Entlang der Wege über den Campus stehen kniehoch die Blühwiesen, einige Studierende schlendern zwischen den Gebäuden.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-2" pos="2">Wagner hat seit ihrem Schulabschluss schon einiges gemacht: in der Gastro gejobbt, Kinder im Cheerleading trainiert, eine Ausbildung zur Erzieherin abgeschlossen. Vor einem Jahr dann sieht sie auf Instagram Werbung für einen neuen Studiengang für Grundschullehramt in Senftenberg, eine knappe Dreiviertelstunde mit dem Auto von ihrem Wohnort entfernt. Senftenberg, eine Mittelstadt im äußersten Süden Brandenburgs, ist damit seit einem Jahr neben Potsdam der einzige Ort in dem Bundesland, an dem Grundschullehrer*innen ausgebildet werden.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-5" pos="4">Laut <a href="https://www.fibs.eu/fileadmin/user_upload/images/Leistungen/FiBS-Forum_79_Lehrkraeftebedarf_240301_final.pdf#page=15" target="_blank" class="link in-text-link">Zahlen</a> des Berliner Forschungsinstituts für Bildungs- und Sozialökonomie (FiBS) fehlen bis 2035 bundesweit 16.000 Grundschullehrkräfte. Allein in Brandenburg <a href="https://www.kmk.org/fileadmin/Dateien/pdf/Statistik/Dokumentationen/Dok_238_Bericht_LEB_LEA_2023.pdf#page=49" target="_blank" class="link in-text-link">rechnet die Kultusministerkonferenz der Länder (KMK)</a> mit einem Bedarf von 5.300 Grundschullehrer*innen bis 2035. Für das neue Schuljahr wurden an öffentlichen Grundschulen in dem Bundesland rund 1.150 Lehrkräfte eingestellt, mehr als die Hälfte allerdings befristet. Die Schulämter haben weiterhin große Schwierigkeiten, alle Stellen zu besetzen – insbesondere im ländlichen Raum.</p> <h2 class="typo-r-subhead headline column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-6" id="hohe-abbruchquoten" pos="5">Hohe Abbruchquoten</h2> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-7" pos="6">Angesichts dieser angespannten Situation ist der Lehramtsstudiengang in Senftenberg ein Versuch, genau hier Abhilfe zu schaffen. Doch um mehr Lehrkräfte auszubilden, reicht es nicht, einfach zusätzliche Studienplätze zu schaffen. Mindestens genauso wichtig ist, dass die Studierenden ihr Studium abschließen und ein Referendariat absolvieren. Die <a href="/Lehrermangel/!5943187/" target="_blank" class="link in-text-link">Abbruchquoten beim Lehramt</a> sind hoch.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-8" pos="7">Deshalb versuchen die Verantwortlichen in Senftenberg, die angehenden Lehrer*innen behutsam an die Schule als Arbeitsort heranzuführen – und so den Praxisschock abzumildern, den viele Studierende erleiden, wenn sie das erste Mal vor einer Klasse stehen. „Praxisintegriert“ heißt dieses Studienmodell für den Bachelor. Unter anderem verbringen die Studierenden in den ersten beiden Semestern für jeweils 9 Wochen einen festen Tag an einer Grundschule in der Region. Ab 2026 – pünktlich zum Abschluss des ersten Bachelor-Jahrgangs – wird es in Senftenberg dann einen dualen Master geben. Duale Master sind dabei ein Novum. Die Kultusministerkonferenz hatte erst vor Kurzem für diese Modelle als Ergänzung zum traditionellen Lehramtsstudium geöffnet. In mehreren Bundesländern wie etwa <a href="https://www.baden-wuerttemberg.de/de/service/presse/pressemitteilung/pid/duales-lehramtsstudium-kommt-als-modellversuch" target="_blank" class="link in-text-link">Baden-Württemberg</a>, <a href="https://www.uni-erfurt.de/universitaet/aktuelles/news/news-detail/duales-studium-fuer-das-regelschullehramt-startet-zum-wintersemester-2024-25-an-der-universitaet-erfurt" target="_blank" class="link in-text-link">Thüringen</a>, <a href="https://mwu.sachsen-anhalt.de/artikel-detail/uni-magdeburg-startet-modellversuch-fuer-ein-praxisintegriertes-lehramtsstudium" target="_blank" class="link in-text-link">Sachsen-Anhalt</a> und <a href="https://www.schleswig-holstein.de/DE/landesregierung/themen/bildung-hochschulen/lehrkraeftesh/QuerSeiteneinstieg/documents/dualSonderpaedagogik.html" target="_blank" class="link in-text-link">Schleswig-Holstein</a> starten nun zum Wintersemester duale oder praxisintegrierte Studiengänge. Die KMK hofft, so „gezielt weitere Zielgruppen für ein Lehramtsstudium zu gewinnen“.