Entre los mercaderes más relevantes encontramos a Martin Boucher, Manuel Merino y Pedro Fernandez de Recas, los cuales fueron hombres muy importantes para la construcción de la imagen real de la reina. In this article we have proceeded to the study of the different merchants at the service of Queen Elisabeth of Farnese.One of the most striking aspects is the amount of fabrics that were sent to the entire royal family, the most important being taffetas and silks embroidered with different ornamental motifs. Los sastres y otros oficiales de Isabel de Farnesio componen una situación privilegiada en el departamento del Real Guardarropa. En las siguientes páginas pretendemos dar nombres y apellidos a los principales sastres, cotilleros y distintos oficiales que confeccionaban los vestidos reales de la reina durante los años 1714 hasta 1746. La entrada de patrones a la corte madrileña contrasta con el único tratado de sastrería de Juan de Albayzeta en 1720, siendo el único en España durante el siglo XVIII. Los sastres de cámara se inspiraban en el tratado de patrones de Albayzeta para enviar e intercambiar patrones entre Madrid y París. De esta forma, los patrones se realizaban en lienzo, siguiendo un boceto llamado la puesta en carta. Abstract. The tailors and other officers of Isabel de Farnesio make up a privileged situation in the department of the Royal Wardrobe. In the following pages we intend to give names and surnames to the main tailors, cotilleros and different officers who made the royal dresses of the queen during the years 1714 to 1746. The entrance of patrons to the court of Madrid contrasts with the only treaty of tailoring by Juan de Albayzeta in 1720, being the only one in Spain during the 18th century. The tailors of camera were inspired by the treaty of bosses of Albayzeta to send and to exchange patterns between Madrid and París. Girón Pascual</a></div><p class="ds-related-work--abstract ds2-5-body-sm">In this paper I will present a study of a key and important group for the economy of the city of Granada and its kingdom: silk merchants. The Castellano de Marquina will be analysed in the role of production and trade, in putting-out system situations, of silk fabrics in Granada (damask, velvet, taffeta, satin and others) during the early modern period. As merchants-entrepreneurs (verlegers), the Castellano kin bought silk cocoons from rural producers, hired spinners, twisters, weavers and dyers in the city and finally traded the products in a very area that extended beyond the kingdom of Granada, and included the city of Seville, port of the Indies. At the same time acquired great power, holding municipal offices as “jurados” and “venticuatros”, and ruled the city in both eco- nomic and political aspects. En este trabajo mostraremos la estima de la reina por el objeto artístico analizando el inventario que Domingo María Sani elaboró, por orden de Carlos III, tras el fallecimiento de la reina. It is based on the viewpoint offered by the city of Valencia and its sources, where references to the activities of Toledo citizens are frequent.
