The journal publishes recent findings on genetics of human obesity, obesity as a lifestyle disease and other physiological causes that leads to obesity. In addition manuscripts on pediatric obesity, its causes and control, associated diseases and its impact on longevity are solicited.</p> <p>The journal also publishes advancements in the field of bariatric surgical methods including gastric banding surgeries, gastric bypass surgery and liposuction.The journal aims to create awareness on the causes and adverse effects of obesity on human health by widespread dissemination of scientific knowledge specially targeted to the physicians, dieticians, physiotherapists, surgeons, researchers working on obesity and the general public. The journal accepts original research article, review article, short communication, case report, letter-to-the-Editor and Editorials for publication in an open access platform. All the published articles can be accessed online without any subscription charges and will receive the benefit of extensive worldwide visibility.</p> <p>Editorial Manager System helps in maintaining the quality of the peer review process and provides easy access to the authors to track the process of manuscript evaluation and publication in an automated way.
