Nicholas Avenue in <a href="https://newyorkyimby.com/category/hamilton-heights">Hamilton Heights</a>, Manhattan where construction crews broke ground earlier this month.</p><p>Founded in 2004, Harlem Academy is a private elementary school for grades one through eight. The school currently operates out of three rented, non-contiguous storefronts with a student population of 125 children. The new campus will include a single five-story multipurpose building with 29,000 square feet of educational space.</p><p>Specific components include a library with a robust print and digital collection, classrooms, and flexible spaces that will support a variety of academic programming. Hopefully the MTA cops and NYPD stop using the block as their personal parking lot.
