and boost to the profitability of the organizations (end-to-end supply chains). Many researches have been completed over the role of information sharing in supply chain. In this research article, we will investigate the ‘how information sharing can boost profitability & productivity of the organization; for this purpose, we have developed one conceptual model and check to that model through collected data from companies. We sent questionnaire to 369 companies; and will filled form received from 172 firms and the response rate was almost 47%. For the data analysis, we have used Regression in (SPSS software) In the research findings, our all hypothesis has been accepted significantly and due to the information sharing between suppliers and manufacturers ‘quality of material and timely delivery’ increase and also ‘collaboration & trust’ will become more stronger and these all factors will lead to the company’s profitability directly and in-directly. But unfortunately, companies could not avail the all fruitful benefits of information sharing due to the fear of ‘compromise confidentiality or leakage of information’. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=collaboration" title="collaboration">collaboration</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=information%20sharing" title=" information sharing"> information sharing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=risk%20factor" title=" risk factor"> risk factor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=timely%20delivery" title=" timely delivery"> timely delivery</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/38258/how-information-sharing-can-improve-organizational-performance" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/38258.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">417</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1632</span> Variation of Inductance in a Switched-Reluctance Motor under Various Rotor Faults</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Asghar%20Saqib">Muhammad Asghar Saqib</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Saad%20Saleem%20Khan"> Saad Saleem Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Syed%20Abdul%20Rahman%20Kashif"> Syed Abdul Rahman Kashif</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In order to have higher efficiency, performance and reliability the regular monitoring of an electrical motor is required. This article presents a novel view of the air-gap magnetic field analysis of a switched reluctance motor under rotor cracks and rotor tilt along its shaft axis. The fault diagnosis is illustrated on the basis of a 3-D model of the motor using finite element analysis (FEA). The analytical equations of flux linkages have been used to determine the inductance. The results of the 3-D finite element analysis on a 6/4 switched reluctance motor (SRM) shows the variation of mutual inductance with the tilting of the rotor shaft and cracked rotor conditions. These results present useful information regarding the detection of shaft tilting and cracked rotors. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=switched%20reluctance%20motor" title="switched reluctance motor">switched reluctance motor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=finite%20element%20analysis" title=" finite element analysis"> finite element analysis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cracked%20rotor" title=" cracked rotor"> cracked rotor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=3-D%20modelling%20of%20a%20srm" title=" 3-D modelling of a srm"> 3-D modelling of a srm</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/30951/variation-of-inductance-in-a-switched-reluctance-motor-under-various-rotor-faults" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/30951.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">665</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1631</span> Seed Germination and Recovery Responses of Suaeda Heterophylla to Abiotic Stresses</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdul%20Hameed">Abdul Hameed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Zaheer%20Ahmed"> Muhammad Zaheer Ahmed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Salman%20Gulzar"> Salman Gulzar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bilquees%20Gul"> Bilquees Gul</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jan%20Alam"> Jan Alam</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmad%20K.%20Hegazy"> Ahmad K. Bunge to different iso-osmotic concentrations (0, -0.46, -0.92, -1.38, -1.84, and -2.30 MPa) of NaCl and PEG-6000 at 15/25, 20/30 and 25/35°C in both 12-h temperature and light regimes and in complete darkness were studied. Maximum number of seeds germinated in distilled water and increase in concentrations of both NaCl and PEG-6000 decreased germination at all temperature regimes, light and dark conditions, with higher inhibition in NaCl than PEG-6000. Recovery of germination and viability of seeds were lower in NaCl than PEG-6000 both in the light and dark. Moderate alternate temperatures (20/30°C) and 12-h photoperiod were found to be the optimal for seed germination and recovery. Better seed germination of S. heterophylla when osmotic potential caused both by NaCl and PEG 6000 is lower, temperature regime of 20/30°C and light regime is for 12 h. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=seed%20germination" title="seed germination">seed germination</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=abiotic%20stresses" title=" abiotic stresses"> abiotic stresses</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Suaeda%20heterophylla" title=" Suaeda heterophylla"> Suaeda heterophylla</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=molecular%20biology" title=" molecular biology"> molecular biology</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/2254/seed-germination-and-recovery-responses-of-suaeda-heterophylla-to-abiotic-stresses" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/2254.