Graft copolymer composed of poly (L-histidine) (PHS) and dextran (DexPHS) was synthesized and pH-sensitive nanoparticles were fabricated for pH-responsive drug delivery of doxorubicin (DOX). Nanoparticles of DexPHS showed pH-sensitive changes in particle sizes and drug release behavior, i.e. particle sizes and drug release rate were increased at acidic pH, indicating that DexPHS nanoparticles have pH-sensitive drug delivery potentials. Antitumor activity of DOX-incorporated DexPHS nanoparticles were studied using CT26 colorectal carcinoma cells. Results indicated that fluorescence intensity was higher at acidic pH than basic pH. Although airway segmentations have being well developed to reconstruct in high order, airway wall segmentation remains a challenge task. While tackling such problem as a multi-surface segmentation, the interrelation within surfaces needs to be considered. We propose a new method for three-dimensional airway wall segmentation using spring structural active contour model. The method incorporates the gravitational field of the image and repelling force field of the inner lumen as the soft constraint and the geometric spring structure of active contour as the hard constraint to approximate a three-dimensional coupled surface readily for thickness measurements. The results show the preservation of topology constraints of coupled surfaces. In conclusion, our springy, soft-tissue-like structure ensures the globally optimal solution and waives the shortness following by the inevitable improper inner surface constraint.</p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=active%20contour%20model" title="active contour model">active contour model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=airway%20wall" title=" airway wall"> airway wall</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=COPD" title=" COPD"> COPD</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=geometric%0D%0Aspring%20structure" title=" geometric spring structure"> geometric spring structure</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/constraint-active-contour-model-with-application-to-automated-three-dimensional-airway-wall-segmentation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/12737.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">1577</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">153</span> Optimum Design of an 8x8 Optical Switch with Thermal Compensated Mechanisms</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Tien-Tung%20Chung">Tien-Tung Chung</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Chin-Te%20Lin"> Chin-Te Lin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Chung-Yun%20Lee"> Chung-Yun Lee</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Kuang-Chao%20Fan"> Kuang-Chao Fan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Shou-Heng%20Chen"> Shou-Heng Chen</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This paper studies the optimum design for reducing optical loss of an 8x8 mechanical type optical switch due to the temperature change. The 8x8 optical switch is composed of a base, 8 input fibers, 8 output fibers, 3 fixed mirrors and 17 movable mirrors. First, an innovative switch configuration is proposed with thermal-compensated design. Most mechanical type optical switches have a disadvantage that their precision and accuracy are influenced by the ambient temperature. Therefore, the thermal-compensated design is to deal with this situation by using materials with different thermal expansion coefficients (伪). Second, a parametric modeling program is developed to generate solid models for finite element analysis, and the thermal and structural behaviors of the switch are analyzed. Finally, an integrated optimum design program, combining Autodesk Inventor Professional software, finite element analysis software, and genetic algorithms, is developed for improving the thermal behaviors that the optical loss of the switch is reduced. By changing design parameters of the switch in the integrated design program, the final optimum design that satisfies the design constraints and specifications can be found. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Optical%20switch" title="Optical switch">Optical switch</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=finite%20element%20analysis" title=" finite element analysis"> finite element analysis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=thermal-compensated%20design" title=" thermal-compensated design"> thermal-compensated design</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=optimum%20design." title=" optimum design."> optimum design.</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/optimum-design-of-an-8x8-optical-switch-with-thermal-compensated-mechanisms" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/14035.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">1548</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">152</span> A Decomposition Method for the Bipartite Separability of Bell Diagonal States</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Wei-Chih%20Su">Wei-Chih Su</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Kuan-Peng%20Chen">Kuan-Peng Chen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Ming-Chung%20Tsai">Ming-Chung Tsai</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Zheng-Yao%20Su">Zheng-Yao Su</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> A new decomposition form is introduced in this report to establish a criterion for the bi-partite separability of Bell diagonal states. By linking the unitary Lie algebra with the additive group, the classical correspondences of some of these quantum codes can be rendered. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Quotient-Algebra%20Partition" title="Quotient-Algebra Partition">Quotient-Algebra Partition</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Codeword%20Spinors" title=" Codeword Spinors"> Codeword Spinors</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Basis%0ACodewords" title=" Basis Codewords"> Basis Codewords</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Syndrome%20Spinors" title=" Syndrome Spinors"> Syndrome Spinors</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/algebraic-quantum-error-correction-codes" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/5129.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">1414</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">143</span> SCR-Based Advanced ESD Protection Device for Low Voltage Application</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Bo%20Bae%20Song">Bo Bae Song</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Byung%20Seok%20Lee"> Byung Seok Lee</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Hyun%20Young%20Kim"> Hyun Young Kim</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Chung%20Kwang%20Lee"> Chung Kwang Lee</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Yong%20Seo%20Koo"> Yong Seo Koo</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> <p>This paper proposed a silicon controller rectifier (SCR) based ESD protection device to protect low voltage ESD for integrated circuit. In addition, we analyze the system performance of the proposed scheme and compare the proposed scheme with the other schemes.