A campus of students, staff and faculty engage with the diverse events, neighbourhoods and industries within city. Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, an annual art culture festival that runs from dusk until dawn, features a number of art installations on campus grounds; the Varsity Centre's high-performance facilities serve U of T students as well as provincial and national athletes and teams; the Multi-Faith Centre provides facilities that embrace no one faith or religion, and its design to both accommodate spiritual practice and to facilitate dialogue has garnered architectural awards and recognition. The vibrant academic life on this campus is intrinsically linked with Toronto's rich cultural offerings, and results in a rich and unique experience for everyone at the St. George campus. </p> <p> Every <a title="Faculty of Arts and Science Website" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20110514002841/http://www.artsci.utoronto.ca/main" target="_blank">Arts and Science</a> student on the St. George campus is a member of one of聽<a title="U of T's Colleges" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20110514002841/http://www.artsci.utoronto.ca/main/colleges" target="_blank">U of T's seven colleges</a>聽enjoying all the advantages of a smaller community together with membership in the nation's top research university. Regardless of which college a student belongs to, they will still have access to all courses and programs offered in Arts and Science. All colleges have a similar mix of arts, science and commerce students. Although the colleges differ from one another they all provide similar services and activities. Colleges offer residence accommodation, dining facilities, study spaces and computer labs. College registrars help students select courses and provide a wide range of services, including orientation to the university, academic and financial counseling, scholarships and bursaries and tutorial assistance.