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-16" pos="13">In Senftenberg scheint das zu funktionieren: Für Bianca Wagner und ihre Studienkollegin Alexandra Schapp war die Aussicht auf den dualen Master ein wichtiger Anreiz, überhaupt das Studium anzufangen. „So haben wir nur während der drei Bachelor-Jahre eine finanzielle Durststrecke. Danach schon Geld zu verdienen und an einer Schule zu arbeiten ist eine gute Perspektive“, sagt die 43-jährige Schapp. Auch Bianca Wagner nennt den dualen Master einen „absoluten Pluspunkt“.</p> <h2 class="typo-r-subhead headline column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-17" id="zweifel-am-dualen-modell" pos="14">Zweifel am dualen Modell</h2> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-18" pos="15">Doch manche Forscher*innen haben Zweifel an dem dualen Modell. So auch der Erziehungswissenschaftler Till-Sebastian Idel von der Universität Oldenburg. Idel bildet seit fast zwanzig Jahren angehende Lehrkräfte aus. Er begrüßt alternative Ideen fürs Studium, weist jedoch auf Fallstricke hin: „Die neueren Programme sind darauf ausgerichtet, möglichst rasch Leute in die Schule zu bringen und damit die Unterrichtsversorgung sicherzustellen. Dabei muss aber der Wissenschaftscharakter der Lehrkräftebildung aufrechterhalten werden“, sagt Idel, der in Oldenburg das Institut für Pädagogik leitet.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-19" pos="16">Bei den Praktika wiederum komme es darauf an, dass die Lehrkräfte, die die Studierenden begleiten, entsprechend geschult werden: „Einfach mal im Unterricht mitlaufen und das dann nachmachen ist nicht bereits eine professionalisierte Lehrkräftebildung“, warnt Idel. Er stellt infrage, ob das Praktikum zum Studienstart überhaupt sein müsse: „Das erste Semester könnte auch eins sein, an dem die Studierenden sich erst mal im Studium einfinden.“</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-20" pos="17">Zurück nach Senftenberg: Studentin Bianca Wagner konnte der Einsatz an der Schule nicht abschrecken. Durch die Ausbildung zur Erzieherin war sie es gewohnt, mit Kindern zu arbeiten. „Ich sehe das sehr positiv, dass wir von Anfang an so viel Praxis machen. Für mich persönlich könnte es sogar noch mehr sein“, sagt Wagner. Doch für unerfahrenere Kommiliton*innen sei es besser, langsam herangeführt zu werden.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-21" pos="18">Nicht nur bei der ersten Berührung mit dem Schulsystem will man in Senftenberg behutsam sein. Auch die Gestaltung des Studiums soll Raum bieten, sich auszuprobieren, und die Studierenden nicht überfordern, erklärt Leiterin Juliane Noack Napoles. Sie steht auf einem Gang im Institutsgebäude. Bis vor Kurzem waren hier noch die Maschinenbauer untergebracht; seit einem Jahr befinden sich hier die Erziehungswissenschaften.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-22" pos="19">„Eine Besonderheit des Studiengangs ist, dass alles unter einem Dach passiert“, betont Noack Napoles. So möchte sie die Vereinbarkeit der Fächer erhöhen.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-23" pos="20">Im ersten Jahr wurden Deutsch und Mathematik angeboten; ab diesem Wintersemester kommen die Fächer Englisch sowie Sachunterricht dazu. Dann soll sich auch die Zahl der Studienanfänger*innen verdoppeln und pro Wintersemester bei 120 liegen. Im Moment gibt es keine Zulassungsbeschränkung. Ab dem Wintersemester 2025/26 soll es zudem möglich sein, in Kombination mit dem jeweiligen Erstfach Mathe oder Deutsch auch Kunst, Sport und Musik für Grundschulen zu studieren.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-24" pos="21">Tatsächlich haben bisher nur wenige Studierende das Studium abgebrochen. Das unterstreicht auch Alexandra Schapp: „Es ist ein kleiner Studiengang, man kennt sich, und es wird nicht ausgesiebt.