: References should be grouped in alphabet order (Latin, Cyrillic, Greek).
