class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Wandering spleen is a rare variant where there is abnormal development of the ligamentous peritoneal attachments of the spleen which normally anchor it in the left upper quadrant of the abdomen. Ligamentous abnormalities can be congenital, or acquired through pregnancy, injury, or iatrogenic causes. Absence or laxity of these ligaments allows migration of the spleen into ectopic portions of the abdomen, which is also associated with an elongated vascular pedicle. Incidence of wandering spleen is reported at less than 0.25% with a female to male ratio of approximately 6:1. The most common complication of a wandering spleen is torsion around its vascular pedicle which can lead to thrombosis and infarction. Torsion of a wandering spleen is a rare but important cause of an acute abdomen. Imaging, and specifically CT or ultrasound, is crucial in the diagnosis. We present a case of a torsed wandering spleen which was treated with splenectomy. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Wandering%20Spleen" title="Wandering Spleen">Wandering Spleen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Torsion" title=" Torsion"> Torsion</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Splenic%20Torsion" title=" Splenic Torsion"> Splenic Torsion</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Spleen" title=" Spleen"> Spleen</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/162557/a-rare-case-report-of-wandering-spleen-torsion" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/162557.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">81</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">146</span> The Roots of the Robust and Looting Economy (poverty and inequality) in Iran after the 1979 Revolution, From the Perspective of Acem Oglu &amp; Robinson theory</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Vorya%20Shabrandi">Vorya Shabrandi</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The study factors of poverty and inequality causes in countries is the subject of many scholars and economists in the last century, theorists in various areas of economic science know different factors as the roots of poverty and inequality in Iran after the 1979 revolution. Economists have emphasized political elements and political scientists on political elements. This research reviews the political economy of poverty and corruption in Iran after the revolution. The findings of this research, based on AcemOgluand Robinson theory, show how the institutional structural dependence of Iran's economy to raw has led to the growth of its non-economic economic institutions and its consequence of the continuity of the release and looting economy and poverty and inequality in Iran's political economy Is. This research was carried out using descriptive-analytical and comparative methods. Many economists try to justify the conditions of the country based on war, sanctions; And the external factors, and ... knows. In this study, we tried to examine the roots of poverty and the looting economy of Iran by implementing Research AcemOgluand Robinson on the institutions and roots of poverty. Looking for a framework for understanding why countries, such as Iran, the reason for the difference in revenue in different countries, as well as the poor or wealth of countries, regardless of the non-effective and non-professional institutions, and why inefficient institutions in some countries, such as Iran, such as Iran It remains and does not have a voluntary political powers to change these institutions. Findings The research shows that institutions are broadly the main reason for the roots of the robust and looting economy (poverty and inequality) in Iran. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Iran" title="Iran">Iran</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=plunderable%20%28Loot%29%20economy" title=" plunderable (Loot) economy"> plunderable (Loot) economy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=raw%20shopping" title=" raw shopping"> raw shopping</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=poverty%20and%20inequality" title=" poverty and inequality"> poverty and inequality</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=acem%20oglu%20and%20robinson" title=" acem oglu and robinson"> acem oglu and robinson</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=non-inclusive%20institutions" title=" non-inclusive institutions"> non-inclusive institutions</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/140888/the-roots-of-the-robust-and-looting-economy-poverty-and-inequality-in-iran-after-the-1979-revolution-from-the-perspective-of-acem-oglu-robinson-theory" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/140888.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">140</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">145</span> Cardiopulmonary Disease in Bipolar Disorder Patient with History of SJS: Evidence Based Case Report</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zuhrotun%20Ulya">Zuhrotun Ulya</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muchammad%20Syamsulhadi"> Muchammad Syamsulhadi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Debree%20Septiawan"> Debree Septiawan</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Patients with bipolar disorder are three times more likely to suffer cardiovascular disorders than the general population, which will influence their level of morbidity and rate of mortality. Bipolar disorder also affects the pulmonary system. The choice of long term-monotherapy and other combinative therapies have clinical impacts on patients. This study investigates the case of a woman who has been suffering from bipolar disorder for 16 years, and who has a history of Steven Johnson Syndrome. At present she is suffering also from cardiovascular and pulmonary disorder. An analysis of the results of this study suggests that there is a relationship between cardiovascular disorder, drug therapies, Steven Johnson Syndrome and mood stabilizer obtained from the PubMed, Cochrane, Medline, and