valign="top"><p><strong class="paraboldcolourtext">Discovering the WTO</strong></p> <p><strong>Guided tours of the WTO building and its artwork <br> </strong>Tours of the building and its works of art will be organized throughout the day. They will include visits to the office of the Director-General and the WTO library. WTO staff will act as tour guides. Tours will take place at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. Each tour lasts a minimum of one hour.</p> <p><strong>WTO cinema:</strong> Visitors are invited to discover the WTO through short films which will be shown in Room B.</p> <p><strong>The history of the WTO building:</strong> Photos of how the WTO building has evolved from 1926 to 2015 will be on display in the lobby area outside the Council Room.</p> <p><strong>20 years of WTO history in photos:</strong> Photos of major events in the history of the WTO will be displayed in the WTO Atrium. </p> <p><strong>Exhibition</strong>: An exhibition on the role of law in the WTO system and on the accession process for countries wishing to join the WTO will be open to visitors in the WTO's new South Building. </p> <p><strong>Interactive screens:</strong> Interactive touch screens will display photos and videos depicting the work of the WTO and showing its membership.  </p> <p><strong>WTO South Building:</strong> Visitors will have the chance to discover the WTO's new South Building and to learn about how this environmentally friendly building was constructed. </p> <p><strong>Interpretation:</strong> Members of the public will be able to try out what it feels like to work as an interpreter at the WTO through sessions held in Room W at 12pm, 2 pm and 4 pm. </p> <p><strong>Food and drink stalls</strong>: Stalls providing food and drink from around the world will be situated on the terrace overlooking the lake. The refreshments will be provided by WTO members and will be available throughout the day. There will also be stalls offering food and drink contributed by WTO staff members.</p> <p><strong>Activities for children</strong> <br> A range of activities for children will be on offer to entertain our younger visitors. This includes a story teller, face-painting and a bouncy castle. </p> <p><strong>WTO Human Resources:</strong> WTO staff will explain how the WTO recruits staff and what types of jobs are undertaken at the WTO.
