The Shuhites were likely a nomadic tribe in the region, possibly located in the Arabian desert.

*replied*
Bildad's reply is part of the ongoing dialogue between Job and his friends. His response is a reaction to Job's previous speeches, where Job defends his innocence and questions the justice of his suffering. Bildad's reply is intended to correct Job's perspective, emphasizing the traditional view that suffering is a consequence of sin. This sets the stage for a theological debate on the nature of suffering and divine justice.
Persons / Places / Events
1. Bildad the Shuhite
Bildad is one of Job's three friends who come to comfort him during his time of suffering.
