When he signed his first professional contract at the age of 19, he was thrilled.<br>    Although life was headed in the direction he had always hoped, he knew there was another place he needed to be. Robison and W. Randall Dixon in a not-yet-published book. "While the echo reinforces the sound when there is a single impact, continuous speech is a different matter.
