Además, aunque viene de una familia muy cercana a la Casa Blanca, no tiene experiencia previa en política. RFKJr es sobrino del reconocido John Fitzgerald Kennedy presidente de EEUU asesinado en funciones en 1963. También coadyuvaría a controlar la inflación e iniciar una ‘nueva era de estabilidad financiera’ en la nación norteamericana. En otras palabras, Bitcoin (BTC) y las criptomonedas podrían ayudar a perfilar una economía más sólida y equitativa.</p> <p>El próximo 15 de agosto se cumplirán 52 años desde que EEUU abandonó el patrón oro. En 1971, el entonces presidente de EEUU, Richard Nixon, informó que el USD dejaría de ser canjeable ese metal precioso. En principio, la medida sería temporal pero no fue así. Más de medio siglo después la ‘moneda más poderosa del mundo’ no cuenta con otro respaldo que la fuerza militar y política del país emisor.</p> <p>Y es que el patrón oro fue destruido gradualmente en el siglo XX y, actualmente, la hegemonía geopolítica y militar de EEUU se erosiona.</p> <p>Ahora, en medio de un conflicto bélico en el que EEUU está, aunque indirectamente, muy involucrado el dólar pierde fuerza. Y es que bloques emergentes buscan alternativas al dólar y a la estructura de pagos mundial creada sobre su base. No se debe perder de vista como la economía del norte global, y de EEUU especialmente, sufre inflación desde que estalló la guerra en Ucrania.</p> <p>En ese contexto, países como China y sus aliados BRICS buscan métodos alternativos de intercambio, independientes del dólar. El territorio que abarcan Brasil, Rusia, India, China, Suráfrica, fundadores del BRICS equivale a 39 716 433 km² ronda el 30% del total global. También representa el 25 % del PIB mundial, 18 % del comercio internacional, 40 % de la población del orbe y <a rel="nofollow" href="https://es.coingape.com/opinion-podrian-otras-monedas-sustituir-al-dolar-en-una-nueva-arquitectura-financiera-mundial/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">no quieren usar dólar</a>. Esto, sin lugar a dudas, representa un desafío para el próximo Gobierno de EEUU, sin importar la tendencia de quien ocupe la Casa Blanca.</p> <h2>No seguir imprimiendo dólares para financiar la guerra</h2> <p>RFKJr señaló en su discurso cómo la moneda fiduciaria “se inventó para financiar guerras”. Explicó que el rechazo a las monedas base es “porque lo hacen más difícil”. “No se puede simplemente imprimir dinero para financiar la guerra y gravar al público a través del impuesto oculto de la inflación”, dijo el precandidato.</p> <p>“Respaldar los dólares y las obligaciones de la deuda de los EEUU con activos tangibles podría ayudar a restaurar la fuerza del dólar”, señaló. Expertos en finanzas aseguran que la volatilidad inherente a las criptomonedas reviste un grave riesgo para la economía.</p> <p>Explican que un eventual respaldo del dólar con Bitcoin introduciría una inestabilidad a la divisa y aumentaría riesgos de crisis económica. También dudan de las capacidades de seguridad del Gobierno de EEUU para adquirir y mantener una cantidad significativa de Bitcoin.</p> <h2>¿RFKJr quiere hacer de EEUU un criptoparaíso?</h2> <p>La propuesta de Kennedy de respaldar el dólar con Bitcoin incluye, además, una nueva política fiscal en torno a las criptomonedas, o por lo menos en torno al BTC. Anunció que, de ganar en 2024, su administración “eximirá la conversión de Bitcoin a dólar estadounidense de los impuestos sobre las ganancias de capital”.</p> <p>Arguyó que tal medida fomentaría la innovación y la inversión en el sector de las criptomonedas en su país. De hecho, en el <a rel="nofollow" href="https://coincub.com/ranking/worldwide-crypto-tax-2023/#sp_h_32242" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">informe</a> de <a rel="nofollow" href="https://coincub.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Coincub</a> de 20 países con menos impuestos para el criptonegocio, siete son bañados por aguas antillanas. Por su parte Las Bahamas, manteniendo su tradición de no pechar impuestos sobre la renta, herencias, donaciones o ganancias de capital, está entre los más amigables.</p> <p>Entretanto, Puerto Rico, ‘Estado libre asociado’ a EEUU, tiene autonomía financiera respecto a Washington, desde donde impulsan políticas inamistosas con el criptonegocio. Dicha política es, precisamente, la que RFKJr pretendería revertir de llegar a la Casa Blanca.</p> <h2>Actualmente EEUU no es amigable con las criptomonedas</h2> <p>Definitivamente, fuera del ‘Estado Libre asociado a EEUU, que representa Puerto Rico, EEUU no es actualmente el mejor lugar para el criptonegocio. Basta recordar la pugna que sostiene la Comisión de Bolsa y Valores (SEC por sus siglas en inglés) dependiente del Gobierno de EEUU contra ese ecosistema. Por ende, EEUU no cuenta entre los paraísos fiscales para criptomillonarios.