The 3-year co-op placement program has given me an immense head start toward a future career. The Architectural Technology program taught me many of the skills required that are needed for post graduation in the workplace. The most valuable part of this program is the co-op opportunity, obtaining your own position with the assistance from the college teaches you how to present yourself in a professional manner, and detail your skills for a specific job opportunity. I completed a total of 12 months of co-op with G.S. Wark Limited during school, and I am proud to say I was offered full time employment directly out of school. G.S. Wark Limited was a great employer to a co-op student and the skills I learned were invaluable, I am enjoying the early stages of my full-time career as an Estimator and Project Coordinator and look forward to the future, and growing with this company.