ProQuest (publications between 2005 and 2015). Combination therapy with mood stabilizer is recommended for patients who do not have side effect histories from these drugs. The replacement drugs and combinations may be applied, especially for those with bipolar disorders, and the combination between atypical antipsychotic groups and mood stabilizers is often made. Clinicians, however, should be careful with the patients&rsquo; physical and metabolic changes, especially those who have experienced long-term therapy and who showed a history of Steven Johnson Syndrome (for which clinicians probably prescribed one type of medicine). <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cardiopulmonary%20disease" title="cardiopulmonary disease">cardiopulmonary disease</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=bipolar%20disorder" title=" bipolar disorder"> bipolar disorder</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=SJS" title=" SJS"> SJS</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=therapy" title=" therapy"> therapy</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/48864/cardiopulmonary-disease-in-bipolar-disorder-patient-with-history-of-sjs-evidence-based-case-report" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/48864.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">430</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">144</span> Chromium-Leaching Study of Cements in Various Environments </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Adriana%20Estokova">Adriana Estokova</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lenka%20Palascakova"> Lenka Palascakova</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Martina%20Kovalcikova"> Martina Kovalcikova</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Cement is a basic material used for building construction. Chromium as an indelible non-volatile trace element of raw materials occurs in cement clinker in the trivalent or hexavalent form. Hexavalent form of chromium is harmful and allergenic having very high water solubility and thus can easily come into contact with the human skin. The paper is aimed at analyzing the content of total chromium in Portland cements and leaching rate of hexavalent chromium in various leachants: Deionized water, Britton-Robinson buffer, used to simulate the natural environment, and hydrochloric acid (HCl). The concentration of total chromium in Portland cement samples was in a range from 173.2 to 218.5 mg/kg. The content of dissolved hexavalent chromium ranged 0.23-3.19, 2.0-5.78 and 8.88-16.25 mg/kg in deionized water, Britton-Robinson solution and hydrochloric acid, respectively. The calculated leachable fraction of Cr(VI) from cement samples was observed in the range 0.1--7.58 %. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=environment" title="environment">environment</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cement" title=" cement"> cement</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=chromium" title=" chromium"> chromium</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=leaching" title=" leaching"> leaching</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/45262/chromium-leaching-study-of-cements-in-various-environments" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/45262.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">277</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">143</span> Assessment of Carbon Dioxide Separation by Amine Solutions Using Electrolyte Non-Random Two-Liquid and Peng-Robinson Models: Carbon Dioxide Absorption Efficiency </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Arash%20Esmaeili">Arash Esmaeili</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zhibang%20Liu"> Zhibang Liu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yang%20Xiang"> Yang Xiang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jimmy%20Yun"> Jimmy Yun</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lei%20Shao"> Lei Shao</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> A high pressure carbon dioxide (CO<sub>2</sub>) absorption from a specific gas in a conventional column has been evaluated by the Aspen HYSYS simulator using a wide range of single absorbents and blended solutions to estimate the outlet CO<sub>2</sub> concentration, absorption efficiency and CO<sub>2</sub> loading to choose the most proper solution in terms of CO<sub>2 </sub>capture for environmental concerns. The first method involves the Peng-Robinson (PR) Equation of State (EoS) with the conventional mixing rule of Van der Waals. The second approach involves the PR EOS together with the Wong Sandler (WS) mixing rule, coupled with the Uniquac Ge model. In order to model the bubble point pressures with this approach, the volume and area parameter for ethyl palmitate were estimated by the Hansen group contribution method. The last method involved the Peng-Robinson, combined with the Wong-Sandler Method, but using NRTL as the GE model. Results using the Van der Waals mixing rule clearly indicated that this method has the largest errors among all three methods, with errors in the range of 3.96–6.22 %. The Pr-Ws-Uniquac method exhibited small errors, with average absolute deviations between 0.95 to 1.97 percent. The Pr-Ws-Nrtl method led to the least errors where average absolute deviations ranged between 0.65-1.7%. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=bubble%20pressure" title="bubble pressure">bubble pressure</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Gibbs%20excess%20energy%20model" title=" Gibbs excess energy model"> Gibbs excess energy model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=mixing%20rule" title=" mixing rule"> mixing rule</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=CO2%20solubility" title=" CO2 solubility"> CO2 solubility</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ethyl%20palmitate" title=" ethyl palmitate"> ethyl palmitate</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/2308/bubble-point-pressures-of-co2ethyl-palmitate-by-a-cubic-equation-of-state-and-the-wong-sandler-mixing-rule" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/2308.