(QD1) and (QD2) are coupling to each other. The electronic spectral density through a quantum dots between superconducting leads having s-wave symmetry of the superconducting order parameter. Such junction is called superconducting –quantum dot (S-QD-S) junction. For this purpose, we have considered a renormalized Anderson model that includes the double coupled of the superconducting leads with the quantum dots level and an attractive BCS-type effective interaction in superconducting leads. We employed the Green’s function technique to obtain superconducting order parameter with the BCS framework and Ambegaoker-Baratoff formalism to analyze the electronic spectral density through such (S-QD-S) junction. It has been pointed out that electronic spectral density through such a junction is dominated by the attractive the paring interaction in the leads, energy of the level on the dot with respect to Fermi energy and also on the coupling parameter of the two in an essential way. On the basis of numerical analysis we have compared the theoretical results of electronic spectral density with the recent transport existing theoretical analysis. QDs is the charging energy that may give rise to effects based on the interplay of Coulomb repulsion and superconducting correlations. It is, therefore, an interesting question to ask how the discrete level spectrum and the charging energy affect the DC and AC Josephson transport between two superconductors coupled via a QD. In the absence of a bias voltage, a finite DC current can be sustained in such an S-QD-S by the DC Josephson effect. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20dots" title="quantum dots">quantum dots</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=S-QD-S%20junction" title=" S-QD-S junction"> S-QD-S junction</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=BCS%20superconductors" title=" BCS superconductors"> BCS superconductors</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Anderson%20model" title=" Anderson model"> Anderson model</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/3977/electronic-spectral-function-of-double-quantum-dots-superconductors-nanoscopic-junction" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/3977.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">374</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3258</span> Fast-Forward Problem in Asymmetric Double-Well Potential</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Iwan%20Setiawan">Iwan Setiawan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bobby%20Eka%20Gunara"> Bobby Eka Gunara</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Katshuhiro%20Nakamura"> Katshuhiro Nakamura</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The theory to accelerate system on quantum dynamics has been constructed to get the desired wave function on shorter time. Semiconductor heterostructures as quantum wells (QWs), quantum dots (QDs), and quantum rings (QRs) may have energy level structure of several hundred of electron confinement states. The single electron spectra of the double quantum objects (DQW, DQD, and DQR) were studied in our previous works with relation to the electron localization and tunneling between the objects. The wave function of electron may be localized in one of the QDs or be delocalized when it is spread over the whole system. The localizing-delocalizing tunneling occurs when an electron transition between both states is possible. The tunneling properties of spectra differ strongly for “regular” and “chaotic” systems. We have shown that a small violation of the geometry drastically affects localization of electron. In particular, such violations lead to the elimination of the delocalized states of the system. The same symmetry violation effect happens if electrical or magnetic fields are applied. These phenomena could be used to propose a new type of detection based on the high sensitivity of charge transport between double nanostructures and small violations of the shapes. It may have significant technological implications. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=double%20quantum%20dots" title="double quantum dots">double quantum dots</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=single%20electron%20levels" title=" single electron levels"> single electron levels</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=tunneling" title=" tunneling"> tunneling</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=electron%20localizations" title=" electron localizations"> electron localizations</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/24024/nano-sensors-search-for-new-features" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/24024.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">505</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3256</span> Aperiodic and Asymmetric Fibonacci Quasicrystals: Next Big Future in Quantum Computation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jatindranath%20Gain">Jatindranath Gain</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Madhumita%20DasSarkar"> Madhumita DasSarkar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sudakshina%20Kundu"> Sudakshina Kundu</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Quantum information is stored in states with multiple quasiparticles, which have a topological degeneracy. Generally known as quantum structures, these algebras serve as models for the formalism of quantum mechanics. In this work, we introduce the notion of quantum-Wajsberg algebras by redefining the quantum-MV algebras starting from involutive BE algebras. We give a characterization of quantum-Wajsberg algebras, investigate their properties, and show that, in general, quantum-Wajsberg algebras are not (commutative) quantum-B algebras. We also define the ∨-commutative quantum-Wajsberg algebras and study their properties. Furthermore, we prove that any Wajsberg algebra (bounded ∨-commutative BCK algebra) is a quantum-Wajsberg algebra, and we give a condition for a quantum-Wajsberg algebra to be a Wajsberg algebra. We prove that Wajsberg algebras are both quantum-Wajsberg algebras and commutative quantum-B algebras. We establish the connection between quantum-Wajsberg algebras and quantum-MV algebras, proving that the quantum-Wajsberg algebras are term equivalent to quantum-MV algebras. We show that, in general, the quantum-Wajsberg algebras are not commutative quantum-B algebras and if a quantum-Wajsberg algebra is self-distributive, then the corresponding quantum-MV algebra is an MV algebra. Our study could be a starting point for the development of other implicative counterparts of certain existing algebraic quantum structures. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum-Wajsberg%20algebra" title="quantum-Wajsberg algebra">quantum-Wajsberg algebra</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum-MV%20algebra" title=" quantum-MV algebra"> quantum-MV algebra</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=MV%20algebra" title=" MV algebra"> MV algebra</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Wajsberg%20algebra" title=" Wajsberg algebra"> Wajsberg algebra</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=BE%20algebra" title=" BE algebra"> BE algebra</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum-B%20algebra" title=" quantum-B algebra"> quantum-B algebra</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/192449/introducing-quantum-weijsberg-algebras-by-redefining-quantum-mv-algebras-characterization-properties-and-other-important-results" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/192449.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">15</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3252</span> MXene Quantum Dots Decorated Double-Shelled Ceo₂ Hollow Spheres for Efficient Electrocatalytic Nitrogen Oxidation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Quan%20Li">Quan Li</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Dongcai%20Shen"> Dongcai Shen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zhengting%20Xiao"> Zhengting Xiao</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xin%20Liu%20Mingrui%20Wu"> Xin Liu Mingrui Wu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Licheng%20Liu"> Licheng Liu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Qin%20Li"> Qin Li</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Xianguo%20Li"> Xianguo Li</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Wentai%20Wang"> Wentai Wang</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Direct electrocatalytic nitrogen oxidation (NOR) provides a promising alternative strategy for synthesizing high-value-added nitric acid from widespread N₂, which overcomes the disadvantages of the Haber-Bosch-Ostwald process. However, the NOR process suffers from the limitation of high N≡N bonding energy (941 kJ mol− ¹), sluggish kinetics, low efficiency and yield. It is a prerequisite to develop more efficient electrocatalysts for NOR. Herein, we synthesized double-shelled CeO₂ hollow spheres (D-CeO₂) and further modified with Ti₃C₂ MXene quantum dots (MQDs) for electrocatalytic N₂ oxidation, which exhibited a NO₃− yield of 71.25 μg h− ¹ mgcat− ¹ and FE of 31.80% at 1.7 V. The unique quantum size effect and abundant edge active sites lead to a more effective capture of nitrogen. Moreover, the double-shelled hollow structure is favorable for N₂ fixation and gathers intermediate products in the interlayer of the core-shell. The in-situ infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy confirmed the formation of *NO and NO₃− species during the NOR reaction, and the kinetics and possible pathways of NOR were calculated by density functional theory (DFT). In addition, a Zn-N₂ reaction device was assembled with D-CeO₂/MQDs as anode and Zn plate as cathode, obtaining an extremely high NO₃− yield of 104.57 μg h− ¹ mgcat− ¹ at 1 mA cm− ². <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=electrocatalytic%20N%E2%82%82%20oxidation" title="electrocatalytic N₂ oxidation">electrocatalytic N₂ oxidation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nitrate%20production" title=" nitrate production"> nitrate production</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=CeO%E2%82%82" title=" CeO₂"> CeO₂</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=MXene%20quantum%20dots" title=" MXene quantum dots"> MXene quantum dots</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=double-shelled%20hollow%20spheres" title=" double-shelled hollow spheres"> double-shelled hollow spheres</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/185272/mxene-quantum-dots-decorated-double-shelled-ceo2-hollow-spheres-for-efficient-electrocatalytic-nitrogen-oxidation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/185272.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">69</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3251</span> Behavior of Current in a Semiconductor Nanostructure under Influence of Embedded Quantum Dots</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=H.%20Paredes%20Guti%C3%A9rrez">H. We work with a general theory of quantum transport that accounts the tight-binding model for the spin dependent resonant tunneling in a semiconductor nanostructure, and Rashba spin orbital to study the spin orbit coupling. In this context, we use the second quantization theory for Rashba effect and the standard Green functions method. We calculate the current density as a function of the voltage without and in the presence of quantum dots. In the second case, we considered the size and shape of the quantum dot, and in the two cases, we worked considering the spin polarization affected by external electric fields. We found that the EQD generates significant changes in current when we consider different morphologies of EQD, as those described above. The first thing shown is that the current decreases significantly, such as the geometry of EQD is changed, prevailing the geometrical confinement. Likewise, we see that the current density decreases when the voltage is increased, showing that the quantum system studied here is more efficient when the morphology of the quantum dot changes. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20semiconductors" title="quantum semiconductors">quantum semiconductors</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nanostructures" title=" nanostructures"> nanostructures</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20dots" title=" quantum dots"> quantum dots</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=spin%20polarization" title=" spin polarization"> spin polarization</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/49796/behavior-of-current-in-a-semiconductor-nanostructure-under-influence-of-embedded-quantum-dots" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/49796.