primary school children through our schools tour of Victoria and NSW.</p> <p>It's always a big event. Each year we undertake a <a href="https://opera.org.au/events/national-tour/">national tour</a> — one year in Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia (the ‘hot’ tour) and the following year in Victoria, Tasmania, southern New South Wales and South Australia (the ‘cold’ tour). This is an extraordinary opportunity for people in remote and regional areas to experience opera.</p> <p>During our tours we provide secondary students with masterclasses and education workshops by professional artists to develop skills in dramatic singing, drama, set design and more.</p> <p>We engage a choir of students between the ages of 9–14 to perform as the <a href="https://opera.org.au/events/national-tour/regional-childrens-chorus/">Children’s Chorus</a> in regional productions.