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">474</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">141</span> Early Vasopressor and De-resuscitation in Steven Johnson Syndrome with Septic Shock: A Case Report</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Darma%20Putra%20Sitepu">Darma Putra Sitepu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Dewi%20Larasati">Dewi Larasati</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yohanes%20Wolter%20Hendrik%20George">Yohanes Wolter Hendrik George</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Sepsis is a life-threatening medical emergency frequently observed in intensive care unit (ICU). Surviving Sepsis Campaign in 2018 has recommended the administration of early vasopressor in the first hour of sepsis or septic shock but has not yet included de-resuscitation protocol. De-resuscitation in acute management of septic shock is where patient received active removal of accumulated fluid. It has been proposed by some studies and ongoing clinical trials. Here we present a case with early vasopressor and de-resuscitation. Male, 27 years old presenting to the emergency room with shortness of breath, altered mental status, and widespread blisters on his body and lips started a few hours prior, after receiving non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug through intravenous injection. Patient was hypotensive, tachycardic, and tachypneic at admission, diagnosed with Steven Johnson Syndrome with Septic Shock. Patient received fluid resuscitation, early vasopressor, and diuresis agent aimed to actively remove fluid after the initial phase of resuscitation. Patient was admitted to ICU and progressively recovering. At day-10, patient was stabilized and was transferred to general ward. Early vasopressor and de-resuscitation are beneficial for the patient. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sepsis" title="sepsis">sepsis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=shock" title="shock">shock</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=de-resuscitation" title="de-resuscitation">de-resuscitation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=vasopressor" title="vasopressor">vasopressor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fluid" title="fluid">fluid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=case%20report" title="case report">case report</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/148514/early-vasopressor-and-de-resuscitation-in-steven-johnson-syndrome-with-septic-shock-a-case-report" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/148514.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">167</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">140</span> Simulation and Assessment of Carbon Dioxide Separation by Piperazine Blended Solutions Using E-NRTL and Peng-Robinson Models: Study of Regeneration Heat Duty</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Arash%20Esmaeili">Arash Esmaeili</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zhibang%20Liu"> Zhibang Liu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yang%20Xiang"> Yang Xiang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jimmy%20Yun"> Jimmy Yun</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lei%20Shao"> Lei Shao</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> A high-pressure carbon dioxide (CO₂) absorption from a specific off-gas in a conventional column has been evaluated for the environmental concerns by the Aspen HYSYS simulator using a wide range of single absorbents and piperazine (PZ) blended solutions to estimate the outlet CO₂ concentration, CO₂ loading, reboiler power supply, and regeneration heat duty to choose the most efficient solution in terms of CO₂ removal and required heat duty. The blended amine solutions with the lowest PZ concentrations (5wt% and 10wt%) were considered and compared to reduce the cost of the process, among which the blended solution of 10wt%PZ+35wt%MDEA (methyldiethanolamine) was found as the most appropriate solution in terms of CO₂ content in the outlet gas, rich-CO₂ loading, and regeneration heat duty. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=absorption" title="absorption">absorption</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=amine%20solutions" title=" amine solutions"> amine solutions</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=aspen%20HYSYS" title=" aspen HYSYS"> aspen HYSYS</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=CO%E2%82%82%20loading" title=" CO₂ loading"> CO₂ loading</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=piperazine" title=" piperazine"> piperazine</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=regeneration%20heat%20duty" title=" regeneration heat duty"> regeneration heat duty</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/128137/simulation-and-assessment-of-carbon-dioxide-separation-by-piperazine-blended-solutions-using-e-nrtl-and-peng-robinson-models-study-of-regeneration-heat-duty" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/128137.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">188</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">139</span> Exergy Analysis of a Vapor Absorption Refrigeration System Using Carbon Dioxide as Refrigerant</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Samsher%20Gautam">Samsher Gautam</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Apoorva%20Roy"> Apoorva Roy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bhuvan%20Aggarwal"> Bhuvan Aggarwal</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Vapor absorption refrigeration systems can replace vapor compression systems in many applications as they can operate on a low-grade heat source and are environment-friendly. Widely used refrigerants such as CFCs and HFCs cause significant global warming. Natural refrigerants can be an alternative to them, among which carbon dioxide is promising for use in automotive air conditioning systems. Its inherent safety, ability to withstand high pressure and high heat