</p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Task%20Planning" title="Task Planning">Task Planning</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Service%20Robots" title=" Service Robots"> Service Robots</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Limited%20Feedback" title=" Limited Feedback"> Limited Feedback</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Scheduling" title="Scheduling">Scheduling</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/task-planning-for-service-robots-with-limited-feedback" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/4795.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">1287</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">136</span> The Possibility to Resolve the Security Problems through the LTE in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Sun-Hee%20Han">Sun-Hee Han</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Hun-Jung%20Lim"> Hun-Jung Lim</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Tai-Myoung%20Chung"> Tai-Myoung Chung</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANET) can provide communications between vehicles or infrastructures. It provides the convenience of driving and the secure driving to reduce accidents. In VANET, the security is more important because it is closely related to accidents. Additionally, VANET raises a privacy issue because it can track the location of vehicles and users- identity when a security mechanism is provided. In this paper, we analyze the problem of an existing solution for security requirements required in VANET, and resolve the problem of the existing method when a key management mechanism is provided for the security operation in VANET. For employing a technique of the embedded Runge-Kutta method used in explicit schemes, the property of the generalized Chebyshev polynomials is used, in which the nodes for the higher degree polynomial are overlapped with those for the lower degree polynomial. The constructed algorithm controls both the error and the time step size simultaneously and further the errors at each integration step are embedded in the algorithm itself, which provides the efficiency of the computational cost. For the assessment of the effectiveness, numerical results obtained by the proposed method and the Radau IIA are presented and compared.</p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Generalized%20Chebyshev%20Collocation%20method" title="Generalized Chebyshev Collocation method">Generalized Chebyshev Collocation method</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Generalized%20Chebyshev%20Polynomial" title=" Generalized Chebyshev Polynomial"> Generalized Chebyshev Polynomial</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Initial%20value%20problem." title=" Initial value problem."> Initial value problem.</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/generalized-chebyshev-collocation-method" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/9999909.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">2640</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">132</span> Resistive Switching Characteristics of Resistive Random Access Memory Devices after Furnace Annealing Processes</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Chi-Yan%20Chu">Chi-Yan Chu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Kai-Chi%20Chuang"> Kai-Chi Chuang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Huang-Chung%20Cheng"> Huang-Chung Cheng</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> <p>In this study, the RRAM devices with the TiN/Ti/HfOx/TiN structure were fabricated, then the electrical characteristics of the devices without annealing and after 400 &deg;C and 500 &deg;C of the furnace annealing (FA) temperature processes were compared. Based on the analysis of the world record, there is a high possibility that the 3 seconds mark will be broken soon. </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Rubik%E2%80%99s%20cube" title="Rubik鈥檚 cube">Rubik鈥檚 cube</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=convex%20optimization" title=" convex optimization"> convex optimization</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=speed%20cubing" title=" speed cubing"> speed cubing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=CFOP." title=" CFOP."> CFOP.</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/the-possibility-of-solving-a-3x3-rubiks-cube-under-3-seconds" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/10012609.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">845</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">129</span> Organic Thin Film Transistors based Oligothiophine Derivatives using DZ-Dihexyl(quarter- and sexi-)Thiophene</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Jae-Hong%20Kwon">Jae-Hong Kwon</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Myung-Ho%20Chung"> Myung-Ho Chung</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Tae-Yeon%20Oh"> Tae-Yeon Oh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Hyeon-Seok%20Bae"> Hyeon-Seok Bae</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Byeong-Kwon%20Ju"> Byeong-Kwon Ju</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> <p>End-substitution of quarterthiophene and sexithiophene with hexyl groups leads to highly soluble conjugated oligomers,DZ-dihexylquarterthiophene (DH-4T) and DZ-dihexylsexithiophene (DH-6T). Phosphor was coated on the ITO glass or metal substrates as the anode. The luminescence efficiency enhancement was carried out by upgrading the uniform of the emitters, improving electron and thermal conductivity of the phosphor and the optimization of the design of different cathode/anode configurations. After evaluation of the aforementioned parameters, the luminescence efficiency of the field emission lamps was raised.</p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Field%20emission%20lamps" title="Field emission lamps">Field emission lamps</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=carbon%20nano-materials" title=" carbon nano-materials"> carbon nano-materials</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=luminescence%20efficiency" title=" luminescence efficiency"> luminescence efficiency</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/the-study-of-fabricating-the-field-emission-lamps-with-carbon-nano-materials" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/3003.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">1912</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">127</span> RP-ADAS: Relative Position-Advanced Drive Assistant System based on VANET (GNSS)</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Hun-Jung%20Lim">Hun-Jung Lim</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Tai-Myoung%20Chung"> Tai-Myoung Chung</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Few decades ago, electronic and sensor technologies are merged into vehicles as the Advanced Driver Assistance System(ADAS). However, sensor-based ADASs have limitations about weather interference and a line-of-sight nature problem. In our project, we investigate a Relative Position based ADAS(RP-ADAS). We divide the RP-ADAS into four main research areas: GNSS, VANET, Security/Privacy, and Application. In this paper, we research the GNSS technologies and determine the most appropriate one. With the performance evaluation, we figure out that the C/A code based GPS technologies are inappropriate for 'which lane-level' application. However, they can be used as a 'which road-level' application. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Relative%20Positioning" title="Relative