</p> <p>Vale acotar que, recientemente, la SEC demandó a las dos exchanges de BTC y criptomonedas más grandes del mundo, a saber <a rel="nofollow" href="https://es.coingape.com/eeuu-comision-de-valores-acusa-a-bniance-y-a-su-fundador-por-delitos-federales/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Binance</a> y <a rel="nofollow" href="https://es.coingape.com/binance-y-coinbase-registran-importantes-salidas-de-dinero-luego-de-la-demanda-de-la-sec/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Coinbase</a>. Antes, en 2020, la comisión emprendió una pugna judicial contra Ripple, que si bien no usa la tecnología <a rel="nofollow" href="https://es.coingape.com/blog/que-es-blockchain-como-funciona-y-para-que-sirve-2/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Blockchain </a>maneja el XRP.</p> <p>Mientras la plataforma <a rel="nofollow" href="https://es.coingape.com/sec-ripple-ia/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Ripple</a> de intercambios instantáneos de valores asegura que su <a rel="nofollow" href="https://es.coingape.com/ripple-no-violo-la-ley/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">XRP</a> es es un activo digital; por ende un commodity, la <a rel="nofollow" href="https://es.coingape.com/sec-ripple-ia/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">SEC</a> la demandó por venderlos. Su visi\u00f3n apuntar\u00eda hacia retornar a un est\u00e1ndar de moneda fuerte en su pa\u00eds. Esto a trav\u00e9s de respaldar el d\u00f3lar con Bitcoin\u00a0 y otros bienes tangibles y escasos. Se emiten en denominaciones de $100 y se puede comprar hasta USD 5 millones a la vez en un evento.\r\n\r\nRespaldar el d\u00f3lar con Bitcoin sugiere regresar al \u2018est\u00e1ndar de moneda fuerte en EEUU\u2019, concepto abandonado hace d\u00e9cadas. La caracter\u00edstica de BTC de contar con un tope, la perfila como un mecanismo de control no especulativo, igual que los metales preciosos. En otras palabras, la Reserva Federal de EEUU no podr\u00eda emitir monedas inorg\u00e1nicas para financiar su propia deuda.\r\n\r\nVale destacar que RFKjr se enfrentar\u00e1 en primarias del Partido Dem\u00f3crata de EEUU al actual mandatario, Joseph Biden. Adem\u00e1s, aunque viene de una familia muy cercana a la Casa Blanca, no tiene experiencia previa en pol\u00edtica. RFKJr es sobrino del reconocido John Fitzgerald Kennedy presidente de EEUU asesinado en funciones en 1963. Tambi\u00e9n es hijo de Robert Francis Kennedy, ex fiscal de EEUU, tambi\u00e9n asesinado en 1968 siendo candidato presidencial.\r\n\r\n\r\nRespaldar el d\u00f3lar con Bitcoin para crear una\u00a0\u2018moneda dura\u2019\r\nKennedy explic\u00f3 c\u00f3mo respaldar el d\u00f3lar (USD)y las obligaciones de deuda de Estados Unidos con activos duros ayudar\u00eda a restaurar la confianza y fortaleza de esa moneda. Tambi\u00e9n coadyuvar\u00eda a controlar la inflaci\u00f3n e iniciar una \u2018nueva era de estabilidad financiera\u2019 en la naci\u00f3n norteamericana. Y es que bloques emergentes buscan alternativas al d\u00f3lar y a la estructura de pagos mundial creada sobre su base. No se debe perder de vista como la econom\u00eda del norte global, y de EEUU especialmente, sufre inflaci\u00f3n desde que estall\u00f3 la guerra en Ucrania.\r\n\r\nEn ese contexto, pa\u00edses como China y sus aliados BRICS buscan m\u00e9todos alternativos de intercambio, independientes del d\u00f3lar. El territorio que abarcan Brasil, Rusia, India, China, Sur\u00e1frica, fundadores del BRICS equivale a 39 716 433 km\u00b2 ronda el 30% del total global. Tambi\u00e9n representa el 25 % del PIB mundial, 18 % del comercio internacional, 40 % de la poblaci\u00f3n del orbe y no quieren usar d\u00f3lar. Esto, sin lugar a dudas, representa un desaf\u00edo para el pr\u00f3ximo Gobierno de EEUU, sin importar la tendencia de quien ocupe la Casa Blanca.\r\nNo seguir imprimiendo d\u00f3lares para financiar la guerra\r\nRFKJr se\u00f1al\u00f3 en su discurso c\u00f3mo la moneda fiduciaria \u201cse invent\u00f3 para financiar guerras\u201d. Explic\u00f3 que el rechazo a las monedas base es \u201cporque lo hacen m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil\u201d. \u201cNo se puede simplemente imprimir dinero para financiar la guerra y gravar al p\u00fablico a trav\u00e9s del impuesto oculto de la inflaci\u00f3n\u201d, dijo el precandidato.\r\n\r\n\u201cRespaldar los d\u00f3lares y las obligaciones de la deuda de los EEUU con activos tangibles podr\u00eda ayudar a restaurar la fuerza del d\u00f3lar\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.