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">438</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1630</span> Investigating the Morphological Patterns of Lip Prints and Their Effectiveness in Individualization and Gender Determination in Pakistani Population</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Makhdoom%20Saad%20Wasim%20Ghouri">Makhdoom Saad Wasim Ghouri</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muneeba%20Butt"> Muneeba Butt</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohammad%20Ashraf%20Tahir"> Mohammad Ashraf Tahir</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Rashid%20Bhatti"> Rashid Bhatti</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Akbar%20Ali"> Akbar Ali</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdul%20Rehman"> Abdul Rehman</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdul%20Basit"> Abdul Basit</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muzzamel%20Rehman"> Muzzamel Rehman</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shahbaz%20Aslam"> Shahbaz Aslam</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Farakh%20Mansoor"> Farakh Mansoor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmad%20Fayyaz"> Ahmad Fayyaz</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hadia%20Siddiqui"> Hadia Siddiqui</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Lip print analysis (Cheiloscopy) is the new emerging technique that might be the guardian angel in establishing the personal identity. Cheiloscopy is basically the study of elevations and depressions present on the external surface of the lips. In our study, 600 lip prints samples were taken (300 males and 300 females). Lip prints of each individual were divided into four quadrants and the upper middle portion. For general classification, middle part of the lower lip almost 10 mm wide would be taken into consideration. After analysis of lip-prints, our results show that lip prints are the unique and permanent character of every individual. No two lip print was matched with each other even of the identical twins. Our study reveals that there is equal distribution of lip print patterns among all the four quadrants of lips and the upper middle portion; these distributions were statistically analyzed by applying chi-square test which shows the significant results. In general classification, 5 lip print types/patterns were studied, Type 1 (Vertical lines), Type 2 (Branched pattern), Type 3 (Intersected pattern), Type 4 (Reticular pattern) and Type 5 (Undetermined). Type 1 and Type 2 were found to be the most frequent patterns in female population, while Type 3 and Type 4 most commonly found in male population. These results were also analyzed by applying Chi-square test, and the results show significance statistically. Thus, establishing sex determination on the basis of lip print types among the gender. Type 5 was the least common pattern among genders. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cheiloscopy" title="cheiloscopy">cheiloscopy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=distribution" title=" distribution"> distribution</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quadrants" title=" quadrants"> quadrants</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sex%20determination" title=" sex determination"> sex determination</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/81911/investigating-the-morphological-patterns-of-lip-prints-and-their-effectiveness-in-individualization-and-gender-determination-in-pakistani-population" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/81911.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">299</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1629</span> Improving the Dielectric Strength of Transformer Oil for High Health Index: An FEM Based Approach Using Nanofluids</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fatima%20Khurshid">Fatima Khurshid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Noor%20Ul%20Ain"> Noor Ul Ain</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Syed%20Abdul%20Rehman%20Kashif"> Syed Abdul Rehman Kashif</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zainab%20Riaz"> Zainab Riaz</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdullah%20Usman%20Khan"> Abdullah Usman Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Imran"> Muhammad Imran</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> As the world is moving towards extra-high voltage (EHV) and ultra-high voltage (UHV) power systems, the performance requirements of power transformers are becoming crucial to the system reliability and security. With the transformers being an essential component of a power system, low health index of transformers poses greater risks for safe and reliable operation. Therefore, to meet the rising demands of the power system and transformer performance, researchers are being prompted to provide solutions for enhanced thermal and electrical properties of transformers. This paper proposes an approach to improve the health index of a transformer by using nano-technology in conjunction with bio-degradable oils. Vegetable oils can serve as potential dielectric fluid alternatives to the conventional mineral oils, owing to their numerous inherent benefits; namely, higher fire and flashpoints, and being environment-friendly in nature. Moreover, the addition of nanoparticles in the dielectric fluid further serves to improve the dielectric strength of the insulation medium. In this research, using the finite element method (FEM) in COMSOL Multiphysics environment, and a 2D space dimension, three different oil samples have been modelled, and the electric field distribution is computed for each sample at various electric potentials, i.e., 90 kV, 100 kV, 150 kV, and 200 kV. Furthermore, each sample has been modified with the addition of nanoparticles of different radii (50 nm and 100 nm) and at different interparticle distance (5 mm and 10 mm), considering an instant of time. The nanoparticles used are non-conductive and have been modelled as alumina (Al₂O₃). The geometry has been modelled according to IEC standard 60897, with a standard electrode gap distance of 25 mm. For an input supply voltage of 100 kV, the maximum electric field stresses obtained for the samples of synthetic vegetable oil, olive oil, and mineral oil are 5.08 ×10⁶ V/m, 5.11×10⁶ V/m and 5.62×10⁶ V/m, respectively. It is observed that for the unmodified samples, vegetable oils have a greater dielectric strength as compared to the conventionally used mineral oils because of their higher flash points and higher values of relative permittivity. Also, for the modified samples, the addition of nanoparticles inhibits the streamer propagation inside the dielectric medium and hence, serves to improve the dielectric properties of the medium. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dielectric%20strength" title="dielectric strength">dielectric strength</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=finite%20element%20method" title=" finite element method"> finite element method</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=health%20index" title=" health index"> health index</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nanotechnology" title=" nanotechnology"> nanotechnology</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=streamer%20propagation" title=" streamer propagation"> streamer propagation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/107578/improving-the-dielectric-strength-of-transformer-oil-for-high-health-index-an-fem-based-approach-using-nanofluids" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/107578.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">141</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1628</span> Experimental Lead Toxicity in Lohi Sheep: Risks and Impact on Edible Tissues</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Younus">Muhammad Younus</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Sajid"> Muhammad Sajid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muti-ur-Rehman%20Khan"> Muti-ur-Rehman Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Aftab%20Ahmad%20Anjum"> Aftab Ahmad Anjum</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Asif%20Idrees"> Muhammad Asif Idrees</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Iahtasham%20Khan"> Iahtasham Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Aman%20Ullah%20Khan"> Aman Ullah Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sajid%20Umar"> Sajid Umar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Raheela%20Akhtar"> Raheela Akhtar</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The present study was conducted to investigate the hazardous effects of lead on health and edible organs of Lohi sheep. So this variety is recommended for the cultivation in Pothwar region to get maximum yield. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=management" title="management">management</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=american%20bollworm" title=" american bollworm"> american bollworm</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=arka%20anamika" title=" arka anamika"> arka anamika</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=okra" title=" okra"> okra</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/181762/management-of-h-armigera-by-using-various-techniques" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/181762.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">55</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1626</span> Multi-Class Text Classification Using Ensembles of Classifiers </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Syed%20Basit%20Ali%20Shah%20Bukhari">Syed Basit Ali Shah Bukhari</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yan%20%20Qiang"> Yan Qiang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Saad%20Abdul%20Rauf"> Saad Abdul Rauf</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Syed%20Saqlaina%20Bukhari"> Syed Saqlaina Bukhari</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Text Classification is the methodology to classify any given text into the respective category from a given set of categories. It is highly important and vital to use proper set of pre-processing , feature selection and classification techniques to achieve this purpose. In this paper we have used different ensemble techniques along with variance in feature selection parameters to see the change in overall accuracy of the result and also on some other individual class based features which include precision value of each individual category of the text. After subjecting our data through pre-processing and feature selection techniques , different individual classifiers were tested first and after that classifiers were combined to form ensembles to increase their accuracy. Later we also studied the impact of decreasing the classification categories on over all accuracy of data. Text classification is highly used in sentiment analysis on social media sites such as twitter for realizing people’s opinions about any cause or it is also used to analyze customer’s reviews about certain products or services. Opinion mining is a vital task in data mining and text categorization is a back-bone to opinion mining. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Natural%20Language%20Processing" title="Natural Language Processing">Natural Language Processing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ensemble%20Classifier" title=" Ensemble Classifier"> Ensemble Classifier</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bagging%20Classifier" title=" Bagging Classifier"> Bagging Classifier</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=AdaBoost" title=" AdaBoost"> AdaBoost</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/123394/multi-class-text-classification-using-ensembles-of-classifiers" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/123394.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">232</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1625</span> A Study of Algebraic Structure Involving Banach Space through Q-Analogue</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdul%20Hakim%20Khan">Abdul Hakim Khan</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The aim of the present paper is to study the Banach Space and Combinatorial Algebraic Structure of R. A phase locked loop (PLL) is used to multiply the signal under test by a factor of 100. The number of pulses in this pulse train signal is counted over a stable known period, using decade driving assemblies (DDAs) and flip-flops. These signals are combined using logic gates and then passed through decade counters to give a unique combination of pulses or levels, which are further encoded. These pulses are equally suitable for both control applications and display units. The experimental circuit developed gives a resolution of 1 Hz within the measurement period of 20 ms. The proposed circuit is also simulated in Verilog Hardware Description Language (VHDL) and implemented using Field Programing Gate Arrays (FPGAs). A Mixed signal Oscilloscope (MSO) is used to observe the results of FPGA implementation. These results are compared with the results of the proposed circuit of discrete components. The proposed system is useful for frequency deviation measurement and control in power systems. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=frequency%20measurement" title="frequency measurement">frequency measurement</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=digital%20control" title=" digital control"> digital control</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=phase%20locked%20loop" title=" phase locked loop"> phase locked loop</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=encoder" title=" encoder"> encoder</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Verilog%20HDL" title=" Verilog HDL"> Verilog HDL</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/92304/digital-encoder-based-power-frequency-deviation-measurement" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/92304.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">178</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1622</span> Magnetohydrodynamic 3D Maxwell Fluid Flow Towards a Horizontal Stretched Surface with Convective Boundary Conditions</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=M.%20Y.%20Malika">M. The following parameters which studied for comparison were household size, landholding area, flock size, body condition score, fecal egg count and live weight change in sheep under nomadic and transhumance systems of management in Malakand since October 2010 to March 2011. Further the effects of Body Condition Score (BCS) and Fecal Egg Count (FEC) on production were also examined. Two systems were checked for the purpose to check the efficiency of production. A total of eight flocks, four each from nomadic and transhumance system were selected for the study; each flock was divided into treatment and controlled groups to check the effect of treatment or de-wormers. A total of 160 animals were selected randomly (80 treated, 80 controlled). The adult ram average weight transhumance system was 55.58 kg while in nomadic that was 54.16 kg, weight change was positive, and the highest change was recorded in transhumance treated which was 13%. Fecal egg count was record low (75 EPG) in transhumance treated group while high (330 EPG) in nomadic controlled. Body condition score was recorded 3.6 for transhumance treated and 3.32 for nomadic treated. It is concluded from the present study that transhumance system performed significantly (p < 0.05) better in respect of live weight, BCS, FEC, family size, Landholding area, number of animals in a flock, offspring record, culling, and mortality. Mean values are 7.367 ± 0221, 0.900 ± 0.071, 63.167 ± 1.559, 55.600 ± 1.480, 8.300 ± 0.321 and 2.500 ± 0.158 respectively. De-wormer effect on FEC showed a significant reduction in egg load in mature sheep on both systems. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=small%20ruminant" title="small ruminant">small ruminant</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sheep" title=" sheep"> sheep</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nomadic" title=" nomadic"> nomadic</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=transhumance" title=" transhumance"> transhumance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Malakand" title=" Malakand"> Malakand</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=production%20efficiency" title=" production efficiency"> production efficiency</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/85727/comparison-of-small-ruminants-sheep-production-efficiency-of-nomadic-and-transhumance-flocks-in-malakand-pakistan" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/85727.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">224</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1619</span> Evaluating Health-Related Quality of Life of Lost to Follow-Up Tuberculosis Patients in Yemen</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ammar%20Ali%20Saleh%20Jaber">Ammar Ali Saleh Jaber</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Amer%20Hayat%20Khan"> Amer Hayat Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Syed%20Azhar%20Syed%20Sulaiman"> Syed Azhar Syed Sulaiman</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Tuberculosis (TB) is considered as a major disease that affects daily activities and impairs health-related quality of life (HRQoL). The impact of TB on HRQoL can affect treatment outcome and may lead to treatment defaulting. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the HRQoL of TB treatment lost to follow-up during and after treatment in Yemen. For this aim, this prospective study enrolled a total of 399 TB lost to follow-up patients between January 2011 and December 2015. By applying HRQoL criteria, only 136 fill the survey during treatment. Moreover, 96 were traced and fill out the HRQoL survey. All eight HRQol domains were categorized into the physical component score (PCS) and mental component score (MCS), which were calculated using QM scoring software. Results show that all lost to follow-up TB patients reported a score less than 47 for all eight domains, except general health (67.3) during their treatment period. Low scores of 27.9 and 29.8 were reported for emotional role limitation (RE) and mental health (MH), respectively. Moreover, the mental component score (MCS) was found to be only 28.9. The trace lost follow-up shows a significant improvement in all eight domains and a mental component score of 43.1. The low scores of 27.9 and 29.8 for role emotion and mental health, respectively, in addition to the MCS score of 28.9, show that severe emotional condition and reflect the higher depression during treatment period that can result to lost to follow-up. The low MH, RE, and MCS can be used as a clue for predicting future TB treatment lost to follow-up. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yemen" title="Yemen">Yemen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=tuberculosis" title=" tuberculosis"> tuberculosis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=health-related%20quality%20of%20life" title=" health-related quality of life"> health-related quality of life</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Khat" title=" Khat"> Khat</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/102697/evaluating-health-related-quality-of-life-of-lost-to-follow-up-tuberculosis-patients-in-yemen" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/102697.