transfer coefficient coupled with easy availability make it a likely choice for refrigerant. Various properties of the ionic liquid [bmim][PF₆], such as non-toxicity, stability over a wide temperature range and ability to dissolve gases like carbon dioxide, make it a suitable absorbent for a vapor absorption refrigeration system. In this paper, an absorption chiller consisting of a generator, condenser, evaporator and absorber was studied at an operating temperature of 70⁰C. A thermodynamic model was set up using the Peng-Robinson equations of state to predict the behavior of the refrigerant and absorbent pair at different points in the system. A MATLAB code was used to obtain the values of enthalpy and entropy at selected points in the system. The exergy destruction in each component and exergetic coefficient of performance (ECOP) of the system were calculated by performing an exergy analysis based on the second law of thermodynamics. Graphs were plotted between varying operating conditions and the ECOP obtained in each case. The effect of every component on the ECOP was examined. The exergetic coefficient of performance was found to be lesser than the coefficient of performance based on the first law of thermodynamics. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=%5Bbmim%5D%5BPF%E2%82%86%5D%20as%20absorbent" title="[bmim][PF₆] as absorbent">[bmim][PF₆] as absorbent</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=carbon%20dioxide%20as%20refrigerant" title=" carbon dioxide as refrigerant"> carbon dioxide as refrigerant</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=exergy%20analysis" title=" exergy analysis"> exergy analysis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Peng-Robinson%20equations%20of%20state" title=" Peng-Robinson equations of state"> Peng-Robinson equations of state</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=vapor%20absorption%20refrigeration" title=" vapor absorption refrigeration"> vapor absorption refrigeration</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/73396/exergy-analysis-of-a-vapor-absorption-refrigeration-system-using-carbon-dioxide-as-refrigerant" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/73396.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">287</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">138</span> The Politics of Hope in Climate Change Fiction</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Naima%20Bilal">Naima Bilal</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The contemporary Anthropocene novel, with all the atrocities, man-made and inflicted by Nature (and Supernature), differs from the Horror novel in one main characteristic, that being naively lingering to hope and the notion that all evils, days and people come to an end. As a result, They often show poor accuracy in the region near and above the critical point. In this study, the performance of the renowned Peng-Robinson (PR) and Patel-Teja (PT) EoS’s around the critical area has been examined against the P-v-T data of water. Both of them display large deviations at critical point. For instance, PR-EoS exhibits discrepancies as high as 47% for the specific volume, 28% for the enthalpy departure and 43% for the entropy departure at critical point. It is shown that incorporating P-v-T data of the supercritical region into the retuning of a cubic EoS can improve its performance above the critical point dramatically. Adopting a retuned acentric factor of 0.5491 instead of its genuine value of 0.344 for water in PR-EoS and a new F of 0.8854 instead of its original value of 0.6898 for water in PT-EoS reduces the discrepancies to about one third or less. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=equation%20of%20state" title="equation of state">equation of state</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=EoS" title=" EoS"> EoS</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=supercritical%20water" title=" supercritical water"> supercritical water</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=SCW" title=" SCW"> SCW</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/2129/tuning-cubic-equations-of-state-for-supercritical-water-applications" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/2129.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">535</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">135</span> The Locus of Action - Tinted Windows</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Devleminck%20Steven">Devleminck Steven</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Debackere%20Boris"> Debackere Boris</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This research is about the ways artists and scientists deal with (and endure) new meaning and comprehend and construct the world. The project reflects on the intense connection between comprehension and construction and their place of creation – the ‘locus of action’. It seeks to define a liquid form of understanding and analysis capable of approaching our complex liquid world as discussed by Zygmunt Bauman. The aim is to establish a multi-viewpoint theoretical approach based on the dynamic concept of the Flâneur as introduced by Baudelaire, replacing single viewpoint categorization. This is coupled with the concept of thickening as proposed by Clifford Geertz with its implication of interaction between multi-layers of meaning. Here walking and looking is introduced as a method or strategy, a model or map, providing a framework of understanding in conditions of hybridity and change. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=action" title="action">action</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=art" title=" art"> art</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=liquid" title=" liquid"> liquid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=locus" title=" locus"> locus</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=negotiation" title=" negotiation"> negotiation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=place" title=" place"> place</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=science" title=" science"> science</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/24971/the-locus-of-action-tinted-windows" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/24971.