<A name="7"></a><p class="indent1stline"><span class="reftext"><a href="/jeremiah/47-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>‘Alas, O sword of the LORD, <p class="indent2"> how long until you rest? <p class="indent1"> Return to your sheath; <p class="indent2"> cease and be still!’ <p class="indent1stline"><span class="reftext"><a href="/jeremiah/47-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>How can it rest <p class="indent2"> when the LORD has commanded it?