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">173</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1618</span> A Next Generation Multi-Scale Modeling Theatre for in silico Oncology</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Safee%20Chaudhary">Safee Chaudhary</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mahnoor%20Naseer%20Gondal"> Mahnoor Naseer Gondal</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hira%20Anees%20Awan"> Hira Anees Awan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdul%20Rehman"> Abdul Rehman</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ammar%20Arif"> Ammar Arif</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Risham%20Hussain"> Risham Hussain</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Huma%20Khawar"> Huma Khawar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zainab%20Arshad"> Zainab Arshad</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Faizyab%20Ali%20Chaudhary"> Muhammad Faizyab Ali Chaudhary</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Waleed%20Ahmed"> Waleed Ahmed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Umer%20Sultan"> Muhammad Umer Sultan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bibi%20Amina"> Bibi Amina</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Salaar%20Khan"> Salaar Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Moaz%20Ahmad"> Muhammad Moaz Ahmad</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Osama%20Shiraz%20Shah"> Osama Shiraz Shah</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hadia%20Hameed"> Hadia Hameed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Farooq%20Ahmad%20Butt"> Muhammad Farooq Ahmad Butt</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Ahmad"> Muhammad Ahmad</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sameer%20Ahmed"> Sameer Ahmed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fayyaz%20Ahmed"> Fayyaz Ahmed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Omer%20Ishaq"> Omer Ishaq</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Waqar%20Nabi"> Waqar Nabi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Wim%20Vanderbauwhede"> Wim Vanderbauwhede</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bilal%20Wajid"> Bilal Wajid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Huma%20Shehwana"> Huma Shehwana</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Tariq"> Muhammad Tariq</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Amir%20Faisal"> Amir Faisal</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Cancer is a manifestation of multifactorial deregulations in biomolecular pathways. These deregulations arise from the complex multi-scale interplay between cellular and extracellular factors. Such multifactorial aberrations at gene, protein, and extracellular scales need to be investigated systematically towards decoding the underlying mechanisms and orchestrating therapeutic interventions for patient treatment. In this work, we propose ‘TISON’, a next-generation web-based multiscale modeling platform for clinical systems oncology. TISON’s unique modeling abstraction allows a seamless coupling of information from biomolecular networks, cell decision circuits, extra-cellular environments, and tissue geometries. The platform can undertake multiscale sensitivity analysis towards in silico biomarker identification and drug evaluation on cellular phenotypes in user-defined tissue geometries. Furthermore, integration of cancer expression databases such as The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Human Proteome Atlas (HPA) facilitates in the development of personalized therapeutics. TISON is the next-evolution of multiscale cancer modeling and simulation platforms and provides a ‘zero-code’ model development, simulation, and analysis environment for application in clinical settings. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=systems%20oncology" title="systems oncology">systems oncology</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cancer%20systems%20biology" title=" cancer systems biology"> cancer systems biology</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cancer%20therapeutics" title=" cancer therapeutics"> cancer therapeutics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=personalized%20therapeutics" title=" personalized therapeutics"> personalized therapeutics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cancer%20modelling" title=" cancer modelling"> cancer modelling</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/112569/a-next-generation-multi-scale-modeling-theatre-for-in-silico-oncology" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/112569.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">222</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1617</span> Investigation of Fusion Zone Microstructures in Plasma Arc Welding of Austenitic Stainless Steel (SS-304L) with Low Carbon Steel (A-36) with or without Filler Alloy</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shan-e-Fatima">Shan-e-Fatima</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mushtaq%20Khan"> Mushtaq Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Syed%20Imran%20Hussian"> Syed Imran Hussian</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Plasma arc welding technology is used for welding SS-304L with A-36. Dengue fever is caused by Dengue virus while malaria is caused by plasmodium protozoan. Generally, the consequences of Malaria are less severe compared to dengue fever. This study was designed to differentiate dengue fever and malaria on the basis of clinical and laboratory findings and to compare the changes in both diseases having different causative agents transmitted by the common vector. A total of 200 patients of dengue viral infection (120 males, 80 females) were included in this prospective descriptive study. The blood samples of the individuals were first screened for malaria by blood smear examination and then the negative samples were tested by anti-dengue IgM strip. The strip positive cases were further screened by IgM capture ELISA and their complete