“ Schapp hat wie auch Wagner schon ein Kind. Das Studium sei gut mit der Familie vereinbar, sagt sie: „Wir kriegen viel Zeit fürs Selbststudium und wenig Druck.“</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-25" pos="22">Juliane Noack Napoles freut sich über solche Erfahrungsberichte. Sie zeigen ihr, dass ihr Konzept erfolgreich ist: „Wir wollen zeigen, dass Lernen nicht nur Arbeit bedeutet und schweißtreibend ist.“</p> <h2 class="typo-r-subhead headline column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-26" id="zum-erz-hlen-ermuntern" pos="23">Zum Erzählen ermuntern</h2> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-27" pos="24">Eine Schlüsselrolle spielen dabei die sogenannten Lernwerkstätten. Noack Napoles führt durch einen Eckraum mit hohen Fenstern. Mitten im Zimmer befindet sich eine Sitzgruppe mit Sofas, entlang der Wände stehen eine Schreibmaschine, ein Set für Linolschnitte, eine Siebdruckstation, Equipment für Kalligrafie. Die Arbeit in den Werkstätten ist ein fester Bestandteil des Studiums.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-28" pos="25">„Es heißt immer: Man soll ganz viele Methoden anwenden. Hier können die Studierenden das schon mal üben“, sagt Noack Napoles.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-29" pos="26">Bianca Wagner und Alexandra Schapp nutzen dieses Angebot häufig. Zuletzt haben sie etwa eine Unterrichtseinheit im sogenannten Kompetenzbereich Sprechen und Zuhören vorbereitet. Die Idee: ein Morgenkreis mit den Schüler*innen nach den Sommerferien. Dafür hat Wagner einen „Fühlsack“ an der Nähmaschine hergestellt, in den Gegenstände kommen, die die Schüler*innen ertasten sollen. Das soll sie zum Erzählen ermuntern. Schapp hat dafür unter anderem einen kleinen Sonnenschirm mit dem 3-D-Drucker angefertigt.</p> <p class="bodytext paragraph last typo-bodytext is-block column pv-0 is-8-tablet mgh-auto-tablet mobile-order-30" pos="27">Für solche kreativen Aufgaben seien die Lernwerkstätten gut geeignet, sagt Wagner. Sie weist aber auch darauf hin, dass kaum eine Schule so gut ausgestattet sei: „Da haben wir oft noch Kreidetafel, Overheadprojektor und CD-Spieler. Entlang der Wege über den Campus stehen kniehoch die Blühwiesen, einige Studierende schlendern zwischen den Gebäuden.\n Wagner hat seit ihrem Schulabschluss schon einiges gemacht: in der Gastro gejobbt, Kinder im Cheerleading trainiert, eine Ausbildung zur Erzieherin abgeschlossen. Vor einem Jahr dann sieht sie auf Instagram Werbung für einen neuen Studiengang für Grundschullehramt in Senftenberg, eine knappe Dreiviertelstunde mit dem Auto von ihrem Wohnort entfernt. Sie bewirbt sich – und schon bald darauf studiert sie an der BTU Deutsch und Mathe für Grundschulen.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Bianca Wagner gehört zusammen mit rund 60 weiteren Studierenden zum ersten Jahrgang des Bachelor-Studiengangs an der BTU. Senftenberg, eine Mittelstadt im äußersten Süden Brandenburgs, ist damit seit einem Jahr neben Potsdam der einzige Ort in dem Bundesland, an dem Grundschullehrer*innen ausgebildet werden.\n Laut Zahlen des Berliner Forschungsinstituts für Bildungs- und Sozialökonomie (FiBS) fehlen bis 2035 bundesweit 16.000 Grundschullehrkräfte. Allein in Brandenburg rechnet die Kultusministerkonferenz der Länder (KMK) mit einem Bedarf von 5.300 Grundschullehrer*innen bis 2035. Für das neue Schuljahr wurden an öffentlichen Grundschulen in dem Bundesland rund 1.150 Lehrkräfte eingestellt, mehr als die Hälfte allerdings befristet. Die Schulämter haben weiterhin große Schwierigkeiten, alle Stellen zu besetzen – insbesondere im ländlichen Raum.\n Hohe Abbruchquoten\n Angesichts dieser angespannten Situation ist der Lehramtsstudiengang in Senftenberg ein Versuch, genau hier Abhilfe zu schaffen. Doch um mehr Lehrkräfte auszubilden, reicht es nicht, einfach zusätzliche Studienplätze zu schaffen. Mindestens genauso wichtig ist, dass die Studierenden ihr Studium abschließen und ein Referendariat absolvieren. Die Abbruchquoten beim Lehramt sind hoch.