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">270</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3250</span> Quantum Dynamics for General Time-Dependent Three Coupled Oscillators</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Salah%20Menouar">Salah Menouar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sara%20Hassoul"> Sara Hassoul</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The dynamic of time-dependent three coupled oscillators is studied through an approach based on decoupling of them using the unitary transformation method. From a first unitary transformation, the Hamiltonian of the complicated original system is transformed to an equal but a simple one associated with the three coupled oscillators of which masses are unity. Finally, we diagonalize the matrix representation of the transformed hamiltonian by using a unitary matrix. The diagonalized Hamiltonian is just the same as the Hamiltonian of three simple oscillators. Through these procedures, the coupled oscillatory subsystems are completely decoupled. From this uncouplement, we can develop complete dynamics of the whole system in an easy way by just examining each oscillator independently. Such a development of the mechanical theory can be done regardless of the complication of the parameters' variations. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=schr%C3%B6dinger%20equation" title="schrödinger equation">schrödinger equation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hamiltonian" title=" hamiltonian"> hamiltonian</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=time-dependent%20three%20coupled%20oscillators" title=" time-dependent three coupled oscillators"> time-dependent three coupled oscillators</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=unitary%20transformation" title=" unitary transformation"> unitary transformation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/157908/quantum-dynamics-for-general-time-dependent-three-coupled-oscillators" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/157908.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">96</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3249</span> Experimental Performance and Numerical Simulation of Double Glass Wall</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Thana%20Ananacha">Thana Ananacha</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This paper reports the numerical and experimental performances of Double Glass Wall are investigated. In this paper we investigate the quantum support vector machine and quantum kernel ridge models to predict the degree of non-Markovianity of a quantum system. We perform digital quantum simulation of amplitude damping and phase damping channels to create our quantum dataset. We study their ground state configurations; that is, we find the quantum precursors of the corresponding semi-classical phase transitions. We found that the ground state configurations of both models present the same critical coupling as the quantum Rabi model. Around this critical coupling, the ground state goes from the so-called normal configuration with no excitation, the qubit in the ground state and the fields in the quantum vacuum state, to a ground state with excitations, the qubit in a superposition of ground and excited state, while the fields are not in the vacuum anymore, for the first model. The second model shows a more complex ground state configuration landscape where we find the normal configuration mentioned above, two single-mode configurations, where just one of the fields and the qubit are excited, and a dual-mode configuration, where both fields and the qubit are excited. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20optics" title="quantum optics">quantum optics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20phase%20transition" title=" quantum phase transition"> quantum phase transition</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cavity%20QED" title=" cavity QED"> cavity QED</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=circuit%20QED" title=" circuit QED"> circuit QED</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/53277/ground-state-phases-in-two-mode-quantum-rabi-models" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/53277.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">367</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3241</span> Science behind Quantum Teleportation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ananya%20G.">Ananya G.</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=B.%20Varshitha"> B. Though teleportation has never been achieved, quantum teleportation is possible. Quantum teleportation is a process of transferring the quantum state of a particle onto another particle, under the circumstance that one does not get to know any information about the state in the process of transformation. This paper presents a brief overview of quantum teleportation, discussing the topics like Entanglement, EPR Paradox, Bell's Theorem, Qubits, elements for a successful teleport, some examples of advanced teleportation systems (also covers few ongoing experiments), applications (that includes quantum cryptography), and the current hurdles for future scientists interested in this field. Finally, major advantages and limitations to the existing teleportation theory are discussed. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=teleportation" title="teleportation">teleportation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20teleportation" title=" quantum teleportation"> quantum teleportation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20entanglement" title=" quantum entanglement"> quantum entanglement</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=qubits" title=" qubits"> qubits</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=EPR%20paradox" title=" EPR paradox"> EPR paradox</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=bell%20states" title=" bell states"> bell states</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20particles" title=" quantum particles"> quantum particles</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=spooky%20action%20at%20a%20distance" title=" spooky action at a distance"> spooky action at a distance</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/148679/science-behind-quantum-teleportation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/148679.