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">281</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">134</span> Erythema Multiforme Exudativum Major Caused by Isoniazid Hypersensitivity in a Child</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Azwin%20Lubis">Azwin Lubis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Rika%20Hapsari"> Rika Hapsari</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zahrah%20Hikmah"> Zahrah Hikmah</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Anang%20Endaryanto"> Anang Endaryanto</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ariyanto%20Harsono"> Ariyanto Harsono</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Erythema Multiforme Exudativum Major (EMEM) is one of the drug allergy diseases. Condensation process during cell division maintains structural and functional organizations of chromosomes by transferring genetic information correctly to daughter cells. Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM) technique measures the fluorescence decay of fixed human chromosomes by calculating the lifetime of fluorophores at a pixel x of the arrival of each photon as a function of time delay t, following excitation with a laser pulse. Fixed metaphase human chromosomes were labelled with DNA-binding dye, DAPI and later DAPI fluorescence lifetime measured using multiphoton microscopy. 5 out of 23 pairs of human chromosomes shown shorter lifetime at the centromere region, differentiating proportion of compaction along the length of chromosomes. This qualitative study explored small business failure by comparing the experiences of small-business owners to understand their involvement with leadership during the early stages of the business, and the impact of this on the firms’ ability to survive. Participants’ experiences from two groups were compared to glean an understanding of the leadership process, how leadership differs between the groups, and to see what themes or constructs emerged that could help to explain the high failure rate. Leadership was perceived to be important when envisioning a path for the future and when providing a platform for employees to succeed. Those who embraced leadership as a skillset were more likely to get through the challenges of the early developmental years while those ignoring the importance of leadership were more likely to close prematurely. These findings suggest a disconnect with regards to the understanding, role, and benefits of leadership in small organizations, particularly young organizations in the early stages of development. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=leadership" title="leadership">leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=small%20business" title=" small business"> small business</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=entrepreneurship" title=" entrepreneurship"> entrepreneurship</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=success" title=" success"> success</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=failure" title=" failure"> failure</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/83853/a-study-of-small-business-failure-impact-of-leadership-and-the-leadership-process" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/83853.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">251</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">126</span> Thermodynamics of Aqueous Solutions of Organic Molecule and Electrolyte: Use Cloud Point to Obtain Better Estimates of Thermodynamic Parameters </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jyoti%20Sahu">Jyoti Sahu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Vinay%20A.%20Juvekar"> Vinay A. Juvekar</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Electrolytes are often used to bring about salting-in and salting-out of organic molecules and polymers (e.g. polyethylene glycols/proteins) from the aqueous solutions. For quantification of these phenomena, a thermodynamic model which can accurately predict activity coefficient of electrolyte as a function of temperature is needed. The thermodynamics models available in the literature contain a large number of empirical parameters. These parameters are estimated using lower/upper critical solution temperature of the solution in the electrolyte/organic molecule at different temperatures. Since the number of parameters is large, inaccuracy can bethe creep in during their estimation, which can affect the reliability of prediction beyond the range in which these parameters are estimated. Cloud point of solution is related to its free energy through temperature and composition derivative. Hence, the Cloud point measurement can be used for accurate estimation of the temperature and composition dependence of parameters in the model for free energy. Hence, if we use a two pronged procedure in which we first use cloud point of solution to estimate some of the parameters of the thermodynamic model and determine the rest using osmotic coefficient data, we gain on two counts. First, since the parameters, estimated in each of the two steps, are fewer, we achieve higher accuracy of estimation. The second and more important gain is that the resulting model parameters are more sensitive to temperature. This is crucial when we wish to use the model outside temperatures window within which the parameter estimation is sought. The focus of the present work is to prove this proposition. We have used electrolyte (NaCl/Na2CO3)-water-organic molecule (Iso-propanol/ethanol) as the model system. The model of Robinson-Stokes-Glukauf is modified by incorporating the temperature dependent Flory-Huggins interaction parameters. The Helmholtz free energy expression contains, in addition to electrostatic and translational entropic contributions, three Flory-Huggins pairwise interaction contributions viz., and (w-water, p-polymer, s-salt). These parameters depend both on temperature and concentrations. The