\n Deshalb versuchen die Verantwortlichen in Senftenberg, die angehenden Lehrer*innen behutsam an die Schule als Arbeitsort heranzuführen – und so den Praxisschock abzumildern, den viele Studierende erleiden, wenn sie das erste Mal vor einer Klasse stehen. „Praxisintegriert“ heißt dieses Studienmodell für den Bachelor. Unter anderem verbringen die Studierenden in den ersten beiden Semestern für jeweils 9 Wochen einen festen Tag an einer Grundschule in der Region. Begleitet wird der Einsatz von wöchentlichen Reflexionssitzungen.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n „Wir konfrontieren unsere Studierenden nicht mit einem Praxisblock, sondern brechen das Praktikum in kleine Schritte auf“, erklärt die Erziehungswissenschaftlerin Juliane Noack Napoles. Sie leitet den Studiengang und hat ihn maßgeblich mitgestaltet. „Praxisintegriert“ bedeute nicht, dass man viel mehr praktische Inhalte habe als andere Unis, fügt sie hinzu: „Aber wir gehen anders heran.“\n Praxisteile erhöht\n In vielen Punkten ähnelt dieses Modell bereits einem dualen Studium. Ab 2026 – pünktlich zum Abschluss des ersten Bachelor-Jahrgangs – wird es in Senftenberg dann einen dualen Master geben. Dafür werden Studium und Referendariat miteinander verbunden, also voraussichtlich die Praxisanteile im Master erhöht und der Übergang ins Referendariat erleichtert.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Die genauen Rahmenbedingungen und die Gestaltung des neuen Studiengangs werden zurzeit in einem sogenannten Werkstattprozess erarbeitet. „Zentrales Motiv für das duale Studium ist: Es gibt explizit zwei Lernorte: die Uni und die Schule“, sagt Professorin Noack Napoles. Die Studierenden arbeiten dabei langfristig an einer Schule und erhalten eine Vergütung aus Landesmitteln.\n Damit zeigt sich auch in Brandenburg der bundesweite Trend, die strikte Trennung von Theorie und Praxis, von Studium und Referendariat aufzuheben. Duale Master sind dabei ein Novum. Die Kultusministerkonferenz hatte erst vor Kurzem für diese Modelle als Ergänzung zum traditionellen Lehramtsstudium geöffnet. In mehreren Bundesländern wie etwa Baden-Württemberg, Thüringen, Sachsen-Anhalt und Schleswig-Holstein starten nun zum Wintersemester duale oder praxisintegrierte Studiengänge. Die KMK hofft, so „gezielt weitere Zielgruppen für ein Lehramtsstudium zu gewinnen“.\n In Senftenberg scheint das zu funktionieren: Für Bianca Wagner und ihre Studienkollegin Alexandra Schapp war die Aussicht auf den dualen Master ein wichtiger Anreiz, überhaupt das Studium anzufangen. „So haben wir nur während der drei Bachelor-Jahre eine finanzielle Durststrecke. Danach schon Geld zu verdienen und an einer Schule zu arbeiten ist eine gute Perspektive“, sagt die 43-jährige Schapp. Auch Bianca Wagner nennt den dualen Master einen „absoluten Pluspunkt“.\n Zweifel am dualen Modell\n Doch manche Forscher*innen haben Zweifel an dem dualen Modell. So auch der Erziehungswissenschaftler Till-Sebastian Idel von der Universität Oldenburg. Idel bildet seit fast zwanzig Jahren angehende Lehrkräfte aus. Er begrüßt alternative Ideen fürs Studium, weist jedoch auf Fallstricke hin: „Die neueren Programme sind darauf ausgerichtet, möglichst rasch Leute in die Schule zu bringen und damit die Unterrichtsversorgung sicherzustellen. Dabei muss aber der Wissenschaftscharakter der Lehrkräftebildung aufrechterhalten werden“, sagt Idel, der in Oldenburg das Institut für Pädagogik leitet.\n Bei den Praktika wiederum komme es darauf an, dass die Lehrkräfte, die die Studierenden begleiten, entsprechend geschult werden: „Einfach mal im Unterricht mitlaufen und das dann nachmachen ist nicht bereits eine professionalisierte Lehrkräftebildung“, warnt Idel. Er stellt infrage, ob das Praktikum zum Studienstart überhaupt sein müsse: „Das erste Semester könnte auch eins sein, an dem die Studierenden sich erst mal im Studium einfinden.