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">117</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3240</span> Tunneling Current Switching in the Coupled Quantum Dots by Means of External Field</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Vladimir%20Mantsevich">Vladimir Mantsevich</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Natalya%20Maslova"> Natalya Maslova</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Petr%20Arseyev"> Petr Arseyev</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> We investigated the tunneling current peculiarities in the system of two coupled by means of the external field quantum dots (QDs) weakly connected to the electrodes in the presence of Coulomb correlations between localized electrons by means of Heisenberg equations for pseudo operators with constraint. Special role of multi-electronic states was demonstrated. Various single-electron levels location relative to the sample Fermi level and to the applied bias value in symmetric tunneling contact were investigated. Rabi frequency tuning results in the single-electron energy levels spacing. We revealed the appearance of negative tunneling conductivity and demonstrated multiple switching "on" and "off" of the tunneling current depending on the Coulomb correlations value, Rabi frequency amplitude and energy levels spacing. We proved that Coulomb correlations strongly influence the system behavior. We demonstrated the presence of multi-stability in the coupled QDs with Coulomb correlations when single value of the tunneling current amplitude corresponds to the two values of Rabi frequency in the case when both single-electron energy levels are located slightly above eV and are close to each other. This effect disappears when the single-electron energy levels spacing increases. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Coulomb%20correlations" title="Coulomb correlations">Coulomb correlations</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=negative%20tunneling%20conductivity" title=" negative tunneling conductivity"> negative tunneling conductivity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20dots" title=" quantum dots"> quantum dots</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=rabi%20frequency" title=" rabi frequency "> rabi frequency </a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/24887/tunneling-current-switching-in-the-coupled-quantum-dots-by-means-of-external-field" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/24887.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">451</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3239</span> Chemical Reaction Effects on Unsteady MHD Double-Diffusive Free Convective Flow over a Vertical Stretching Plate</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Y.%20M.%20Aiyesimi">Y. In this structure, two independent AlN/GaN RTDs are epitaxially connected in series in the vertical growth direction through a silicon-doped GaN layer. As the collector electrode bias voltage increases, the two RTDs respectively align the ground state energy level in the quantum well with the 2DEG energy level in the emitter accumulation well to achieve quantum resonant tunneling and then reach the negative differential resistance (NDR) region. The two NDR regions exhibit similar peak current densities and peak-to-valley current ratios, which are 230 kA/cm² and 249 kA/cm², 1.33 and 1.38, respectively, for a device with a collector electrode mesa diameter of 1 µm. The consistency of the NDR is much higher than the results of on-chip discrete RTD device interconnection, resulting from the smaller chip area, fewer interconnect parasitic parameters, and less process complexity. The methods and results presented in this paper show the brilliant prospects of GaN RTDs in the development of multi-value logic digital circuits. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=MBE" title="MBE">MBE</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=AlN%2FGaN" title=" AlN/GaN"> AlN/GaN</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=RTDs" title=" RTDs"> RTDs</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=double%20NDR" title=" double NDR"> double NDR</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/183595/double-negative-differential-resistance-features-in-series-aingan-double-barrier-resonant-tunneling-diodes-vertically-integrated-by-plasma-assisted-molecular-beam-epitaxy" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/183595.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">63</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3237</span> The Magnetized Quantum Breathing in Cylindrical Dusty Plasma</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=A.%20Abdikian">A. By using linear quantum hydrodynamic model, not only the quantum dispersion relation of rotation mode but also void structure has been derived in the presence of an external magnetic field. Although the phase velocity of the magnetized quantum breathing mode is greater than that of unmagnetized quantum breathing mode, attenuation of the magnetized quantum breathing mode along radial distance seems to be slower than that of unmagnetized quantum breathing mode. Clearly, drawing the quantum breathing mode in the presence and absence of a magnetic field, we found that the magnetic field alters the distribution of dust particles and changes the radial and azimuthal velocities around the axis. Because the magnetic field rotates the dust particles and collects them, it could compensate the void structure. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=the%20linear%20quantum%20hydrodynamic%20model" title="the linear quantum hydrodynamic model">the linear quantum hydrodynamic model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=the%20magnetized%20quantum%20breathing%20mode" title=" the magnetized quantum breathing mode"> the magnetized quantum breathing mode</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=the%20quantum%20dispersion%20relation%20of%20rotation%20mode" title=" the quantum dispersion relation of rotation mode"> the quantum dispersion relation of rotation mode</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=void%20structure" title=" void structure"> void structure</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/69938/the-magnetized-quantum-breathing-in-cylindrical-dusty-plasma" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/69938.