Myrseth has a professional degree in psychology (Cand. Psychol) from the University of Troms酶. She was Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Policy from 16.10.23-19.04.24 and former spokesperson on fisheries policy for the Labour Party (Arbeiderpartiet). She has been a Member of Parliament since 2017, where she served on the Business Committee and the Health and Care Committee until October 2023. In addition, she has been a member of the Labour Party鈥檚 central committee since 2019.
