Instead, it presents the various – current and former – findings in this area, together with their sources, and provides a platform for the presentation of new interpretations. The Rembrandt Database does not give preference to the attributions of certain individuals or institutions. The database presents all attributions, past and present, which have been published with an acknowledgment of the source.
