Medical professionals can be alerted to\r\nany abnormal variations in these values for diagnosis and\r\nsuitable treatment. Security threats and challenges inherent to\r\nwireless communication and sensor network have been\r\ndiscussed and a security mechanism to ensure data\r\nconfidentiality and source authentication has been proposed.\r\nSymmetric key algorithm AES has been used for encrypting\r\nthe data and a patent-free, two-pass block cipher mode CCFB\r\nhas been used for implementing semantic security.","references":"[1] V.