“\n Zurück nach Senftenberg: Studentin Bianca Wagner konnte der Einsatz an der Schule nicht abschrecken. Durch die Ausbildung zur Erzieherin war sie es gewohnt, mit Kindern zu arbeiten. „Ich sehe das sehr positiv, dass wir von Anfang an so viel Praxis machen. Für mich persönlich könnte es sogar noch mehr sein“, sagt Wagner. Doch für unerfahrenere Kommiliton*innen sei es besser, langsam herangeführt zu werden.\n Nicht nur bei der ersten Berührung mit dem Schulsystem will man in Senftenberg behutsam sein. Auch die Gestaltung des Studiums soll Raum bieten, sich auszuprobieren, und die Studierenden nicht überfordern, erklärt Leiterin Juliane Noack Napoles. Sie steht auf einem Gang im Institutsgebäude. Bis vor Kurzem waren hier noch die Maschinenbauer untergebracht; seit einem Jahr befinden sich hier die Erziehungswissenschaften.\n „Eine Besonderheit des Studiengangs ist, dass alles unter einem Dach passiert“, betont Noack Napoles. So möchte sie die Vereinbarkeit der Fächer erhöhen.\n Im ersten Jahr wurden Deutsch und Mathematik angeboten; ab diesem Wintersemester kommen die Fächer Englisch sowie Sachunterricht dazu. Dann soll sich auch die Zahl der Studienanfänger*innen verdoppeln und pro Wintersemester bei 120 liegen. Im Moment gibt es keine Zulassungsbeschränkung. Ab dem Wintersemester 2025/26 soll es zudem möglich sein, in Kombination mit dem jeweiligen Erstfach Mathe oder Deutsch auch Kunst, Sport und Musik für Grundschulen zu studieren.\n Tatsächlich haben bisher nur wenige Studierende das Studium abgebrochen. Das unterstreicht auch Alexandra Schapp: „Es ist ein kleiner Studiengang, man kennt sich, und es wird nicht ausgesiebt.“ Schapp hat wie auch Wagner schon ein Kind. Das Studium sei gut mit der Familie vereinbar, sagt sie: „Wir kriegen viel Zeit fürs Selbststudium und wenig Druck.“\n Juliane Noack Napoles freut sich über solche Erfahrungsberichte. Sie zeigen ihr, dass ihr Konzept erfolgreich ist: „Wir wollen zeigen, dass Lernen nicht nur Arbeit bedeutet und schweißtreibend ist.“\n Zum Erzählen ermuntern\n Eine Schlüsselrolle spielen dabei die sogenannten Lernwerkstätten. Noack Napoles führt durch einen Eckraum mit hohen Fenstern. Mitten im Zimmer befindet sich eine Sitzgruppe mit Sofas, entlang der Wände stehen eine Schreibmaschine, ein Set für Linolschnitte, eine Siebdruckstation, Equipment für Kalligrafie. Die Arbeit in den Werkstätten ist ein fester Bestandteil des Studiums.\n „Es heißt immer: Man soll ganz viele Methoden anwenden. Hier können die Studierenden das schon mal üben“, sagt Noack Napoles.\n Bianca Wagner und Alexandra Schapp nutzen dieses Angebot häufig. Zuletzt haben sie etwa eine Unterrichtseinheit im sogenannten Kompetenzbereich Sprechen und Zuhören vorbereitet. Die Idee: ein Morgenkreis mit den Schüler*innen nach den Sommerferien. Dafür hat Wagner einen „Fühlsack“ an der Nähmaschine hergestellt, in den Gegenstände kommen, die die Schüler*innen ertasten sollen. Das soll sie zum Erzählen ermuntern. Schapp hat dafür unter anderem einen kleinen Sonnenschirm mit dem 3-D-Drucker angefertigt.\n Für solche kreativen Aufgaben seien die Lernwerkstätten gut geeignet, sagt Wagner. Sie weist aber auch darauf hin, dass kaum eine Schule so gut ausgestattet sei: „Da haben wir oft noch Kreidetafel, Overheadprojektor und CD-Spieler. Die frage ist jedoch: Was ist richtige Wissenschaft? Macht sich Wissenschaft dadurch aus, dass gewisse Menschen sie nicht verstehen? Dann ist es m.E. nur ein Statussymbol zur Abgrenzung. Von daher würde mich die Argumentation von Idel genauer interessieren.<br></br><br></br> Auf der anderen Seite fehlt mir auch im Senftenberger Modell (wie woanders auch) ein wichtiger Punkt. Die Bewertung von Schüler*innen wird kaum angesprochen, obwohl das doch eine zentrale Aufgabe von Lehrer*innen ist und gerade in der Grundschulzeit wichtige Weichen legt.
