In this way we can better understand how a narrative can effectively reach the masses, making sure this is an interactive process. As a part of a panel discussing Europe’s future alongside representatives from DG Communication and DG Research & Innovation, new ideas will emerge on how projects like Europe 2025 can be better organized and their impact increased. On a lighter note, being an Indian, once we have our own supranational entity, I can make sure we do not repeat (at least) some of the mistakes made here again!”

EuroPCom is the meeting place for communication managers and senior experts of local, regional, national and European authorities. Lectures, debates and interactive workshops will focus on major challenges in EU communication and public communication. The focus of this year’s conference will be on the upcoming European elections in 2014, and more in general on the role and position of public communicators in a period of elections.
<div reflections and highlights from the project:

Dominik Golle: My highlight was the hands-on experience of an EU-style working process: 26 individuals, from more than 10 countries working on 3 different yet interlinked projects – and despite time constraints and limited information, we were able to deliver!

Bob Feidt: The highlights throughout the Europe 2025 project were without doubt the surprisingly good interaction and cooperation between the students during the two workshops in Berlin, and not to forget the spontaneous dinner we had with the former Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou the night before the Townhall in Paris!

Sahil Deo: I remember having a conversation with Christian Franz in the first days of this Project, and asking him what he felt motivates people in European society today. Being a part of Europe 2025 has helped me better understand the answer to this question, the difficulty of which is evident! Going further, I think supranational institutions will be the new model for the world to aspire for, and this project shed light on why that is the case.

PS.