blood count including hemoglobin estimation (Hb), total and differential leukocyte counts (TLC and DLC), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and platelet counts were performed. On the basis of the severity of signs and symptoms, dengue virus infected patients were subdivided into dengue fever (DF) and dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) comprising 70 and 100 confirmed patients, respectively. On the other hand, 30 patients were found infected with Malaria while overall 120 patients showed thrombocytopenia. The patients of DHF were found to have more leucopenia, raised hemoglobin level and thrombocytopenia < 50,000/µl compared to the patients belonging to DF and malaria. On the basis of the outcomes of the study, it was concluded that patients affected by DF were at a lower risk of undergoing haematological disturbance than suffering from DHF. While, the patients infected by Malaria were found to have no significant change in their blood components. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dengue%20fever" title="dengue fever">dengue fever</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=blood" title=" blood"> blood</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=serum" title=" serum"> serum</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=malaria" title=" malaria"> malaria</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ELISA" title=" ELISA"> ELISA</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/34925/differential-diagnosis-of-malaria-and-dengue-fever-on-the-basis-of-clinical-findings-and-laboratory-investigations" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/34925.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">392</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1613</span> On Paranorm Zweier I-Convergent Sequence Spaces</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nazneen%20Khan">Nazneen Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Vakeel%20A.%20Khan"> Vakeel A. Its physical size and performance are vital parameters; therefore enhancement of heat transfer through different techniques remained a major research area for both academia and industry. This research reports the main purpose of heat exchanger with better kit design which plays a vital role during the process of heat transfer. Plate type heat exchanger mainly requires a design in which the plates can be easily be installed and removed without having any problem with the plates. For the flow of the fluid within the heat exchanger, it requires a flow should be fully developed. As natural laws allows the driving energy of the system to flow until equilibrium is achieved. As with a plate type heat exchanger heat the heat penetrates the surface which separates the hot medium with the cold one very easily. As some of the precautions should be considered while taking the heat exchanger accountable like heat should transfer from hot medium to cold, there should always be difference in temperature present and heat loss from hot body should be equal to the heat gained by the cold body regardless of the losses present to the surroundings. Aluminum plates of same grade are used in all experiments to ensure similarity. Size of all plates was 254 mm X 100 mm and thickness was taken as 5 mm. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=heat%20transfer%20coefficient" title="heat transfer coefficient">heat transfer coefficient</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=aluminium" title=" aluminium"> aluminium</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=entry%20length" title=" entry length"> entry length</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=design" title=" design"> design</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/41433/design-and-analysis-of-enhanced-heat-transfer-kit-for-plate-type-heat-exchanger" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/41433.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">333</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1611</span> Dosimetric Dependence on the Collimator Angle in Prostate Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Isa%20Khan">Muhammad Isa Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jalil%20Ur%20Rehman"> Jalil Ur Rehman</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Afzal%20Khan%20Rao"> Muhammad Afzal Khan Rao</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=James%20Chow"> James Chow</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Purpose: This study investigates the dose-volume variations in planning target volume (PTV) and organs-at-risk (OARs) using different collimator angles for smart arc prostate volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT). Awareness of the collimator angle for PTV and OARs sparing is essential for the planner because optimization contains numerous treatment constraints producing a complex, unstable and computationally challenging problem throughout its examination of an optimal plan in a rational time. Materials and Methods: Single arc VMAT plans at different collimator angles varied systematically (0°-90°) were performed on a Harold phantom and a new treatment plan is optimized for each collimator angle. We analyzed the conformity index (CI), homogeneity index (HI), gradient index (GI), monitor units (MUs), dose-volume histogram, mean and maximum doses to PTV. We also explored OARs (e.g. bladder, rectum and femoral heads), dose-volume criteria in the treatment plan (e.g. D30%, D50%, V30Gy and V38Gy of bladder and rectum; D5%,V14Gy and V22Gy of femoral heads), dose-volume histogram, mean and maximum doses for smart arc VMAT at different collimator angles. Results: There was no significance difference found in VMAT optimization at all studied collimator angles. However, if 0.5% accuracy is concerned then collimator angle = 45° provides higher CI and lower HI. Collimator angle = 15° also provides lower HI values like collimator angle 45°. It is seen that collimator angle = 75° is established as a good for rectum and right femur sparing. Collimator angle = 90° and collimator angle = 30° were found good for rectum and left femur sparing respectively. The PTV dose coverage statistics for each plan are comparatively independent of the collimator angles. Conclusion: It is concluded that this study will help the planner to have freedom to choose any collimator angle from (0°-90°) for PTV coverage and select a suitable collimator angle to spare OARs. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=VMAT" title="VMAT">VMAT</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dose-volume%20histogram" title=" dose-volume histogram"> dose-volume histogram</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=collimator%20angle" title=" collimator angle"> collimator angle</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=organs-at-risk" title=" organs-at-risk"> organs-at-risk</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/5950/dosimetric-dependence-on-the-collimator-angle-in-prostate-volumetric-modulated-arc-therapy" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/5950.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">512</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1610</span> Male Oreochromis mossambica as Indicator for Water Pollution with Trace Elements in Relation to Condition Factor from Pakistan</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Naeem">Muhammad Naeem</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Syed%20M.%20Moeen-ud-Din%20Raheel"> Syed M. Social media platforms are the main and speediest source of fake news propagation, whereas online news websites contribute to fake news dissipation. In this study, we propose a framework to detect fake news using the temporal features of text and consider user feedback to identify whether the news is fake or not. In recent studies, the temporal features in text documents gain valuable consideration from Natural Language Processing and user feedback and only try to classify the textual data as fake or true. This research article indicates the impact of recurring and non-recurring events on fake and true news. We use two models BERT and Bi-LSTM to investigate, and it is concluded from BERT we get better results and 70% of true news are recurring and rest of 30% are non-recurring. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=natural%20language%20processing" title="natural language processing">natural language processing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fake%20news%20detection" title=" fake news detection"> fake news detection</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=machine%20learning" title=" machine learning"> machine learning</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bi-LSTM" title=" Bi-LSTM"> Bi-LSTM</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/190551/the-impact-of-recurring-events-in-fake-news-detection" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/190551.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">22</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1608</span> A Gradient Orientation Based Efficient Linear Interpolation Method</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=S.%20Khan">S. Image interpolation is used to convert a low dimension video/image to high dimension video/image. The objective of a good interpolation method is to upscale an image in such a way that it provides better edge preservation at the cost of very low complexity so that real-time processing of video frames can be made possible. However, low complexity methods tend to provide real-time interpolation at the cost of blurring, jagging and other artifacts due to errors in slope calculation. Non-linear methods, on the other hand, provide better edge preservation, but at the cost of high complexity and hence they can be considered very far from having real-time interpolation. The proposed method is a linear method that uses gradient orientation for slope calculation, unlike conventional linear methods that uses the contrast of nearby pixels. Prewitt edge detection is applied to separate uniform regions and edges. Simple line averaging is applied to unknown uniform regions, whereas unknown edge pixels are interpolated after calculation of slopes using gradient orientations of neighboring known edge pixels. As a post-processing step, bilateral filter is applied to interpolated edge regions in order to enhance the interpolated edges. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=edge%20detection" title="edge detection">edge detection</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=gradient%20orientation" title=" gradient orientation"> gradient orientation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=image%20upscaling" title=" image upscaling"> image upscaling</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=linear%20interpolation" title=" linear interpolation"> linear interpolation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=slope%20tracing" title=" slope tracing"> slope tracing</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/85765/a-gradient-orientation-based-efficient-linear-interpolation-method" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/85765.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">260</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1607</span> The Impact of Online Games, Massively Multiplayer Online Game towards Undergraduate Students in Malaysia</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Rubijesmin%20%20Abdul%20Latif">Rubijesmin Abdul Latif</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Norshakirah%20Abdul%20Aziz"> Norshakirah Abdul Aziz</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohd%20Taufik%20Abdul%20Jalil"> Mohd Taufik Abdul Jalil</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This paper focuses on the impact of online games among Malaysian undergraduate students. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether online games (especially MMOGs) impacted students positively or vice versa; focusing on three elements (time management, social life, and emotion). A total of 83 respondents comprised from 14 Malaysia universities, randomly selected undergraduate students who play MMOGs (casual and hardcore gamers i.e. addiction to MMOGs) were involved in this study. A face parts labeling method (FPL) which divides a given image into its constitutes parts is proposed in this paper. A database FaceD consisting of 564 images is labeled with hand and make publically available. A supervised learning model is built through extraction of features from the training data. The testing phase is performed with two semantic segmentation methods, i.e., pixel and super-pixel based segmentation. In pixel-based segmentation class label is provided to each pixel individually. In super-pixel based method class label is assigned to super-pixel only – as a result, the same class label is given to all pixels inside a super-pixel. Pixel labeling accuracy reported with pixel and super-pixel based methods is 97.68 % and 93.45% respectively. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=face%20labeling" title="face labeling">face labeling</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=semantic%20segmentation" title=" semantic segmentation"> semantic segmentation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=classification" title=" classification"> classification</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=face%20segmentation" title=" face segmentation"> face segmentation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/94715/a-supervised-face-parts-labeling-framework" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/94715.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">255</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1605</span> Critical Success Factors Quality Requirement Change Management</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jamshed%20Ahmad">Jamshed Ahmad</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdul%20Wahid%20Khan"> Abdul Wahid Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Javed%20Ali%20Khan"> Javed Ali Khan</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Managing software quality requirements change management is a difficult task in the field of software engineering. Avoiding incoming changes result in user dissatisfaction while accommodating to many requirement changes may delay product delivery. Poor requirements management is solely considered the primary cause of the software failure. It becomes more challenging in global software outsourcing. Addressing success factors in quality requirement change management is desired today due to the frequent change requests from the end-users. In this research study, success factors are recognized and scrutinized with the help of a systematic literature review (SLR). In total, 16 success factors were identified, which significantly impacted software quality requirement change management. The findings show that Proper Requirement Change Management, Rapid Delivery, Quality Software Product, Access to Market, Project Management, Skills and Methodologies, Low Cost/Effort Estimation, Clear Plan and Road Map, Agile Processes, Low Labor Cost, User Satisfaction, Communication/Close Coordination, Proper Scheduling and Time Constraints, Frequent Technological Changes, Robust Model, Geographical distribution/Cultural differences are the key factors that influence software quality requirement change. The recognized success factors and validated with the help of various research methods, i.e., case studies, interviews, surveys and experiments. These factors are then scrutinized in continents, database, company size and period of time. Based on these findings, requirement change will be implemented in a better way. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=global%20software%20development" title="global software development">global software development</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=requirement%20engineering" title=" requirement engineering"> requirement engineering</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=systematic%20literature%20review" title=" systematic literature review"> systematic literature review</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=success%20factors" title=" success factors"> success factors</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/132539/critical-success-factors-quality-requirement-change-management" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/132539.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">197</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1604</span> Minimal Invasive Esophagectomy for Esophageal Cancer: An Institutional Review From a Dedicated Centre of Pakistan</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nighat%20Bakhtiar">Nighat Bakhtiar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ali%20Raza%20Khan"> Ali Raza Khan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Shahid%20Khan%20Khattak"> Shahid Khan Khattak</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Aamir%20Ali%20Syed"> Aamir Ali Syed</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Introduction: Chemoradiation followed by resection has been the standard therapy for resectable (cT1-4aN0-3M0) esophageal carcinoma. The optimal surgical approach remains a matter of debate. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to share our experiences of minimal invasive esophagectomies concerning morbidity, mortality and oncological quality. This study aims to enlighten the world about the surgical outcomes after minimally invasive esophagectomy at Shaukat Khanum Hospital Lahore. Objective: The purpose of this study is to review an institutional experience of Surgical outcomes of Minimal Invasive esophagectomies for esophageal cancer. Methodology: This retrospective study was performed after ethical approval at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) Pakistan. Patients who underwent Minimal Invasive esophagectomies for esophageal cancer from March 2018 to March 2023 were selected. Data was collected through the human information system (HIS) electronic database of SKMCH&RC. Data was described using mean and median with minimum and maximum values for quantitative variables. For categorical variables, a number of observations and percentages were reported. Results: A total of 621 patients were included in the study, with the mean age of the patient was 39 years, ranging between 18-58 years. Mean Body Mass Index of patients was 21.2.1±4.1. Neo-adjuvant chemoradiotherapy was given to all patients. The mean operative time was 210.36 ± 64.51 minutes, and the mean blood loss was 121 milliliters. There was one mortality in 90 days, while the mean postoperative hospital stay was 6.58 days with a 4.64 standard deviation. The anastomotic leak rate was 4.2%. Chyle leak was observed in 12 patients. Conclusion: The minimal invasive technique is a safe approach for esophageal cancers, with minimal complications and fast recovery. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a