concentration dependence is expressed in the form of a quadratic expression involving the volume fractions of the interacting species. The temperature dependence is expressed in the form .To obtain the temperature-dependent interaction parameters for organic molecule-water and electrolyte-water systems, Critical solution temperature of electrolyte -water-organic molecules is measured using cloud point measuring apparatus The temperature and composition dependent interaction parameters for electrolyte-water-organic molecule are estimated through measurement of cloud point of solution. The model is used to estimate critical solution temperature (CST) of electrolyte water-organic molecules solution. We have experimentally determined the critical solution temperature of different compositions of electrolyte-water-organic molecule solution and compared the results with the estimates based on our model. The two sets of values show good agreement. On the other hand when only osmotic coefficients are used for estimation of the free energy model, CST predicted using the resulting model show poor agreement with the experiments. Thus, the importance of the CST data in the estimation of parameters of the thermodynamic model is confirmed through this work. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=concentrated%20electrolytes" title="concentrated electrolytes">concentrated electrolytes</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Debye-H%C3%BCckel%20theory" title=" Debye-Hückel theory"> Debye-Hückel theory</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=interaction%20parameters" title=" interaction parameters"> interaction parameters</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Robinson-Stokes-Glueckauf%20model" title=" Robinson-Stokes-Glueckauf model"> Robinson-Stokes-Glueckauf model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Flory-Huggins%20model" title=" Flory-Huggins model"> Flory-Huggins model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=critical%20solution%20temperature" title=" critical solution temperature"> critical solution temperature</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/34510/thermodynamics-of-aqueous-solutions-of-organic-molecule-and-electrolyte-use-cloud-point-to-obtain-better-estimates-of-thermodynamic-parameters" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/34510.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">391</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">125</span> Running Head: Psychological Inflexibility and Distress</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Steven%20M.%20Sanders">Steven M. A potential risk factor for the development of mental health concerns (i.e., depression & anxiety), particularly in Black veterans, is psychological inflexibility. Psychological inflexibility, a component of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), is a process by which behavior is expressed in ways that attempt to control emotional and psychological reactions to uncomfortable stimuli and situations rather than by direct contingencies or personal values. The present study explored the relationship between psychological inflexibility, symptoms of depression, and symptoms of anxiety in a sample of 131 Black veterans. Results demonstrated that Black veterans who endorsed psychological inflexibility also endorsed higher levels of both depression and anxiety symptomology. These findings indicate the deleterious consequences of experiencing psychological inflexibility, which could be treated through ACT. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=psychological%20flexibility" title="psychological flexibility">psychological flexibility</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=veteran" title=" veteran"> veteran</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=black" title=" black"> black</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=psychological%20distress" title=" psychological distress"> psychological distress</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/155122/running-head-psychological-inflexibility-and-distress" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/155122.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">130</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">124</span> Logistics Hub Location and Scheduling Model for Urban Last-Mile Deliveries</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Anastasios%20Charisis">Anastasios Charisis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Evangelos%20Kaisar"> Evangelos Kaisar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Steven%20Spana"> Steven Spana</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lili%20Du"> Lili Du</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Logistics play a vital role in the prosperity of today’s cities, but current urban logistics practices are proving problematic, causing negative effects such as traffic congestion and environmental impacts. A mathematical model for selecting the locations of hubs and allocating customers, while also scheduling the optimal times during the day for leasing hubs is developed. The data that are used to test if there is any change in the KSE market performance are the daily indices for the period from the 25th of April 2016 till the 24th of October 2016 (after privatization) and a similar six months period before the date of the privatization from the 24th of October 2015 till the 24th of April 2016. In addition, as a control, the study included a period that is a period parallel to the six months period after the privatization. The results indicate that privatization is associated with lower variability for the majority of variables, but that the observed switch in slope direction is not actually a product of privatization, but rather one of serial correlation. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=privatization" title="privatization">privatization</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Kuwait%20stock%20exchange%20%28KSE%29" title=" Kuwait stock exchange (KSE)"> Kuwait stock exchange (KSE)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=market%20capitalization%20%28MCAP%29" title=" market capitalization (MCAP)"> market capitalization (MCAP)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=capital%20markets%20authority%20%28CMA%29" title=" capital markets authority (CMA)"> capital markets authority (CMA)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Boursa%20Kuwait%20securities%20company%20%28BKSC%29" title=" Boursa Kuwait securities company (BKSC)"> Boursa Kuwait securities company (BKSC)</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/62593/measuring-the-effect-of-the-privatization-of-the-kuwait-stock-exchange-on-its-performance" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/62593.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">297</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">122</span> Aspen Plus Simulation of Saponification of Ethyl Acetate in the Presence of Sodium Hydroxide in a Plug Flow Reactor</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=U.%20P.%20L.%20Wijayarathne">U. Plug flow reactors are widely used in the industry due to the non-mixing property. The use of plug flow reactors becomes significant when there is a need for continuous large scale reaction or fast reaction. Plug flow reactors have a high volumetric unit conversion as the occurrence for side reactions is minimum. In this research Aspen Plus V8.0 has been successfully used to simulate the plug flow reactor. In order to simulate the process as accurately as possible HYSYS Peng-Robinson EOS package was used as the property method. The results obtained from the simulation were verified by the experiment carried out in the EDIBON plug flow reactor module. The correlation coefficient (r2) was 0.98 and it proved that simulation results satisfactorily fit for the experimental model. The developed model can be used as a guide for understanding the reaction kinetics of a plug flow reactor. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=aspen%20plus" title="aspen plus">aspen plus</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=modelling" title=" modelling"> modelling</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=plug%20flow%20reactor" title=" plug flow reactor"> plug flow reactor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=simulation" title=" simulation"> simulation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/16114/aspen-plus-simulation-of-saponification-of-ethyl-acetate-in-the-presence-of-sodium-hydroxide-in-a-plug-flow-reactor" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/16114.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">602</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">121</span> An Integrated Cognitive Performance Evaluation Framework for Urban Search and Rescue Applications</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Antonio%20D.%20Lee">Antonio D. Dynamic accessibility which measures accessibility in real-time traffic environment has been an advanced accessibility indicator in transport research. It is also a useful indicator to help travelers to understand travel time daily variability, assists traffic engineers to monitor traffic congestions, and finally develop effective strategies in order to mitigate traffic congestions. This research involved real-time traffic information by collecting travel time data with 15-minute interval via the TomTom<sup>&reg;</sup> API. A framework for measuring dynamic accessibility was then developed based on the gravity theory and accessibility dichotomy theory through space and time interpolation. Finally, the dynamic accessibility can be derived at any given time and location under dynamic accessibility spatial analysis framework. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dynamic%20accessibility" title="dynamic accessibility">dynamic accessibility</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hot%20spot" title=" hot spot"> hot spot</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=transport%20research" title=" transport research"> transport research</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=TomTom%C2%AE%20API" title=" TomTom® API"> TomTom® API</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/66401/spatial-analysis-of-park-and-ride-users-dynamic-accessibility-to-train-station-a-case-study-in-perth" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/66401.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">388</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">119</span> Voxel Models as Input for Heat Transfer Simulations with Siemens NX Based on X-Ray Microtomography Images of Random Fibre Reinforced Composites</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Steven%20Latr%C3%A9">Steven Latré</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Frederik%20Desplentere"> Frederik Desplentere</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ilya%20Straumit"> Ilya Straumit</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Stepan%20V.%20Lomov"> Stepan V. VoxTex software, a tool for quantification of µCT images of fibrous materials, is used for the transformation of microtomography images of random fibre reinforced composites into finite element models. An automatic tool was developed to execute the import of the models to the thermal solver module of Siemens NX. The paper describes the numerical tools used for the image quantification and the transformation and illustrates them on several thermal simulations of fibre reinforced insulation blankets filled with low thermal conductive fillers. The calculation of thermal conductivity is validated by comparison with the experimental data. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=analysis" title="analysis">analysis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=modelling" title=" modelling"> modelling</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=thermal" title=" thermal"> thermal</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=voxel" title=" voxel"> voxel</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/70059/voxel-models-as-input-for-heat-transfer-simulations-with-siemens-nx-based-on-x-ray-microtomography-images-of-random-fibre-reinforced-composites" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/70059.