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">298</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3236</span> UML Model for Double-Loop Control Self-Adaptive Braking System</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Heung%20Sun%20Yoon">Heung Sun Yoon</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jong%20Tae%20Kim"> Jong Tae Kim</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In this paper, we present an activity diagram model for double-loop control self-adaptive braking system. In subsequent decades there have been diverse proposals to derive the Born rule starting from even more basic assumptions [2]. In this work, we demonstrate that a simple reinforcement-learning algorithm, having no pre-programmed assumptions about quantum theory, will nevertheless converge to a behaviour pattern that accords with the Born rule, when tasked with predicting the output of a quantum optical implementation of a symmetric informationally-complete measurement (SIC). Our findings support a hypothesis due to QBism (the subjective Bayesian approach to quantum theory), which states that the Born rule can be thought of as a normative rule for making decisions in a quantum world [3]. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20Bayesianism" title="quantum Bayesianism">quantum Bayesianism</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20theory" title=" quantum theory"> quantum theory</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20information" title=" quantum information"> quantum information</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20measurement" title=" quantum measurement"> quantum measurement</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/175290/reinforcement-learning-the-born-rule-from-photon-detection" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/175290.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">108</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3234</span> Steady State Charge Transport in Quantum Dots: Nonequilibrium Green's Function (NEGF) vs. Single Electron Analysis</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mahesh%20Koti">Mahesh Koti</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In this paper, we present a quantum transport study of a quantum dot in steady state in the presence of static gate potential. The capability of this computing infrastructure poses threats to standard cryptographic systems such as RSA and AES, which are designed for classical computing environments. This paper discusses the impact that quantum computing has on cryptography, while focusing on the evolution from classical cryptographic concepts to quantum and post-quantum cryptographic concepts. Standard Cryptography is essential for securing data by utilizing encryption and decryption methods, and these methods face vulnerability problems due to the advancement of quantum computing. In order to counter these vulnerabilities, the methods that are proposed are quantum cryptography and post-quantum cryptography. Quantum cryptography uses principles such as the uncertainty principle and photon polarization in order to provide secure data transmission. In addition, the concept of Quantum key distribution is introduced to ensure more secure communication channels by distributing cryptographic keys. There is the emergence of post-quantum cryptography which is used for improving cryptographic algorithms in order to be more secure from attacks by classical and quantum computers. Throughout this exploration, the paper mentions the critical role of the advancement of cryptographic methods to keep data integrity and privacy safe from quantum computing concepts. Future research directions that would be discussed would be more effective cryptographic methods through the advancement of technology. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20computing" title="quantum computing">quantum computing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20cryptography" title=" quantum cryptography"> quantum cryptography</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cryptography" title=" cryptography"> cryptography</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=data%20integrity%20and%20privacy" title=" data integrity and privacy"> data integrity and privacy</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/189381/quantum-cryptography-classical-cryptography-algorithms-vulnerability-state-as-quantum-computing-advances" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/189381.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">25</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">3231</span> The Ultimate Scaling Limit of Monolayer Material Field-Effect-Transistors</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Y.%20Lu">Y. The ultimate scaling limit of double gate MoS2 Field-Effect-Transistors (FETs) with a monolayer thin body is examined and compared with ultra-thin-body Si FETs by using self-consistent quantum transport simulation in the presence of phonon scattering. Modelling of phonon scattering, quantum mechanical effects, and self-consistent electrostatics allows us to accurately assess the performance potential of monolayer MoS2 FETs. The results revealed that monolayer MoS2 FETs show 52% smaller Drain Induced Barrier Lowering (DIBL) and 13% Smaller Sub-Threshold Swing (SS) than 3 nm-thick-body Si FETs at a channel length of 10 nm with the same gating. With a requirement of SS<100mV/dec, the scaling limit of monolayer MoS2 FETs is assessed to be 5 nm, comparing with 8nm of the ultra-thin-body Si counterparts due to the monolayer thin body and higher effective mass which reduces direct source-to-drain tunnelling. By comparing with the ITRS target for high performance logic devices of 2023; double gate monolayer MoS2 FETs can fulfil the ITRS requirements. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a
