spectacular spot 14km north of Buncrana and 250m above sea level is a firm favourite for tourists with its spectacular views of Lough Swilly, the Fanad peninsula, Urris and North Inishowen.</p><p>Near the summit of Mamore Gap a number of holy relics can be found – a holy well devoted to St Eigne and a small alter of statues are the centre point of an annual mass held here every August 15th聽in commemoration of <a title="Penal Laws" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20160314123708/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penal_Laws_(Ireland)" target="_blank">Penal times</a> when people had to practice their religion in secret to be protected from persecution.聽There is a holy well near the top which is a place of local pilgrimage.</p><p>There are 聽panoramic views of the hills on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other.</p><p>Look out for the magnetic hill along the way.