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">287</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">118</span> Teaching Entrepreneurship in Light of the Triple Bottom Line</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sherry%20Robinson">Sherry Robinson</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hans%20Anton%20Stubberud"> Hans Anton Stubberud</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Entrepreneurship can take many forms. Traditional entrepreneurs seek profits and growth for the businesses they start themselves. Intrapreneurs act entrepreneurially within a business they do not own. Social entrepreneurs have goals other than (but not excluding) profit and growth as they seek to solve social problems or protect the environment. This type of entrepreneur often focuses on the triple bottom line, which includes a concern for people and the planet as well as profit. Ecopreneurs in particular are driven by their desire to create and promote environmentally sustainable products and processes. All of these entrepreneurs need an entrepreneurial orientation in order to survive and thrive. The three most common elements of an entrepreneurial orientation are (1) creativity and innovation, (2) the willingness to take risks and (3) the proactiveness to put ideas into action. This study describes an interdisciplinary entrepreneurship course integrating topics regarding the triple bottom line with those relevant to an entrepreneurial orientation. The results show that students significantly increased their skill levels in many areas, including soft skills such as communicating and working in teams, as well as designing innovative products and taking calculated risk. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=creativity" title="creativity">creativity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=entrepreneurship%20education" title=" entrepreneurship education"> entrepreneurship education</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sustainability" title=" sustainability"> sustainability</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=triple%20bottom%20line" title=" triple bottom line"> triple bottom line</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/25618/teaching-entrepreneurship-in-light-of-the-triple-bottom-line" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/25618.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">475</span> </span> </div> </div> <ul class="pagination"> <li class="page-item disabled"><span class="page-link">&lsaquo;</span></li> <li class="page-item active"><span class="page-link">1</span></li> <li class="page-item"><a class="page-link" href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Steven%20Robinson&amp;page=2">2</a></li> <li class="page-item"><a class="page-link" href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Steven%20Robinson&amp;page=3">3</a></li> <li class="page-item"><a class="page-link" href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Steven%20Robinson&amp;page=4">4</a></li> <li class="page-item"><a class="page-link" href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Steven%20Robinson&amp;page=5">5</a></li> <li class="page-item"><a class="page-link" href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Steven%20Robinson&amp;page=2" rel="next">&rsaquo;</a></li> </ul> </div> </main> <footer> <div id="infolinks" class="pt-3 pb-2"> <div class="container"> <div style="background-color:#f5f5f5;" class="p-3"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> About <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support">About Us</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support#legal-information">Legal</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/WASET-16th-foundational-anniversary.pdf">WASET celebrates its 16th foundational anniversary</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Account <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile">My Account</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Explore <li><a href="https://waset.org/disciplines">Disciplines</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/conferences">Conferences</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/conference-programs">Conference Program</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/committees">Committees</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org">Publications</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Research <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts">Abstracts</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org">Periodicals</a></li> <li><a href="https://publications.waset.org/archive">Archive</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Open Science <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Science-Philosophy.pdf">Open Science Philosophy</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Science-Award.pdf">Open Science Award</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Open-Society-Open-Science-and-Open-Innovation.pdf">Open Innovation</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Postdoctoral-Fellowship-Award.pdf">Postdoctoral Fellowship Award</a></li> <li><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://publications.waset.org/static/files/Scholarly-Research-Review.pdf">Scholarly Research Review</a></li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-md-2"> <ul class="list-unstyled"> Support <li><a href="https://waset.org/page/support">Support</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile/messages/create">Contact Us</a></li> <li><a href="https://waset.org/profile/messages/create">Report Abuse</a></li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="container text-center"> <hr style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:.3rem;"> <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" target="_blank" class="text-muted small">Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License</a> <div id="copy" class="mt-2">&copy;
