operation are largely inefficient, the state’s top law enforcement officer told the House budget-writing committee on Wednesday.</p> <p>Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Director Steve McCraw Being separated from my family for a somewhat fixed period of time was at the top. I can't imagine how much worse it is for guard members and their families who haven't a clue as to when their current period of deployment to the border will be over or how long it will be until the
